The afflictions and trials upon following the Deen of Islam.

The afflictions and trials upon following the Deen of Islam.

Alhamdulillah, lets remind ourselves and give ourselves patience in following the religion of islam.

Allah says in Qur'an,

Aal-e-Imran 3:186

You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allāh much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allāh - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of resolve.

Allah s.w.t promise to test us upon following the religion and see our sincere and steadfast we will be.

Allah says,

Al-'Ankabut 29:2

Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried?

Al-'Ankabut 29:3

But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allāh will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.

So those before us were tested and Allah removed among them who were indeed believers and the hypocrites.

Allah says in Qur'an,

Aal-e-Imran 3:141

And that Allāh may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers.

Allah s.w.t wants to purify the believers through trials.

Whatever trials befalls us, it is used to cleanse some of our sins.

This Deen is not only believing and not seeing afflictions.

That is not how Allah s.w.t wishes but we will see trials from all angles of life.

As reported from Hadith,

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “The believer is like a plant which is continually swayed by the wind, for the believer is continually afflicted by trial but the hypocrite is like a cedar tree which does not shake till it is cut down.” (Bukharl and Muslim.).

The trial we face as believers is like a plant that is swayed and the wind blows it gradually until it becomes straiten and steadfast but that of an hypocrite or disbeliever is like a tree that is at straight and when a wind blows it breaks it.

The prophet peace be upon him and his companions were tested in all cycle of life that they used to ask when is the help of Allah coming to us.

Look at Bilal, amar ibn Yasir r.a and how many afflictions they went because they were Muslims.

May Allah grants us patience to every trial to befall us. Aamin

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

Person, Munkar and Nakir As reported in hadith, It was narrated form Al Bara bin Azib that the Prophet said: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the world that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter. This was revelated concerning the torment in the grave. It will be said to him (the deceased: 'Who is your Lord?' and he will say: 'My Lord isAllah and my Prophet is Muhammad. That is what is (the meaning of) His saying: Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world, and in the Hereafter". Sunan an-Nasa'i 2057. Abd Allah (b. Mas’ud) told that when the evening came, the prophet (May peace be upon him) would say: we have come to the evening, and in the evening the dominion belongs to Allah: “Praise b...
