Our 4 year old son has some fairly serious health problems, so we are “frequent fliers” at the local children’s hospital. Two weeks ago, our son was there for several days having surgery. As stressful as that was for us, my visits to that hospital almost always leave me feeling grateful. Why? Because of “the other doors.” As I walk the corridors of that hospital, I pass doors leading to many different departments. I pass the department where surgeons reconstruct children’s faces. I pass the department where specialists treat children who have been tragically burned. I pass the department where children with cancer spend their childhoods battling a disease that terrifies most adults. Every day, people walk through those doors. I keep walking. Occasionally, I walk through a ward, past the room of a dying child. I look in at the child, unconscious amid a mass of tubes and machines. First of all, let me remind all that, a husband CANNOT fast to cover his wife's missed Ramadan fastings. With regards to Breastfeeding mothers and also pregnant women, two scenarios may apply: 1. If the woman is not affected by fasting, and fasting is not too difficult for her, and she does not fear for her child, then she is obliged to fast, and it is not permissible for her not to fast. 2. If the woman fears for herself or her child because of fasting, and fasting is difficult for her, then she is allowed not to fast, but she has to make up the days that she does not fast after Ramadan. In this situation it is better for her not to fast, and it is makrooh or descouraged for

Yet, among all the fearing and grieving that accompanies the tragedy, the dish antennas on the rooftops has been flourishing. In the past at times of catastrophes people would turn to ALLAH, would stop going to the cinema houses, and would repent from sins, even though temporarily. Today, there is an ever-increasing appetite for the television fun. On days when a strike

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُمْ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاءٌ لِمَا فِي الصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ “People, indeed a reminder has come to you from your Lord, a cure for what is in the chests, a guide and a mercy for the faithful.” Qur’ān 10:57 In this verse Allāh describes the Qur'ān with four qualities: 1. A reminder 2. A cure 3. A guide 4. A mercy To better understand that, think of the Qur'an as a doctor. A physician’s role varies based on the patient, the illness, and its severity. Sometimes, he takes preventative steps by warning a healthy person from things that may harm his health. If, however, the patient is already sick, then he reacts, moving from preventive care to treatment and cure. After a patient is healed, he takes on the role of a guide who prescribes what the patient needs to maintain health. Once the patient is healthy, he will recognize the blessings of following his doctor's advice. Imām al-Rāzi notes that

There was a builder who worked for a company building homes. When he got older, he wanted to retire. He went to the manager of the company and informed him of his intention to retire. The manager said he could retire, but under condition that he build one final home for the company. The man accepted the condition and began building the home as quickly as he could so he could fulfill the condition and finally retire. However, the home was built shabbily; the doors were poorly hung and the walls were flimsy. He then rushed to the manager and handed him the keys to the newly built home. The manager then informed him that this home was a gift to him from the company he had served for so many years. Needless to say, the man was shocked; he thought to himself, why didn't I built that home well, why didn't I make that the best home I ever built? Be careful of the "thieves" during the month of Ramadan: 1. Television🌴 This thief is dangerous and ruins the days of people and diminishes their rewards. By watching useless movies and programs it squanders the time in a month where the days are the best of all days and the nights are the best of all nights.🌴 2. The Importance of Prayer:- ============================== The Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) said :- “The first deed for which people will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be their prayer. The prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: "On the day of jumu'ah, the angels stand at the entrance of that masjid in which jumu'ah salaat is to be offered. They write down the name of the person who enters the Masjid first, and thereafter the name of the person who follows, and they continue doing this. The person who entered first will receive the reward of sacrificing a camel in the path of Allah, the one who followed him will get the reward of sacrificing a cow, thereafter a chicken, thereafter the reward of giving an egg as charity in the path of Alla

