Yawm al-ithnayn. 21st day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 30th April 2024). *_THE DANGEROUS NATURE  OF OUR SADAQAH/ CHARITY/ SUPPORT FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS IF NOT FOR ALLAH SAKE_*. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in the holy QUR'AN 2:264. يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُبۡطِلُواْ صَدَقَٰتِكُم بِٱلۡمَنِّ وَٱلۡأَذَىٰ  O you who believe! Do not render in vain your Sadaqah (charity) by reminders of your generosity or by injury,  ALLAH then says, كَالَّذِي يُنفِقُ مَالَهُ رِيَاء النَّاسِ like him who spends his wealth to be seen of men, meaning, "Do not nullify your acts of charity by following them with reminders and harm, just like the charity of those who give it to show off to people." The boasting person pretends to give away charity for ALLAH'S sake, but in reality seeks to gain people's praise and the reputation of being kind or generous, or other material gains of this life. All the while, he does not think about ALLAH or gaining

 *Who's Your Friend?* [[----Episode Two---]] ------------------------------- *Everyone Need Friends But Not Everyone Has Them* بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم On the Day of Judgment there won’t be any friends, rather it would be such a situation that friends would turn into enemies 📚(Quran chapter 43 verse 67). At such an instance, only those who are pious would remain friends of each other. Therefore, if one is to make friends, then he or she should make friends who are pious *(not those who leur you into extra marital affairs or boyfriend girlfriend stuff or backbittng, slander, visiting so-called Alfas who claim to have the knowledge of unseen and fortunetellers, cheating on ur spouses etc),* because such friends don’t just remain friends in this world only, rather they remain friends in the world hereafter as well. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 66:8; يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ امَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوحًا O you who believe! Turn to ALLAH with sincere repentance! meaning, a true, firm repentance that erases the evil sins that preceded it and mend the shortcoming of the repenting person, encouraging and directing him to quit the evil that he used to do. ALLAH then says, عَسَى رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُكَفِّرَ عَنكُمْ سَيِّيَاتِكُمْ وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الاَْنْهَارُ It may be that your Lord will expiate from you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, And when ALLAH says, "it may be," it means HE shall. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 42:20, مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ حَرْثَ الاْخِرَةِ Whosoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, means, whoever does things for the sake of the Hereafter, نَزِدْ لَهُ فِي حَرْثِهِ ALLAH will give him or her increase in his or her reward, meaning, `ALLAH will give him or her strength and help him or her  to do what he wants to do, and ALLAH will increase it for him or her. BismilLah.  Learning knowledge should be for the sake of ALLAH, that's acting upon that knowledge to please Allah, otherwise knowledge will have an evil consequence, so we remain between two illnesses, either the illness of ignorance or the illness of knowledge which is not beneficial, but rather harmful. The knowledge which Prophet Muhammad (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) came with is in itself beneficial. AlhamdulilLah for granting us to be part of this blessed day in this blessed week. It's my hope that majority of us are fasting from today till Thursday as highly recommended by theProphet sallallahu alaihi wasallam.  ﷽ ➖➖➖ TEST OF THIS LIFE ➖➖➖ Be Patient And Strive To Succeed ➖➖➖ A great Hadith from the Ahadith of Honourable Messenger ﷺ that puts in the hearts of the believers, Peace and comfort. Prophet ﷺ said "The believing man and woman will continue to be afflicted in respect to themselves, their children, their property, until they meet Allah without sins" [Sunan At-Tirmidhi 2399, Grade: Sahih] So be patient, oh people of affliction! Indeed Allah ﷻ has accounted for you a great reward! Allah ﷻ says  إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning.  *REMEMBRANCE OF ALLAAH* How Rewarding can it be? Many are those things considered too minimal for a great reward. We pay less attention or No attention to it in most cases despite its glaring state and the obvious reminder in the Book of Allaah, the Qur'an! How rewarding could the remembrance of Allaah be? The answer can be found below! ''Verily, the Muslims (those who submit to Allaah in Islam) men and women... (up to)... And the men and women who remember Allaah much with their hearts and tongues. THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Ahad. 12th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Sunday 21st April 2024). *_DO NOT IGNORE FASTING FROM TOMORROW MONDAY TO THURSDAY_*. BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam encouraged us to fast every 13th, 14th and 15th of each Islamic calendar which start on Monday so if you've not started your debts of Ramadhan or the 6t Shaw'waal then there is no better days to fast than from tomorrow Monday to Thursday so please make up your mind and intend not to miss these golden reward days of Shaw'waal.  If you've completed your 6t Shaw'waal then let's start the sunnah fastings. These 4 golden days from Monday does not appear very often so let's not miss this opportunity to earn more and get us closer to ALLAH. *_May ALLAH accept it from us all_*. Aameen.

