 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Ahad. 18th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Sunday, 31st December, 2023). *_CONTROLLING OUR TONGUE FROM BACKBITING AND SLANDERING_*. BismilLah.  Controlling the tongue for many people is more difficult than abstaining from food and drinks. It is easy to abstain from food and drink, but abstaining one’s tongue is a really difficult one even during fasting.  What we need to remember is that ALLAH is not in need of the fasting of such a person. The Prophet sallallahu  alaihi  wasallam said: “Whoever does not give up false speech and acting upon it, ALLAH has no need of him giving up his food and drink.” [Tirmidhi 707]. Even though it is difficult to always keep our tongue under control, let us try our best. Let us constantly keep reminding ourselves that we are not only abstaining from food and drink and that we are also abstaining from all sorts of sins, which will cause us to attain the anger of ALLAH. We feel as if those around us will not be taken from us, and we form deep attachments that make it difficult for us to cope or even comprehend when someone is not there anymore. In understanding death, we have to first understand life. The nature of this world is that everything in it is temporary. Monuments crumble, civilizations perish, and people come and go. Health alternates illness. The old make way for the new, and the cycle of life continues. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur’an  4:78 Wheresoever you may be, death will overtake you, meaning, you shall certainly die, and none of you shall ever escape death. as ALLAH says again in Quran 55:26, كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish).  Also ALLAH says 21:24 كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَايِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ Everyone shall taste death,  and in 21:24 وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ الْخُلْدَ And ALLAH granted not to any human being immortality before you.   Therefore, every soul shall taste death, and nothing can save any person from it.  In shā Allāh, for this month of Jumādā al-Thānī 1445 AH, Ayyam al-Beed [white days] will fall on: 13th Jumādā al-Thānī – Tuesday 26th of December 14th Jumādā al-Thānī  – Wednesday 27th of December  15th Jumādā al-Thānī – Thursday 28th December “Beed”  is the plural of “Abyad” which means white. Three days of 13, 14 and 15 of lunar month are called “Al-Ayyam-ul-Beed” for the reason that their nights are bright because of the moonlight. The moon begins to diminish gradually after these days. BismilLah.  According to the Quran, Jesus Christ was a Mighty Messenger of ALLAH (Almighty GOD), A Prophet, A word or command from ALLAH into Maryam (Mary AS) who was sent ONLY to the children of Israel (that's the descendants of Jacob or Yaacoub son of Isaac or Ishaaq may peace be upon them all).  Also in Quran 3:45 ALLAH commanded the Angel Gabriel or Jibreel to say to the mother of Jesus Christ as follows, ‘Mary, God gives you news of a Word of command of creation from HIM, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, who will be held in honour in this world and the next, who will be one of those brought near to God." Meaning she will have a baby in her stomach by the command of the Creator (ALLAH) as HE does whenever HE intents to create anything and the child will have titles such as son of Mary as

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Jumuat. 9th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Friday, 22nd December, 2023). *_OUR SUSTENANCE IS FROM ALLAH BUT WE MUST STRIVE FOR IT_*. BismilLah. "There is no moving creature on earth, but its sustenance depends on ALLAH: HE knows the time and place of its definite abode and its temporary deposit: All is in a clear Record". Qur'an, Hud, 11: 6  This clear Qur'anic teachings destroy the basic assumptions of Population Control campaign. ALLAH says "And the earth I have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. And I have provided therein means of subsistence, for you and for those for whose sustenance you are not responsible." [Hijr 15:19-20]. THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 8th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Thursday, 21st December, 2023). *_THE CONCEPT OF ISLAH IN ISLAM, THE NEGLECTED FARD AND SUNNAH ACTION_*. BismilLah.  Islah (إصلاح) is an Arabic word and appears seven times in the Quran.  Linguistically speaking, this word means: reconciliation, reforming, bringing order, fixing something, making something better etc.  The one who makes islah is called a muslih (مصلح), and muslih appears in the Quran once in singular form and four times in plural form muslihoon (مصلحون). Our current world, our ummah is in dire need of islah. Huge problems surround us, and these problems will only grow bigger if no one does something.  The Prophet (Sallalahu alaihi wasallam) said once: “ Verily, this religion began as something strange. And it will go back to being something strange. So give glad tidings for the strangers”. Someone asked him: “And who are they, O Messenger of ALLAH?” He said: “They are those who rectify and

In Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8,  Book 73, Number 5, it was narrated by   Abdullah ibn Omar (may ALLAH be pleased with him): ‘I heard ALLAH’s Messenger (SAWS) saying: Three persons of people before you were on a journey when they were overtaken by a storm, and therefore, they took shelter in a cave. A rock slipped down from the mountain and blocked the exit from a cave. In summary, they identified the only way for them is to make dua using their good deeds. One of them made dua based on how he served his old age parents, the second made dua based on the sadaqah he gave for free whilst initially wanting to have sexual intercourse with a lady he loved so much who came to him for help and wanted to use that advantage but feared ALLAH and let her go. BismilLah.  ALLAH says ​"and HE created the JINNS and HUMANKIND only to worship HIM"​ They were created before we humans so they are only jealous of us based on how we agreed to worship ALLAH but most of them decided to follow sheitan who is a jinn himself and their imam or leader.  Generally​: All of them are weak, and they flee when they hear QUR'AN recitation except the good ones who are Muslims who hang around to listen to the Quran. BismilLah.  Dealing with non-Muslims is very sensitive. We Muslims need to be balanced in our attitude toward them. On one hand, we Muslims have to be just and kind toward non-Muslims in order to reconcile and soften their hearts towards Islam. On the other hand, we may not compromise the basics of their religion or get involved with them in whatever is related to their rituals or religious practices, especially so-called Xmas which involves shirk. Accepting gifts from non-Muslims was permitted by Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). But if the gift is related directly to the rituals they have on that day and involves haraam food like pork or animals killed in the name of Issah alaihisalaam as some does, then you humbly decline it. Firstly, you need to make it a habit that every day when you get up in the morning and before you sleep at night you glance at yourself and your circumstances and then reflect on the spiritual and material Blessings that ALLAH has bestowed upon you, and give a collective thanks to HIM for them. Especially you need to reflect on the wealth of Eeman (true faith in ALLAH) and easy circumstances that ALLAH has given you and give your heartfelt thanks to HIM for them, and resolve to use those gifts in a proper way.  Besides this, whenever a thought crosses your mind about any of the bounties from ALLAH that you enjoy, you should thank HIM quietly in your heart by saying ALHAMDULILLAH. Physical actions such as the Salaat, Fasting, Zakaat and Hajj etc is an essential part of faith, without which faith is not valid, and a lack of physical action is indicative of a lack of faith in the heart, because they are strongly interconnected. Whoever thinks that there could be strong and sound faith without that leading to physical action (righteous deeds), even though he knows about his religious duties and is able to do them, is thinking that something impossible is possible, and is denying the connection between physical action and what is in the heart. BismilLah.  The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: It is not lawful for a man to sit between two people unless he has their permission. Sunan Abu Dawud 4845. The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, would say when leaving an assembly: سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ O ALLAH, glory and praise be to YOU. I testify there is no GOD but you, I ask your forgiveness and I repent to YOU. ALLAH taught us in the Qur'an to say in suuratul Faatihah; “Guide us along the Straight Way/path. The way of those whom You have bestowed Your Grace. Not of those who earn Your anger, nor of those who go astray.” (Qur’an, 1 vs 6-7). When we examine these verses, we find that it has some very interesting qualities that make it a unique prayer. In a short examination of the above verses, we will find guidance on: Having humility as a servant of ALLAH subhanahu wa ta’ala (Glorified is HE) in the community. Ascribing success to ALLAH (swt) and not to oneself. The comprehensiveness of Islam. The social nature of the Islamic message. The people of Madina felt concerned about the situation in Egypt. Abdullah b Sa'ad the Governor of Egypt reported about the activities of the seditionist in Egypt. He wanted to take action against Muhammad b Abu Bakr, Muhammad b Abi Hudhaifa and 'Ammar b Yasir. Uthman did not want Abdullah b Sa'ad to be harsh against these persons for whom he had great regard. In view of the reassuring reports from Kufa, Basra and Syria, Uthman addressed an open letter to his subjects. _______PAGE 2________ He observed that he had deputed special emissaries to investigate into the rumors against the administra