*1) Against Allah* By committing shirk (associating partners with Allah). Considering Allah created us and sustains us, this is the worst type of Zulm! Allah says, “Luqman said to his son while he was instructing him, 'O my son, do not associate partners with Allah. Indeed, shirk is great Zulm'” (Qur'an, 31:13). *2) Against oneself* a) By disobeying the commands of Allah. Commands are of two types: Doing good and abstaining from evil. Many make an effort to do good, but true piety is to exert equal effort in abstaining from evil. b) By not fulfilling the rights of the body. For example, eating/sleeping too little or too much, overworking the body, and overexerting oneself in worship. *3) Against others* By treating others unfairly or not fulfilling their rights. This includes being abusive, ill-mannered towards our loved ones, paying our staff less than they deserve, humiliating others, misguiding others, and oppressing the weak or poor. Imagine standing in Tahajjud all night but end up gaining sins AstaqfirulLah. Very dangerous isn't it. As human beings we have this dangerous disease of acting to please others instead of ALLAH. Imagine someone offering Salaat, as soon as he noticed someone watching, he or she try to perfect it than how he use to do it, that's a minor shirk if not major bcs it means you are prefearing the person looking at you to ALLAH seeing you live all the time. This is the disease of ar-riyaa (show-off). It’s very difficult. Nobody can say, “I’m safe from riyaa.” The one who says this is showing off. The Prophet warned us about riyaa, but what is the meaning of ar-riyaa? Riyaa is so dangerous that the Prophet gave it a special name. _*Pure Islamic Education*_                          _First  Hadīth Of The Day_ حَدَّثَنَا  إِسْحَاقُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ  بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ،  عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ أَنَّ رَجُلاً رَأَى كَلْبًا  يَأْكُلُ الثَّرَى مِنَ الْعَطَشِ، فَأَخَذَ الرَّجُلُ خُفَّهُ فَجَعَلَ  يَغْرِفُ لَهُ بِهِ حَتَّى أَرْوَاهُ، فَشَكَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ فَأَدْخَلَهُ  الْجَنَّةَ ‏" ‏‏.‏        Narrated Abu Huraira:                              The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A man saw a dog eating mud from (the severity of) thirst. So, that man took a shoe (and filled it) with water and kept on pouring the water for the dog till it quenched its thirst. So Allah approved of his deed and made him to enter Paradise." THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 19th day of Shăbaan, 1440, (Thursday, 25th April, 2019). *_ENVY AND HATRED ARE THE DESTROYERS OF OUR GOOD DEEDS_*. *Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem*. Envy (hasad) is a spiritual disease that is the root of numerous sins. It is incompatible with true faith and it has the capacity to nullifying a person’s good deeds. A Muslim cannot achieve a pure heart until it is emptied of all envy, hatred, and malice. The definition of envy is that it is a desire to see someone harmed in something with which ALLAH has blessed them. The person who envies is, in reality, displeased with the way ALLAH has distributed HIS blessings. ALLAH says: أَمْ يَحْسُدُونَ النَّاسَ عَلَىٰ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ Or do they envy people for what ALLAH has given them of HIS bounty? Quran 4:54. Imam An-Nawawi wrote in one of his books that: الحسد هو تمني زوال النعمة عن صاحبها سواء كانت نعمة دين أو دنيا Envy is the desire for someone who has a blessing to be

1. SABR: patience, steadfastness, endurance and accepting what Allah ( ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻪ ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ) has destined for you. This will make you strong to face more hardship and will give you rewards in this life by lifting your troubles and with many goodness in the next life. 2. SHUKR : gratefulness, thankful to Allah (ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻪ ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ) for everything, feeling content with what Allah ( ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻪ ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ) has given you. This will make you feel rich even if you don't have a thing and it will get you rewarded here by increasing your blessings here and in the hereafter. 3. TAQWA : piousness, righteousness, good character, doing what is prescribed and keeping away from forbidden deeds. This will make you loved by Allah ( ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻪ ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ) , His angels and mankind and you will be rewarded in this life by always having a way out in this life and with Jannah . 4. TAWAKKUL: putting your total trust in Allah ( ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﻪ ﻭﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ ) , leaving your affairs in His hands, realizing that everything goes as He has pl
