*Let's start on this verse*
*Al Qur’an 4:32*
*(4:32) Do not covet what Allah has conferred more abundantly on some of you than others. Men shall have a share according to what they have earned, and women shall have a share according to what they have earned. Do ask of Allah His bounty. Allah has full knowledge of everything*

This verse embodies a very important directive, Allah ﷻ has not created all men alike..._
▪️Some are handsome while others are ugly.
▪️Some have sound limbs others have inherent deformities.
▪️Some possess outstanding physical and mental abilities while others lack them.
▪️Some are born in favourable circumstances and others not.
★ Some have been endowed with more resources than others.

*It is this diversity which gives 【variety to human civilization】, and hence serves a useful purpose.*_
▪️Whenever man superimposes distinctions of his own over and above this natural inequality he disrupts the natural order of things, and paves the way for corruption.
▪️Likewise, when anyone attempts to obliterate all differences between human beings he in fact engages in a war against nature and inflicts wrongs of another kind.

*_Man is naturally inclined to feel uneasy whenever he sees someone else ahead of him. This is the root of jealousy and envy*_
▪️_These feelings often obsess a person to such a degree that whenever fair means do not prove effective, he resorts to unfair means to achieve his ambitions._
_In the present verse, Allah ﷻ directs us not to allow this kind of mentality to take hold of us and yearn for the good that Allah ﷻ has bestowed on others.... rather pray to Allah ﷻ to bestow upon one the good which is in one's best interests according to Allah's wisdom and knowledge.

_Imam Ahmad and tirmidhi recorded that Umm Salamah said_
_*“O Messenger of Allah ﷺ ! Men go to battle, but we do not go to battle, and we earn one-half of the inheritance (that men get).”*_
Allah ﷻ sent down
*“And wish not for the things in which Allah has made some of you to excel others….”*
*“…For men there is reward for what they have earned, (and likewise) for women there is reward for what they have earned…”*.

*Let's continue on how this verse was revealed*👇. [5:93] Al-Māidah-
There is no sin on those who believe and do righteous deeds with regard to what they have eaten (of the unlawful things before the prohibition came), whereas (in all other matters) they were Godwary and put firm faith (in other commandments of Allah), and practised pious deeds consistently.
Later, (also after the revelation of the prohibitions,) they desisted from (all the unlawful things) and believed (true-heartedly in their unlawfulness), became men of piety and Godwariness, and (finally) rose to the station of men of spiritual excellence (i.e., Allah’s beloved, favourite, intimate and righteous servants). And Allah loves those who live with spiritual excellence.

Volume 6, Book 60, Number 144:
Narrated Anas:
The alcoholic drink which was spilled was Al-Fadikh. I used to offer alcoholic drinks to the people at the residence of Abu Talha. Then the order of prohibiting Alcoholic drinks was revealed, and the Prophet ordered somebody to announce that: Abu Talha said to me, "Go out and see what this voice (this announcement ) is." I went out and (on coming back) said, "This is somebody announcing that alcoholic beverages have been prohibited." Abu Talha said to me, "Go and spill it (i.e. the wine)," Then it (alcoholic drinks) was seen flowing through the streets of Medina. At that time the wine was Al-Fadikh. The people said, "Some people (Muslims) were killed (during the battle of Uhud) while wine was in their stomachs." So Allah revealed: "On those who believe and do good deeds there is no blame for what they ate (in the past)." (5.93)
