The danger of the tongue.

 The danger of the tongue.

Alhamdulillah, lets be cautious of what we say with our tongue

As reported in Hadith,

Narrated `Abdullah:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. And a man keeps on telling the truth until he becomes a truthful person. Falsehood leads to Al-Fajur (i.e. wickedness, evil-doing), and Al-Fajur (wickedness) leads to the (Hell) Fire, and a man may keep on telling lies till he is written before Allah, a liar.""

Sahih al-Bukhari 6094.

In another hadith,

Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri narrated (that the Prophet s.a.w) said:

When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue andsay: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked."

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2407.

Sahl bin Sa'd narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:

Whoever guarantees for me what is between his jaws and what is between his legs, I shall guarantee Paradise forhim."

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2408.

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari:

that the Prophet (ﷺ) was asked: "Which of the Muslims is most virtuous?" He said: "The one from (the harm of) whose tongue and hand (other) Muslims are safe.""

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2628.
