You & Hourglass

 *You & Hourglass*

------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Hourglass is a glass container filled with sand that takes one hour to move from an upper to a lower part through a narrow opening in the middle, used especially in the past to measure time.

Now,

Life is like an hourglass. Yes. Since birth, a person’s life of hourglass starts to run down toward the empty part, reducing the grains of life gradually.

Servants of Allah!

The sands of time keep running out until the last grain in the hourglass slides down from the narrow neck of the hourglass. And only Allah knows the remaining grains of sand in everyone’s hourglass.

My People,

It only the *"Most Wisest "* who who always remember death & prepare for it.

Evidence:

Ibn Umar reported: A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, which of the believers is best?” The Prophet (pbuh) said, “Those with the best character.” The man said, *“Which of the believers is the wisest?” The Prophet said, “Those who remember death often and have best prepared for it with good deeds; those are the wisest.”* 📚Sunan Ibn Ma‌jah 4259

Now,

Are you amongst the *"Most Wisest"* according to the above hadeeth?

Servants of Allah!

I'm always worried each time I remember hadeeth narrated by Abu Hurayra (R.a.) that, our beloved Prophet (pbuh) said: *“Indeed the first deed by which a servant will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection is his Swalat. If it is complete, he or she is successful and saved, but if it is defective, he or she has failed and lost. So, if something is deficient in his or her obligatory (prayers) then Allah (swt) will say: ‘Look! Are there any voluntary (prayers) for my worshipper?’ So, with them, what was deficient in his or her obligatory (prayers) will be completed...”* 📚(Tirmizi)

Remember that,

Of all the nawafl prayers, Tahajjud is the most beloved to Allah (swt), most rewarding and beneficial.

Evidence:

The Prophet (pbuh) said:👉 *“The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer.”* 📚(Muslim)

Also,

Our good deeds will appear in the form of a companion in our grave:

Evidence:

From a long narration of hadeeth narrated, al-Bara’ ibn ‘Aazib (r.a.) that the Prophet (pbuh) said:

"....Then there comes to him a man with a handsome face and handsome clothes, and a good fragrance, who says, ‘Receive the glad tidings that will bring you joy this day.’ He says, ‘Who are you? Your face is a face which brings glad tidings.’ He says, ‘I am your righteous deeds...." 📚 Ahmad (4/362)

Imagine urself sacrificing 15minutes everyday (consistently) establishing Tahajjud and standing a chance of having Tahajjud as a companion in ur grave till the day of judgement!

My People,

If u have not yet set ur phone alarm in a repeating mode, to wake u up for midnight nawafil *(Tahajjud)* everyday till the end of ur life, pls do so immediately.

Let assume you wake up by 2AM, use 3minutes to perform ablution, 2minutes to get dressed, 5minutes to establish ONLY 2rakaat nawafil, 5minutes to make Du'a to Allah. Total time spent = 15minutes. *Everything In 15minutes,* then, go back to catch up with sleep.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
