Surah Yunus, Verse 9/10

*Surah Yunus, Verse 9:*

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ يَهْدِيهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِإِيمَانِهِمْ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ

Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah along with the six articles of Faith, i.e. to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, Day of Resurrection, and Al-Qadar (Divine Preordainments) - Islamic Monotheism], and do deeds of righteousness, their Lord will guide them through their Faith; under them will flow rivers in the Gardens of delight (Paradise).

#COMMENTARY

Their Faith is the cause as well as the instrument of their Guidance, the kindly Light which leads them as well as the Joy which fills their Soul.

*Surah Yunus, Verse 10:*

دَعْوَاهُمْ فِيهَا سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَامٌ وَآخِرُ دَعْوَاهُمْ أَنِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Their way of request therein will be Subhanaka Allahumma (Glory to You, O Allah!) and Salam (peace, safe from each and every evil) will be their greetings therein (Paradise)! and the close of their request will be: Al-Hamdu Lillahi Rabbil-'Alamin [All the praises and thanks are to Allah, the Lord of 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)].

#COMMENTARY

A beautiful piece of spiritual melody! They sing and shout with joy, but their joy is in the Glory of Almighty ALLĀH (Sub-haanahu wata'aala)! The greetings they receive and the greetings they give are of Peace and Harmony! From first to last they realise that it is ALLĀH Who Cherished them and made them grow, and His rays are their Light.
