*Need a Blessing?*
[[---- Part 6 ----]]------------------
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the relentless rush of modern life, our inner dialogue often sounds like this: "Let me just finish this work," "Let me sleep a little more," "Let me quickly attend to this, then I will pray." We treat the Swalah as a flexible item on our to-do list, something to be fitted in when convenient.
The truth, as established by the Quran and the Sunnah, is that deliberately delaying an obligatory prayer beyond its prescribed time is a major sin that incurs the wrath of Allah and severs the very connection through which His blessings flow.
Think of it like this: you can have the most advanced, powerful car in the world, filled with fuel. But if the engine is disconnected from the wheels, all that power and fuel are useless. The engine will roar, but the car will not move. In this analogy, our hard work and resources are the fuel and the engine. Allah's blessing is the drivetrain that connects our efforts to meaningful, forward-moving results. Remove it, and nothing "works well," no matter how much noise we make.
Muslim Faithful,
Allah does not leave room for ambiguity. He says in the Quran:
"Indeed, prayer has been prescribed upon the believers at fixed times." 📚(Surah An-Nisa, 4:103)
The phrase "at fixed times" (mawqootan) is decisive. Each prayer has a specific window ordained by Allah (swt). To push it outside that window by choice is to directly contradict this divine command. It is an act of saying, "My schedule is more important than Allah's decree."
My People,
Barakah is not merely wealth; it is the divine presence in your time, your health, your relationships, and your endeavors. It is that which makes a little sufficient and a lot meaningful.
This Barakah is inextricably linked to our obedience. Yes. When we prioritize the command of Allah (swt) over the command of our desires, we activate the divine promise of provision and ease.
Evidence:
"If the people of the towns had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened upon them blessings from the heavens and the earth..." 📚(Surah Al-A'raf, 7:96)
My People,
Establishing the prayer on time is the ultimate act of Taqwa (God-consciousness). Conversely, delaying it is an act of prioritizing the creation over the Creator, which effectively "closes" the doors of Barakah from our lives.
*A Call to Awakening:*
Brothers and Sisters, let us awaken from our slumber. The thought that says, "Let me finish this first" is a whisper from Shaytan, designed to make us value the temporary over the eternal.
The believer's response should be the opposite. When the call to prayer is heard, or the time enters, the world should be put on hold. What email, what meeting, what sleep, could possibly be more important than that?
Let us set alarms not just for the start of the prayer time, but with labels that remind us: *"Your appointment with Allah is now."*
To be continued
