THE SUNNĀHS OF LEAVING AND COMING BACK HOME

*THE SUNNĀHS OF LEAVING AND COMING BACK HOME* An Nawawi said: «it is preferred to say (in the name of Allah) and repeat (remembrance) of Allah frequently.  1-Mentioning regards to Allah: the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: «when a man mention Allah while entering his house and when he eat, the devil say to his mates (there is no food or shelter for this night for you) « Narrated by Imam Muslim.  2-Entrance Du’aa: the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: « say (O Allah I ask you the best out of entrance and the best out of exit, I enter in the name of Allah and exit in the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah) then salute his family.» narrated by Abu Dawood. This is the way a man depends on Allah while entering or exiting, which keeps him always connected to Allah.  3-Using Sewak: Imam Muslim narrated that t...

Series On The Manner & Etiquette of Seeking Knowledge Episode 1

﷽ *Series On The Manner & Etiquette of Seeking Knowledge* *Episode 1* There is no book better than the Book of Allah (may He be glorified and exalted). What I advise my brothers to do is to focus on the Holy Qur’an, memorising it, understanding it and acting upon it, for the Sahaabah (may Allah be pleased with them all) did not go beyond ten verses until they had learned them and what they contain of knowledge and prescribed actions; they learned knowledge and put it into practice at the same time. 👉 Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (RAHIMAHULLAAH) *Habits Of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ*  Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to do Zikr (Remembrance of ALLĀH) and ask ALLAH for forgivness in Abundance. *Pearls Of Motivation* Never forget that Almighty ALLĀH is on our side. If we take a single step towards Him, He takes many steps towards us! Yes, life is hard and unfortunate things happen to us. Often we don’t know why they happen. But trust Him and know that He wants good for us.

Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage Episode 279 What is a Good Muslim Marriage Like?

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 279* *What is a Good Muslim Marriage Like?* 'You shall not enter Paradise until you have faith, and you shall not have faith  until you love one another. Have compassion on those who are on earth, and He Who is  in Heaven will have compassion for you.' (Hadith in Bukhari)  Firstly, a good Muslim marriage should show welcome. Even if the wife did not spend all her day in the home, but perhaps had some employment outside it even so, the Muslim home should be ready to welcome the family and the guest.   It is the most miserable thing in the world to come home to a dark, locked house, totally empty and bereft of human presence-and this is particularly crushing to a new husband or a child. Any wife thinking of taking up some kind of employment should bear this in mind. Where children are involved, she should make some arrangement with a relative or helper so that they do not build up a mental picture of a home wh...

DO NOT REJECT THE CALL TO REAL SUCCESS

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 12th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Thursday 29th October. 2020). *_DO NOT REJECT THE CALL TO REAL SUCCESS_*. BismilLaah.  When a friend, a relative or an acquaintance invites us to their house or to a social gathering, we usually tend to respond in two ways. Either we graciously accept their invitation or we politely refuse because we simple have other commitments. It also often happens that when we respond in the negative, we tend to feel bad while turning down an invite. Imagine a situation where your friend invites you over for lunch. You decline the invitation but he or she invites you again the next day. Clearly, the friend is interested in spending time with you because he or she must really like you. You decline again. The next day, your friend invites you once more for lunch. You will respond in either two ways. You will feel bad and finally accept the invite or you will turn it down once more. After having his or her invitation re...

THE BID'AH OF CELEBRATING MAWLID AN-NABI THE MISGUIDANCE OF INNOVATIONS

﷽ ➖➖➖  *THE BID'AH OF CELEBRATING MAWLID AN-NABI* ➖➖➖ *THE MISGUIDANCE OF INNOVATIONS* ➖➖➖ Nowhere in the Qur'ān or Hadeeth is it written that we should celebrate the Mawlid of the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) himself did not do it nor did he command anyone to do it, either during his lifetime or after his death. What has been reported is that the Prophet (ﷺ) made the *DAY* of his birth a day of worship, and not the *DATE* of his birth, which is different to celebration.  He was asked about fasting on Mondays and he (ﷺ) said: _*"That is the day on which I was born and the day on which I was entrusted with the mission (or I was first given Revelation).*_  [Muslim 265, an-Nasaa'i 2186]. The Sahaabah, who were the people around the Prophet and they loved him most, were not reported to have celebrated the Mawlid of the Prophet (ﷺ). It wasn't reported that Abu Bakr(رضي الله عنه), who was the closest of people to him and the one who loved him the most, celebrated the bi...

