A Forgotten Way to Honor your Parents

*🌷A Forgotten Way to Honor your Parents🌷* Of course we all know that honoring our parents is one of the BEST deeds in Islaam and one of the ’most beloved’ to Allaah. It’s a direct Order from Him and is something that earns great rewards.  🌷Allaah says: “And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents” (Surah al-Israa:23)  However, one of the easiest ways to honor the parents, yet quite overlooked and even ‘forgotten’ is to keep in touch with the parents’ friends and loved ones. And this can be done while the parents are still alive and even if they’ve *passed away. *  🌷The Prophet Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam said: “Part of honoring (one’s parents) is to keep in touch with your father’s friend.” (al-Silsilah al-Saheehah- saheeh by al-Albaani)  🌷Keeping in touch with your parents’ friends and loved ones is so important that the Sahaabah went out of their way to do so in order just to honor their parents and ...

DON'T BE SAD Episode 84 WHEN YOUR THOUGHTS WANDER

﷽ *DON'T BE SAD* Episode 84 *WHEN YOUR THOUGHTS WANDER* Thomas Edison said: "There is no subterfuge that one may resort to in order to flee from his thoughts." One can confirm the accuracy of this statement from experience, for even when reading or writing, one is constantly divorced by inappropriate thoughts. One of the best means of controlling such thoughts is to work at something that is at once interesting and useful.

He was a trader in Medina. He was a man of simplicity and kindness.* *He was a well-known wealthy person in Medina and everyone liked and respected him. Abu Darda (رضي الله عنه) was not a born Muslim.* *However, after the Battle of Badr, he got converted into Islam. His preaching's were basically focused on the insignificance of worldly wealth. Once Abu Darda (رضي الله عنه) was walking through the street and found a group of youth sitting and chatting. They were also looking at the passerby. Pearls Of Motivation

*Pearls Of Motivation* Why do we condemn others when we are making the same mistakes? It’s hypocritical to judge people. Instead, work hard to get closer to Almighty ALLĀH (Sub-haanahu wata'aala).

DON'T BE SAD Episode 83 HOLD A GOOD OPTION OF YOUR LORD

﷽ *DON'T BE SAD* Episode 83 *HOLD A GOOD OPTION OF YOUR LORD* William James said: "God forgives us our sins, but our nervous system do not." Ibn al-Wazeer wrote in his book Al-Awwasim wa al-Qawwasim: "Verily, to be hopeful of ALLĀH's mercy opens the doors of optimism for one of His slaves, making him more avid in worship, and inspiring him to be more enthusiastic in performing voluntary acts of worship and racing to perform good deeds." This is true, especially because some people are not moved to do good deeds except when they recall ALLĀH's mercy, forgiveness, and generosity. As a consequence of reflecting on these qualities, they seek closeness to Almighty ALLĀH (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) through diligently performing good deeds.

The meeting with Almighty ALLĀH is not the object of their hope and earnest desire, but something else, viz. 2. The material good of this world, which not only attracts them but apparently gives them complete satisfaction, so that there is no glow of the Future in their horizon, and  3. They are deaf and dead to the resounding and living Message of Almighty ALLĀH (Sub-haanahu wata'aala). 1 and 2 refer to the extinction of Faith in them, and 3 to their falling a prey to the evils of this world in their conduct. SALAAH IS THE KEY TO PARADISE

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha. 19th day of Dhul-QA'adah (Tuesday, 29th June 2021). *_SALAAH IS THE KEY TO PARADISE_*. BismilLah.  It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of ALLAH (Sallallahualaihiwasallam) said: "The first thing for which a person will be brought to account will be his/her Salah. If it is complete (all well and good), otherwise ALLAH will say: 'Look and see if My slave did any voluntary prayer.' If he/she is found to have done voluntary prayers, his/her obligatory prayers will be completed therewith." (Sunan an-Nasa'i 467, Book 5, Hadith 20). Lets Perfect and complete what is fard. This is essential. We sometimes see many engaging in voluntary acts but neglecting what is obligatory. Ensure that your fard is complete, then allow your nafl actions to ornament your actions. What is lacking will be made up on the Day of Judgement In shaa ALLAH. *_May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic inf...