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 11th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Saturday 20th April 2024). *_QUR'AN AS A GUIDE TO MANKIND_*. BismilLah.  ALLAH did not create us and left us to find our own ways of life. ALLAH created mankind with guidance to follow towards returning to HIM successfully. We must study the guidance as a matter of urgency. It's not an option, but it's compulsory for anyone of us to study the guidance which is the Qur'an and Sunnah from an authentic source of knowledge else we could be deviated from the guidance and end us into the trap of Shaitan into the hell fire.  Some of the many examples in the Quran can be obtained from Qur'an 3:100-104. Please find time to study these 4 verses carefully from any authentic tafseer book, such as the reliable 10 volume ibn kathir books published by DarusSalaam.  Qur'an 3 Verse 100 guides us against following misguided  religious beliefs such as those who claim to be following Issah alaihi salaam.

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Jumuat. 10th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Friday 19th April 2024). *_THE IMPORTANCE of HALAAL SUSTENANCE_*. BismilLah.  There is no doubt that one of the obligations upon the Muslim is that he/she earns for him/herself and his family a pure and halal sustenance. Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "O People! ALLAH is al-Tayyib (Pure), and HE only accepts that which is pure! ALLAH has commanded the believers what HE has commanded the Messengers, for HE said, 'O Messengers! Eat from the pure foods, and do right,' and HE said, 'O you who believe! Eat from the pure and good foods ALLAH has given you.'" Then the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) mentioned a traveller on a long journey, who is dishevelled and dusty, and he stretches forth his hands to the sky, saying, "O my Lord! O my Lord!" - while his food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothing is unlawful, and he

 *Major Dutifulness* [[--- Episode Two ---]] -------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Service to parents is better than jihad *(using sword and got killed in the process)* for the sake of Allah the Almighty😳. Yes. This shows how important dutifulness to parents is.. This is confirmed in several hadiths which demonstrate the *priority* of this duty over all other considerations. (1) Abdullah ibn Amr (r.a.) said: “A man came to the Prophet (PBUH) and asked his permission to take part in jihad. The Prophet asked him, ‘Are your parents alive?’ ‘Yes, they are,’ he replied. The Prophet told him, ‘Then exert yourself in their service *(meaning - go and take care of them)* ’”📚 (al-Bukhari). (2) Abdullah ibn Masud (r.a.) asked the Prophet (PBUH): “What is next to piety?” The Prophet replied, *‘To be good and dutiful to your parents.’* He then asked, ‘What is next?’ The Prophet replied, ‘To participate in jihad in Allah’s cause’ ” 📚 (al-Bukhari).  *Major Dutifulness* [[--- Episode One ---]] -------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم The gravity of sins of not been dutiful to one's parents is so much that,, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “Three acts will render one’s deeds *useless* ; 1⃣ associating others with Allah, 2⃣ *Uquq (not been dutiful) towards parents* and 3⃣ fleeing or running away) from the battle.” 📚 Authentic Hadith My people! Parents are a blessing from Allah, the Exalted, but their presence is often *taken for granted* and their rights, neglected especially when they grow old and become dependent on their children. Yes. This is the time you will see children talking harshly and rudely to parents and showing discomfort on their requests. Islam teaches obedience and kindness to parents, fulfilling their right, preserving their honour and warns against neglecting the rights of parents.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 9th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Thursday 18th April 2024). *_STAYING STEADFAST AFTER RAMADHAAN_*. Bismillah. Been Muslims of the creator not for Ramadhaan means we must continuously be in the state of obedience to ALLAH'S, firm upon His rules, steadfast upon His Deen, so that we are not of those who worship ALLAH only during one month or only in one place. Rather, the believer knows that the Lord of Ramadhan is also the Lord of other months, and that HE is the Lord of all times and places, so we must be steadfast upon the rules of the creator until we meets HIM while HE is pleased with us.  If standing in prayer at night during Ramadhan has ended, then there remains voluntary night prayer throughout the year.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 8th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 17th April 2024). *_RULINGS ON OBSERVING THE THIRD, FORTIETH DAY AFTER THE DEATH OF A RELATIVE_*. BismilLah. Our Scholars based on Quran and Sunnah have stated that offering dua or prayers for the deceased after his burial is Sunnah, because of the report narrated by Abu Dawood (3221) from the hadeeth of ‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Affaan (may ALLAH be pleased with him) who said: When the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) had finished burying a deceased person, he would stand over him and say: “Pray for forgiveness for your brother, and ask that he be made steadfast, for he is being questioned now.”  Offering dua’ for the deceased Muslims in general, and for close relatives in particular, is also prescribed in general terms at any time, without specifying any particular time meaning we should make dua for our dead relatives and Muslims all the time but not a funeral as the kuffar does.  Choosi