THE SUNNĀHS OF WEARING CLOTHES

*THE SUNNĀHS OF WEARING CLOTHES* If you want to wear or take off your clothes:  1-Say (Bismi Allāh i.e. In the name of Allah), when you wear or take off your clothes. An Nawawi said: It is (I.e. saying Bismi Allah) recommended in all actions.  2-The Prophet – Peace be upon him – said when he wears his clothes, shirt, dress or turban: (O Allah, I ask You for its goodness and the goodness of what it has been made for, and I seek Your protection from the evil of it and the evil of what it has been made for) narrated by Abu Dawood, At Termithi, Ahmad, and it was authenticated by Ibn Hebban and Al-Hakem and he said that it meets the conditions of Muslim, and this was supported by Al-Thahabi.  3-Start by the right side upon wearing clothes. The Prophet – Peace be upon him – said: (If you wear clothes start with the right side) narrated by At-Termithi, Abu Dawood, Ibn Majah, and it is authentic.  4-Upon taking off the clothes, start with the left side then the right.

40 Hadīths For Children With Stories* *Episode 40 (Final Episode): The Yellow Cow

﷽ *40 Hadīths For Children With Stories* *Episode 40 (Final Episode): The Yellow Cow* Aunt 'Ā'ishah planted beans in her garden. The beans sprouted in a very short time as the weather had been good. One day, Aunt 'Ā'ishah woke up to the loud bellows of a cow in the garden. She rushed out to see what was happening. Her neighbour's yellow cow had broken into her garden and it was trampling the young beans. Aunt 'Ā'ishah was petrified when she saw all her efforts going to waste. The yellow cow with a rope still around her neck kept bellowing outside her stable. Aunt 'Ā'ishah, who was getting angrier every second, walked towards the cow with a big stick in her hand. Just then, her neighbour's wife came by running. She started to talk with a sad voice: "Her poor calf died yesterday. She broke her ropes three times this morning. She is running around, looking for the calf." When Aunt 'Ā'ishah heard this, the stick fell from her hand. ...

Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 278* *THE KEY TO A HAPPY MARRIAGE (4)

﷽ *Let's Change Our Mindsets About Marriage* *Episode 278* *THE KEY TO A HAPPY MARRIAGE (4)* When husbands on the brink of divorce are interviewed by counsellors such as the  Relate teams, they frequently realise with a shock that even though they might have been  married for years and have perhaps expected their wives to pander to their every whim,  they do not have the least idea what their wife's favourite colour, or dress, or hobby is, or  who their friends are. They simply never noticed any aspect of their wife that did not  specifically relate to them.   People are not perfect, of course; we all have shortcomings. A spouse might not be aware of the shortcomings of his or her partner before marriage, but will certainly pick up this awareness pretty soon afterwards. Some marriages virtually die in the honeymoon period, if some awful, unsuspected habit is suddenly revealed in the intimacy of the bedroom. A friend of mine, for example, accepted her ...

THE EVIL NATURE OF Hypocrisy CONTINUES

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 11th day of Rabeeul Awwal (Wednesday 28th October. 2020). *_THE EVIL NATURE OF Hypocrisy CONTINUES_*. BismilLah.  Let's continue from our reminder yesterday; Among the characteristics of hypocrites among Muslims especially of today are those which were described by the Messenger (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him):  “There are four (characteristics), whoever has all of them is a complete hypocrite, and whoever has some of them has some element of hypocrisy, unless HE or she gives it up: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a treaty, he betrays it; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; when he quarrels, he resorts to insults.”(Narrated by Imam Muslim, 53). If you are within these list then please repent to ALLAH seeking HIS guidance and forgiveness.  Among their characteristics is a concern with appearances and fancy speech whilst they are inwardly corrupt. “And when you look at them, their bodies please you; and wh...

THE SUNNĀH OF WEARING SHOES

*THE SUNNĀH OF WEARING SHOES* The Prophet – Peace be upon him – said: (If you want to wear your shoes, start with the right foot and if you want to take it off, start with the left. Or you should either wear them both at the same time, or take them both off.) Narrated by Muslim.  This Sunnah is repeated at day and night so many times; the Muslim wears and takes off his shoes to go out and come back from the Masjid, work, home, bathroom …etc, therefore, when you wear or take off the shoes according to the Sunnah with the intention of following the ex- ample of the Prophet – Peace be upon him – you will gain a lot of good deeds.

AL-AKHDHARI: The Book Of Ibadah* *Part 33: FORGETFULNESS ON THE PART OF THE IMAM

﷽ *AL-AKHDHARI: The Book Of Ibadah* *Part 33: FORGETFULNESS ON THE PART OF THE IMAM*  Whoever sighs in his salaat has nothing on him unless he distinctly articulate a letter. If the Imam makes an error of omission or addition the follower(s) calls his attention by  saying “Subhaanallah”, Glory be to Allah.  When your Imam arises after two Rak’aat (without sitting first) say Subhaanallah! If  however, he has already left the ground, follow him. If he sits after the first or second  Rak’at, arise and do not sit with him. If he makes only one Sajda and leaves the second, say  Subhaanallah and do not arise with him unless you fear he will go into Ruku’ in which case you must follow him and do not after that sit with him neither in the second nor third Rak’aat.  When (he finally) makes Salaam, add another Rak’at in place of the Rak’at you cancelled  thereby completing your Salaat and do the Sujood before Salaam. If this happens in a congregation ...
