WHO IS ALLAH? Let's continue from yesterday's reminder

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 18th day of Safar. (Saturday, 25th of September 2021).

*_WHO IS ALLAH? Let's continue from yesterday's reminder_*. My apologies for the length as the topic is huge and require deep explanation from the Quran itself. BismilLah.

The Quran been the only surviving Authentic speech of the Creator tell us that ALLAH has always existed and there never was a time HE did not exit. As such, HE is the Eternal, without beginning and without end. HE is the only creator and sustainer of all that exists and nothing and no one exists alongside HIM, nor does HE have any partners. HE tells us, HE is not created, nor is HE like HIS creation in anyway. HE calls HIMSELF by a number of names and some of them are:

The First - (Al-Awwal), The Last - (Al-Akhir), The Eternal and the One who is sought after by HIS creation, while HE has no need from them at all. (As-Samad). HE is not a man and HE has no progeny or offspring. HE is not what HE creates nor is HE compared to it. HE always has existed and HE never was created, as HE is not like HIS creation, nor similar to it, in any way. "HE" is only used to show respect not gender as our language is limited in defining who ALLAH is but lets Ask the Quran how ALLAH defined HIMSELF. ALLAH says in Quran chapter 112; If they ask who is ALLAH then say; HIS name is ALLAH meaning meaning the Only POWER worthy of worship, HE is ONE and ONLY not just one, Quran didn't say waahid but ahad meaning ONE and ONLY Allahu Akbar, Quran is too sweet and too powerful Maa Shaa ALLAH.

Let's continue, Allahus Samad meaning all depend on HIM, anything, living and non living things but HE needs NONE. And HE gave birth to nothing but Created everything and HE wasn't giving birth to or created by anything and FINALY There is NOTHING LIKE HIM. Allahu Akbar.

The prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) explained the devil would come to a person and whisper asking them questions about creation; "Who created this or that?" to which the reply would be; "ALLAH" until he would ask; "Who created ALLAH?" At this stage the prophet advised us to drop this train of thought as our brain has a limit to comprehend till we die to face the reality. Obviously, ALLAH - the true one GOD, must be eternal and not have to be created. So let's learn the Quran and use it when they approach us for questioning.

The Quran tells us:

Allahu! La ilaha illa Huwa (There is none worthy of worship except ALLAH), the Ever Living, the Sustainer and Protector of all that exists. HE doesn't get tired and HE doesn't sleep. Everything in the universe belongs to HIM. Who then, could intercede between HIM and his creatures without HIS Permission? HE Knows everything about them and they have no knowledge except as HE wills. HIS kursi (stool or chair) extends over the entire universe and HE doesn't get tired of guarding and preserving it. HE is Most High, the Most Great. This Verse is called Ayat-ul-Kursi.] [Noble Quran 2:255]. One of The greatest verses in the Quran which satan fears when we recite it. This verse truly presents the comprehensive representation of ALLAH in a way without trying to define HIM by comparing HIM to HIS creation, but rather as being the Absolute in all of HIS Attributes and Characteristics. TO BE CONTINUED TOMORROW in ShaaALLAH.

*_May ALLAH protect us from any satanic influences and increase us in beneficial Knowledge and Wisdom_*. Aameen.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
