SALAATU ALAN NABI

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 15th day of Dhul-QA'adah (Friday, 25th June 2021). *_SALAATU ALAN NABI_*. BismilLah. 


One of the famous companion of the Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallim), Hazrat Ka'ab bin Ujrah (radi Allahu anhu), narrates that once it was enquired from Rasoolullah (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallim) as to how blessings should be sent to him as commanded by ALLAH. The Prophet (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallim) replied that the blessings be said in this manner

"ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA ALAA AALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA SWALLAITA ALAA IBRAHIIMA WA ALAA AALI IBRAHIIMA INNAKA HAMIIDUM MAJIID. ALLAHUMMA BAARIK ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA ALAA AALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA BAARAKTA ALAA IBRAHIIMA WA ALAA AALI IBRAHIIMA INNAKA HAMIODUM MAJIID.

MEANING:

"O ALLAH, let Your Blessings come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. Oh ALLAH, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious". Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891].  ﷽ ➖➖➖ *IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE* ➖➖➖ *An obligation upon every Muslim* ➖➖➖  Allah ﷻ says  *وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا* _And He taught Adam all the names of everything_ Meaning, the names that people use, such as human, animal, sky, earth, land, sea, horse, donkey, and so forth, including the names of the other species" *ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَـئِكَةِ* _Then He showed them to the angels_ Meaning, the creations.