How many girls have been far more merciful and beneficial to their parents than their brothers? How many times has a son been a source of grief for his parents, to the point that they wished he was never born? It is enough of an honour for girls that the Prophets, may Allah exalt their mention, had daughters and that most of the children of our beloved Prophet  were daughters, namely: Zaynab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kalthoom and Fatimah. Therefore, Children are no doubt a great gift from Almighty Allah to all parents.. And parents must think of their children as such treasures that all the wealth and material resources are worthless as when compared to one’s children.. Yes..  *Most Precious Gift* [[--- Episode Two ---]] ------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم *Point No 1:* Nana Maryam's mother thought she would give birth to a boy, that was why she made the pledge to Allah (swt) for her child to be dedicated to service of the masjid, but Allah (swt) gave her a girl (Maryam), and yet, she (Maryam) did better in the service of the masjid than what a boy could have done.. This is an indication that, a child is child irrespective of whether is a boy or a girl. Yes. The most important thing is - *"how blessed the child is to the parents, Islam and world at large"* - Subhananllah! *Point No 2:* It is enough of an honour for girls that the Prophets, may Allah exalt their mention, had daughters and that most of the children of our beloved Prophet  were daughters, namely: Zaynab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kalthoom and Fatimah. Today, if you go to hospitals, when they find out whether the foetus is male of female by doing an ultrasound scan, if it is male they tell the family, and if it is female they say nothing. *We Are not More in Jahileeyyah Period:* How similar things are today to those times of ignorance (Jahileeyyah)!.. If you visit any maternity hospital in a Muslim community, and look around at the faces of those to whom daughters have been born, listening to what they say and seeing how they are, you will see a strange similarity between many of these people and the people of the Jaahiliyyah, of whom Allaah says: وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ “

 *Why Allah did this!* -------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم If Allah (swt) did not program it in such a way that Prophet Adam & his wife (A.S) will be sent down to this earth 🌎, all of us will be born and brought up inside Jannah (Paradise). In fact, by now, everybody (human beings) will be an occupant of Paradise. The main issue is this, Paradise is of different levels, and if Allah (swt) gathered us all one day and said as from today *"Mr A and Mrs B, your apartment inside paradise will be a 1-bedroom small flat, while Mr C and Mrs D will occupy a Mansion which is as big as an estate or Presidential Villa in your country"*, all of us will say why Allah (swt) have unequally treat some of us above others. To avoid this type of complain, Allah (swt) now sent us down this earth 🌎 to work and get rewarded in accordance with our efforts. Servants of Allah!  *Have You Started?* -------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Some people have started their sitta-,shawwal (a day after Eidil Fitr). Some people will start tomorrow - In Shaa Allah. When will you start yours? I'm advising that you start your 6days fast in this month (sitta-shawwal) immediately before your body system get used to eating & drinking during the day. Yes. This will make the fasting easier for you. Besides, people who say - *"I will start next week, I will start next two weeks, I will fast sitta-shawwal when shawwal remain one week to end"* - did not have guarantee that they will end the month, and this is how shaytan will be tricking you and before you know it, the month of shawwal have ended without you fasting sitta-shawwal.. My People! The Prophet (pbuh) is reported to have said, *“Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan, and then follows it up by (fasting) six days of Shawwal, it is as if he or she has fasted the whole year.”*📚(Muslim) Here

