Prohibition of talking in the masjid while the imam delivers the khutbah.

Alhamdulillah,.lets remind and reflect upon this Hadith and know that it is haraam to talk while the imam delivers the khutbah.

As reported in Hadith,

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA)::

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Whoever speaks on Friday while the Imam is giving the Khutbah (religious talk), he is like a donkey which carries books; and he whotells him to be quiet has no Jumu'ah." [Reported by Ahmad with an acceptable chain of narrators].

Bulugh ul mahram

Book 2, Hadith 374.

So if one talks while imam delivers the khutbah has make lagaw meaning has made the Friday prayer to dhuhr.
