THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 22nd day of Safar. (Wednesday, 29th of September 2021).
*_SOME WAYS TO GOODNESS_*. Bismillah.
My apologies for the delay as I was so busy at work this morning. Back to our topic today.
Imam Al-Bukhari and Imam Muslim narrated that Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May ALLAH be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Giving in charity is an obligation upon every Muslim". It was said (to him): "What about one who does not find (the means) to do so?'' He (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Let him work with his hands, thus doing benefit to himself and give in charity.'' It was said to him: "What if he does not have (the means) to do so?'' He (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Then let him assist the needy, the aggrieved.'' It was said: "What about if he cannot even do this?'' He (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Then he should enjoin good.'' He was asked: "What if he cannot do that?'' He (the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "He should then abstain from evil, for verily, that is a charity from him".
This hadith has made it clear that abstaining from committing sins is an act of charity (Sadaqa) and that alone can get us closer to ALLAH so let's strive to defeat sheitan in our ways of life. Don't worry about your past, repent now, regret your sins and ask ALLAH to forgive you as ALLAH love to forgive. *_May ALLAH aid us through_*. Aameen.