It is said that if ALLAH loves you, HE allows you to recite dhikr often. With the exception of doing salah and reading Quran, we should try to do dhikr often. Dhikr comes in many flavors and forms especially istighfar and Salaat Alan Nabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam.  If you haven't started fasting for your Ramadhan fasting debts please makeup your mind now to start tomorrow Sunday in shaa ALLAH. A friend of mine got tired of his WIFE just about six months after wedding. He complained bitterly to me about her & told me that he has concluded to break up with her; he went on to say that he was sure that he made a mistake. I did not respond immediately because I knew I must tell him that right thing, so I went home. And that is what birth this message. Many MEN have broken up with their WIVES because they end up not being the WIVES that they have dreamt of. But they have forgotten that on their wedding day was when the man was commissioned for the new task. Nobody calls the woman WIFE on her wedding day but BRIDE, because it is the man that will GROOM his BRIDE to become the WIFE. BismilLah.  Sheitan is now back from prison like a wounded lion trying to recapture his friends he lost due to Ramadhan. Let's not make the Quran a decoration piece until next Ramadhan. Let's try our best each day to recite the Quran at least 30 minutes each day as minimum or a certain number of pages each day. We should also try to understand the meaning of what we recite by listening to tafseer. If we don't do this, then we can't understand what it is that ALLAH is trying to tell us. And of course, We should learn to live our lives with the teachings from the Quran. This is the true way to show ALLAH that we love HIM and we do everything for HIS pleasure. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for guiding and blessing us to be part of the blessed month of Ramadhan. Many Muslims couldn't fast due to genuine reasons and some ignored it without any genuine reasons. May ALLAH guide those Muslims from any satanic influences. Aameen.  It's important we don't delay any acts of worship that can get us closer to ALLAH. Those who missed any days in Ramadhan should start fasting now without delaying it unless with genuine reasons. Those who don't owe any days should start fasting the 6 recommended days in this month of Shaw'waal.  The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) explained this when he said: “Whoever fasts for six days after (Eid) al-Fitr has completed the year: (whoever does a good deed (hasanah) will have ten hasanah like it).

 *The End Of Ramaḍān* Ibn Rajab al-Ḥanbalī رحمه الله said these lines of poetry upon completion of Ramaḍān: • Oh you, who your Lord has freed from the Fire, be warned of returning to the servitude of the wretched after being freed! • Will your Lord distance you from the Fire, while you seek to become nearer to it?!  A Series of Reminders About The Month of Ramaḍān - No.41 *Conclude The Month Of Ramaḍān By Repenting To Allāh* Sh. Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn Raḥimahullāh said: "O my brothers, conclude the month of Ramaḍān by reopening to Allāh, the Exalted, from his disobedience and returning to him by doing that which pleases Him. For indeed, a person is not free from mistakes and deficiencies, as all of the children of Ādam make mistakes me the best of those who make mistakes are those who repent. Indeed, Allāh ﷻ has encouraged in His Book and the Prophet ﷺ has encouraged in his speeches, (for us) to seek forgiveness from Allāh, the Exalted, and to repent to Him, as Allāh says: [And all of you (without exception) repent to Allāh, O believers, that you may be successful.] • 24:1 ‎● [مجالس شهر رمضان ص ٢٢٩]

Ibn Abbass (ra) reported: " I participated in the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer with the Messenger of ALLAH (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), Abu Bakr (ra), Umar (ra) and Uthman (ra), and all of them held Eid prayer before Khutbah, and then the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) delivered the Khutbah (sermon). (Narrated by Imam Muslim). Who should go to the prayer ground & offer Eid Prayer: Umm Atiyah (ra) reported: "The Messenger of ALLAH (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) commanded us to bring out on Eid-al-Fitr and Eid-al-Adha, young women, hijab-observing adult women and the menstruating women. The menstruating women stayed out of actual Salaat but participated in good deeds and Duaa (supplication). I (Umm Atiyah) said to the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam): Oh! Messenger of ALLAH, one does not have an outer garment. He replied:

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Ahad. 28th day of Ramadhan, 1445AH (Sunday 7th April 2024). *_ALL WE NEED TO KNOW AND PREPARE FOR EIDUL FITIR_*. BismilLaah.    EIDUL-FITR is celebrated on the first day of Shaw'waal, at the completion of RAMADHAN, which may be Tuesday or Wednesday subject to moon sighting in Shaa ALLAH. The Eid-al-Fitr is a very joyous day; it is a true Thanksgiving Day for the believing men and women. On this day we Muslims show our real joy for the health, strength and the opportunities of life, which ALLAH has given to us to fulfill our obligation of fasting and other good deeds during the blessed month of Ramadan. Zakaatul fitir that we offer to the poor to enable them enjoy like us is to also mend any errors we made during our 29/30 days Fasting. Sunnahs of Eid day. Wake up early.  Prepare for personal cleanliness, take care of details of clothing, etc. Take a Ghusl (spiritual bath) after Fajr. Brush your teeth. Dress up, putting on best clothes available,

