*Episode 40 (Final Episode): The Yellow Cow*
Aunt 'Ā'ishah planted beans in her garden. The beans sprouted in a very short time as the weather had been good.
One day, Aunt 'Ā'ishah woke up to the loud bellows of a cow in the garden. She rushed out to see what was happening. Her neighbour's yellow cow had broken into her garden and it was trampling the young beans.
Aunt 'Ā'ishah was petrified when she saw all her efforts going to waste. The yellow cow with a rope still around her neck kept bellowing outside her stable. Aunt 'Ā'ishah, who was getting angrier every second, walked towards the cow with a big stick in her hand.
Just then, her neighbour's wife came by running. She started to talk with a sad voice:
"Her poor calf died yesterday. She broke her ropes three times this morning. She is running around, looking for the calf."
When Aunt 'Ā'ishah heard this, the stick fell from her hand. She began to pat the grieving cow, looking into her sorrowful eyes.
"I see..... She is missing her baby," she said. She totally forgot about the beans.
Aunt 'Ā'ishah performed a simple act of kindness.
How commendable Aunt 'Ā'ishah's change of behaviour was, was it not? It was just as our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and Peace of Allāh be upon him) ordered in the following Hadīth:
اتقوا الله في هذه البهائم المعجمة
رواه أبوداود
*"Be afraid of Allāh and do not be cruel against dumb animals."*
*[Abū Dāwud]*
Source of the Hadīth: Abū Dāwud, Kitāb al-Jihād, Hadīth Number 44.
#Alhamdulillah! This is the end. May ALLĀH guide us. Ameen
*Habits Of Prophet Muhammad
ﷺ*
Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) always used to prostrate after winning the war or after every moment of joy.
*Pearls Of Motivation*
As much as the Almighty opens doors for us, He also closes them. When that happens, it takes a mature mind to say, “I don’t understand it, but I’m not going to get upset because He knows what’s good for me. I shall accept it. I trust Him fully.”
