*Three Daughters*
*On Eid this year, I gifted my three girls this personalised wall art set with their names and the Hadith of the prophet (s):*
*“Whoever has three daughters and he accommodates them, shows mercy towards them and supports them; then they will be his shield from the hellfire on the day of resurrection”*
🤲🏽🤲🏽🤲🏽
*We put these up on the wall that seperates their rooms; so they see it all the time and are reminded of the honour it is for us, their parents, to have them and their status in Islam.*
❤
*When people ask me how many kids I have and I tell them “3 girls”; it’s (still) almost always followed by an awkward pause, a delayed “Aww mashallah” or “Try for a boy”… a new one the other day said “How sad for your husband he doesn’t have anyone to play football with”, to which I replied “Don’t worry, he doesn’t play football.”*
🤣🤣
*I hope my girls grow up in a time where they don’t hear such comments, it reminds me of the days of Jahilyah…and those days are scary as…*
*Whatever children Allah blesses you with, girls only, boys only, boys and girls, or no kids >>> it’s ALL khair for you because what Allah Chooses is the best always Alhamdulilah…*
*If you knew the ilm of the unseen; you wouldn’t choose for yourself any different… I believe this wholeheartedly… and for this I’m forever grateful, Alhamdulilah, for my precious rizq that is my daughters…*
*When I hear people say these comments I honestly feel so sorry for them… In my head, I think, “What cultural conditioning have you poor soul been conditioned with?!”… And I make dua for their healing… because for anyone to think a gender is better than another is a troubled person with wrong and unislamic beliefs…*
*May Allah Almighty guide and protect all our children… the boys and the girls.* Ameen
🤲🏽