Dealing with Favouritism of the leaders

*Dealing with Favouritism of the leaders* Ibn Mas‘ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "You will see after me favoritism and things which you will disapprove of." They submitted: "What do you order us to do (under such circumstances)?" He replied, "Discharge your obligations and ask your rights from Allah". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. Commentary:  This Hadith tells that if you have rulers who deny your rights and give themselves and their relatives preference over you then patience is a better recourse. Rather than revolting against them, you should seek pardon and forgiveness from Allah and pray for His Protection against the mischief and tyranny of the rulers provided they do not show outright disbelief.

The Story of Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah (RA)

*The Story of Abu*  *Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah (RA)* *His appearance was striking. He was slim and tall. His face was bright and he had a sparse beard. It was pleasing to look at him and refreshing to meet him. He was extremely courteous and humble and quite shy. Yet in a tough situation he would become strikingly serious and alert, resembling the flashing blade of a sword in his severity and sharpness.* *He was described as the Amin or Custodian of Muhammad's community. His full name was Aamir ibn Abdullah ibn al-Jarrah. He was known as Abu Ubaydah. Of him Abdullah ibn Umar, one of the companions of the Prophet, said:* *"Three persons in the tribe of Quraysh were most prominent, had the best character and were the most modest. If they spoke to you, they would not deceive you and if you spoke to them, they would not accuse you of Lying: Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, Uthman ibn Affan and Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah."* *Abu Ubaydah was one of the first persons to accept Islam.  ﷽ *DON'T BE SAD* Episode 82 *BEAR YOUR HARDSHIPS WITH SERENITY* Dale Carnegie said: "African-Americans that live in the South along with the Chinese rarely fall prey to those heart diseases that result from anxiety. This can be attributed to the serene and casual way in which they lead their lives." He also said: "The number of Americans that make suicide attempts is greater than the number of those who die as a result of the five most deadly diseases combined." This is a startling statistic that should not be taken lightly.

Allah did not create this but in truth. He explains the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail for people who have knowledge. #COMMENTARY The fitting epithet for the sun is dhiāa, "splendour and glory of brightness", and for the moon is "a light" (of beauty), the cool light that illuminates and helps in the darkness of the night. But the sun and moon also measure time. The simplest observation can keep pace with the true lunar months and lunar years, which are all that is required by a pastoral people. For agriculture solar years are requ...

A VALUABLE LESSON

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ithnayn. 18th day of Dhul-QA'adah (Monday, 28th June 2021). *_A VALUABLE LESSON_*. BismilLah. Let's finalise on our topic above    Abu Hurairah may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O people, verily, ALLAH is pure and HE accepts only what is pure. Verily, ALLAH has commanded the believers with that which HE commanded HIS Messengers. HE said: O Messengers, eat from good things and work righteousness, for indeed I am knowing of what you do (23:51); and HE said: O you who believe, eat from good things with which ALLAH has provided you. (2:172). Sahih Muslim 1015, Grade: Sahih. From this hadith we've  learned that, any good deeds from haraam sustenance is null and void as such would not be accepted by ALLAH. So let's fear ALLAH and avoid any haraam means of sustenance without any excuses. *_May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

HABITS THAT SHOW IMPROPER UPBRINGING OF CHILDREN

Dear Parents, HABITS THAT SHOW IMPROPER UPBRINGING OF CHILDREN Please, carefully look at the list below and identify where you may want to make amends on yourself or on the young ones you are bringing up. Children, if not properly groomed may never get to the top in life, even if both parents are at the top of their careers. Then, will you not remember? #COMMENTARY Istawā, with the preposition ilā after it, means He turned to or He directed Himself by His will to as in Qur-ān chapter ii, verse 29. With the preposition alā after it, as here and in Qur-ān chapter vii, verse 54 and elsewhere, the meaning seems to be "to mount or ascend", and to be firmly established, to sit firm and unshaken, beyond question.
