The prohibition of a woman to perfume herself going to masjid?
Alhamdulillah, lets look at one prohibition that is taken lightly today among women which is putting perfume
As reported from the Hadith,
Abu Huraira said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever (woman) fumigates herself with perfume should not join us in the 'Isha' prayer.
Sahih Muslim 444
The reason for this prohibition is that q woman is not like a man and made beautiful. If she wears perfume and goes out, she will draws the attention of men and create something in their heart.
So a woman who perfume is not to come to the masjid but stay at home and pray.
A woman is to stay at home and pray if she perfumes herself and if she comes out and pray will have sins if with perfume.
In another Hadith,
It was narrated that Al-Ash'ari said:
The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Any woman who puts on perfume then passes by people so that they can smell her fragrance then she is an adulteress.'"
Sunan an-Nasa'i 5126.
A woman is allowed to perfume with her husband to feel the fragrance from her but not everyone who has not paid for her bride price or she is not married to.
