*Episode 39: The Dog*
It was harvest time and Mahmoud and his wife were harvesting their field. As they worked, their little baby slept under a tree, watched over by their dog Karabas.
A little while later Mahmoud and his took a break. When they went up where their baby was sleeping, they witnessed a terrible scene. Their baby was lying face down in the cradle, motionless, while Karabas was lying a few yards away, covered in blood.
Mahmoud went mad. He thought Karabas had killed his baby so he struck the dog with his scythe. Poor Karabas died instantly.
Mahmoud was even more shocked when his wife told him their baby was fine, just sleeping. They didn't know what to think until they caught sight of a huge snake lying dead a few feet away. They realised that Karabas got wounded after fighting the big snake and had sacrificed his life saving their baby. They felt extremely sorry about the big mistake they had made.
If Mahmoud had acted in accordance with what our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and Peace of Allāh be upon him) had ordered in the following Hadīth, they would have been happier:
الأ ناة من الله والعجلةمن الشيطان
رواه الترمذي
*"Acting with caution is from Allāh, and haste is from the Devil."*

Source of the Hadīth: Tirmidhi, Kitāb al-Birr, Hadīth Number 66.

*Pearls Of Motivation*
Whatever it is that you want, ask Almighty ALLĀH (Sub-haanahu wata'aala). Your whole life can change with supplication. That’s the most powerful tool you have. Use it. Don’t waste it. It can change your fate. Only He (ALLĀH) can give you what you want. And you’ll be rewarded just for asking!