 The sign that our fasting in the month of Ramadan is accepted? Alhamdulillah, one of the signs to know that Allah has a accepted our fast is when we see that the sins we use to commit, we have abandon them or avoid majority of them. Allah says in Qur'an, O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed upon you as it was prescribed to those before thee that ye may learn God -fearing( Taqwa). Surah 2;183 The messenger of Allah pbuh was once sitting among his companions and was heard murmuring saying Amin three times. So they asked asked him why he was saying Amin three times. The messenger of Allah pbuh said, jibril a.s came to me and made Dua and said to me to say Amin and I said it. The first supplication was, May Allah put the nose of anyone in hellfire who find his parents alive and does not become dutiful to them so as to enter hellfire. So I said Amin. The second was that, May Allah put the nose of anyone who does not send you salawat when your name is mentioned. I said 'Amin'

 Prohibition of talking in the masjid while the imam delivers the khutbah. Alhamdulillah,.lets remind and reflect upon this Hadith and know that it is haraam to talk while the imam delivers the khutbah. As reported in Hadith, Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA):: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Whoever speaks on Friday while the Imam is giving the Khutbah (religious talk), he is like a donkey which carries books; and he whotells him to be quiet has no Jumu'ah." [Reported by Ahmad with an acceptable chain of narrators]. Bulugh ul mahram Book 2, Hadith 374. So if one talks while imam delivers the khutbah has make lagaw meaning has made the Friday prayer to dhuhr. This is what imam hanbali rahimullah said

 Zakat ul fitr and the importance of giving it out. Alhamdulillah, Zakat-ul-Fitr means the charity for breaking the fast. It is obligatory to give out before one goes to the Eid prayer. The head of the family can give it out in the name of the other members of the father. So for every member of the family, the quantity of rice or maize to be given is 3.7 kg. That is Mudd and 4mudd is equal to one sa'a. Zakat-ul-fitr is not to be given money but rather food. As the time of rasulullaah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam, the Zakatul Fitr is given in the form of food not money. As reported in Hadith, Narrated Ibn `Umar: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) made it incumbent on all the slave or free Muslims, male or female, to pay one Sa' of dates or barley as Zakat-ul-Fitr. Sahih al-Bukhari 1504 Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered (Muslims) to give one Sa' of dates or one Sa' of barley as Zakat-ul-Fitr The people rewarded two Mudds of wheat as equal to that. Sahih al-Bukha

 The prohibition of a woman to perfume herself going to masjid? Alhamdulillah, lets look at one prohibition that is taken lightly today among women which is putting perfume  As reported from the Hadith, Abu Huraira said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever (woman) fumigates herself with perfume should not join us in the 'Isha' prayer. Sahih Muslim 444  The reason for this prohibition is that q woman is not like a man and made beautiful. If she wears perfume and goes out, she will draws the attention of men and create something in their heart. So a woman who perfume is not to come to the masjid but stay at home and pray. A woman is to stay at home and pray if she perfumes herself and if she comes out and pray will have sins if with perfume. In another Hadith, It was narrated that Al-Ash'ari said: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Any woman who puts on perfume then passes by people so that they can smell her fragrance then she is an adulteress.'"  The afflictions and trials upon following the Deen of Islam. Alhamdulillah, lets remind ourselves and give ourselves patience in following the religion of islam. Allah says in Qur'an, Aal-e-Imran 3:186 You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allāh much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allāh - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of resolve. Allah s.w.t promise to test us upon following the religion and see our sincere and steadfast we will be. Allah says, Al-'Ankabut 29:2 Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried? Al-'Ankabut 29:3 But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allāh will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.  The miracle of the Qur'an on animals and their communities. Alhamdulillah, the Quran is a book is signs revealed to reflect and act upon it  Everything we need is in the Qur'an. Allah says, Al-An'am 6:37 And they say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" Say, "Indeed, Allāh is Able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know." Al-An'am 6:38 And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register[1] a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered. This Ayah was revealed to the messenger of Allah salla Allahu alayhi wasalam to tell the pagans of Makkah the Qur'an has miracle and signs and that is as we live in communities, they too live in communities and caste. *The 27th day of Ramadan.* *Speak good or remain silent* It is of high significance that if we cannot contribute and help with anything, we should just remain silent. And this can be traced back to the sunnah of the prophet ﷺ.  Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, *"He who believes in Allah and the Last Day must either speak good or remain silent."* Often, we add up to the burden of other people because we cannot govern our mouth. We add up to the problem because we cannot discipline our tongue. We add up to the chaos because we couldn't hold our words. Iyadhan billah.  We should be reminded that the Prophet ﷺ gave us this advice and its impact in our time is unmeasurably heavy. How many plans have failed because of comments that isn't helping? How many people have given up because of destructive criticisms? How many relationships were ruined by gossip? How many names and reputations were tainted because of doubts that were put

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt. 27th day of Ramadhan, 1445AH (Saturday 6th April 2024). *_LET'S KEEP SEEKING LAYLATUL QADR (Night of Power)_*. BismilLah.  So valuable is this Night of Qadr that the Quran devotes a special surah to it “Lailatul Qadr is better than a thousand months” [97:3] This one night surpasses the value of 1,000s nights. The most authentic account of the occurrence of the Night indicates that it can occur on any one of the last ten, odd numbered nights of Ramadhan.  We should strive to stay up at least some hours before fajir set in these last few days left because if we pray on these nights then surely we would have caught this most powerful night if not gone already and this would mean we would have a reward of 83 YEARS OF WORSHIP and our sins forgiven! I will never advice anyone to rely only on certain nights in worship at night else you end up missing this great night. Taraweeh, Tahajjud, Qiyaamullaiy are all sunnah with little difference between

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Jumuat. 26th day of Ramadhan, 1445AH (Friday 5th April 2024). *_LAYLATUL QADR MAY BE TONIGHT_*. BismilLah.  Are you one of those making this mistake? Many of us tend to give our maximum efforts on only the odd nights especially on the 27th night of Ramadhan, and from the 28th they relax and some may not do any act of worship believing LaylatulQadar had come and gone. That's a huge error of judgement. It may be tonight or tomorrow night so don’t relax please.  The Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam said: “I came out to tell you when Laylat al-Qadr was, and So and so and So and so were arguing, so it [the knowledge of when Laylat al-Qadr was] was taken away from me. Perhaps this is better for you...” [al-Bukhari 1919]. The fact of the matter is that no one can be certain about Laylat al-Qadr, so let's keep striving till the Moon is confirmed sighted.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 24th day of Ramadhan, 1445AH (Wednesday 3rd April 2024). *_HAVE YOU PAID YOUR ZAKAAT THIS YEAR?_* BismilLah. In summary, Zakaat is one of the five pillars of islam. It is an obligation from ALLAH upon every Muslim who possesses the minimum amount of wealth given certain conditions. This is not Zakaatul Fitir or Eidul Fitir, which we reminded each other for the past two days.  The type of wealth upon which zakat is obligatory are monetary assets, livestock, agricultural produce, merchandise. I will focus on monetary. Gold, silver, and currency. Zakaat [obligatory charity] must be paid on gold if it reaches the Nisaab [i.e. the minimum amount liable for Zakaah], which is 20 Mithqaal [a measure which equals 85 grams of pure gold, 1 Mithqaal = 4.25 grams], this means that one should pay ½ a Mithqaal as Zakaat, i.e., 2.5% of the value of gold. Zakaat must be paid on silver if it reaches the value of 200 Dirhams, which is the equivalent of 595 g

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 23rd day of Ramadhan, 1445AH (Tuesday 2nd April 2024). *_PURPOSE OF ZAKAATUL FITIR_*. Bismillah. The main purpose of Zakah al-Fitr is to provide those who fasted with the means of making up for their errors during the month of fasting. Zakah al-Fitr also provides the poor with a means with which they can celebrate the festival of breaking the fast (`Eid al-Fitr) along with the rest of the Muslims. Ibn Abbas reported, "The Prophet (peace be upon him) made Zakah al-Fitr compulsory so that those who fasted may be purified of their idle deeds and shameful talk (committed during Ramadhan) and so that the poor may be fed. Whoever gives it before Salah will have it accepted as Zakah, while he who gives it after the Salah has given Sadaqah." [Collected by Imam Abu Dawud - Eng. transl. vol. 2, p. 421, no. 1605].
