Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 71:

He [Musa (Moses)] said, "He says, 'It is a cow neither trained to till the soil nor water the fields, sound, having no other colour except bright yellow.' " They said, "Now you have brought the truth." So they slaughtered it though they were near to not doing it.

'Umar bin Al-Khattab was shown wearing a shirt that he was dragging." The people asked, "How did you interpret it? (What is its interpretation) O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" He (the Prophet (ﷺ) ) replied, "It is the Religion."

[06/03 3:44 am] +234 803 801 4834: ‎25 *Ways to Enter Jannah* *(Paradise).*

We all want to enter Jannah but, are we sincerely striving for it? There are multiple ways to attain the pleasure of Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) and enter His Jannah. Allah(Sub-haanahu wata'aala) has made it easy for us to enter His Jannah but some of us forget this due to an ‘attachment’ to this temporary worldly life!

The following are some hadiths which will show us 25 ways or good deeds to enter the Jannah. Remember, these are not the ‘only’ 25 ways to enter Jannah and there should be ‘sincerity’ and ‘consistency’ in these acts to get Jannat-ul-Firdause (the highest level in Jannah) InshaAllah!

1. Whoever meets Allah without ascribing anything to Him will enter Jannah. *(Sahih al-Bukhari)*

2. Whoever believes (has Imaan) in Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), and establishes the prayer and fasts in the month of Ramadan, it is incumbent upon Allah that He enters him in Jannah. *(Sahih al-Bukhari).*

3. Whoever says: “I am pleased with Allah as my Rabb, and with Islam as my Deen, and with Muhammad (peace be upon him) as my Prophet, Jannah would be mandatory for him. *(Sunan Abu Dawud).*

4. Whoever asks Allah for Jannah three times, Jannah will say: “O Allah, enter him into Jannah.” *(Jami` at-Tirmidhi).*

5. Whoever says “SubhanAllah al-Adthim wa Bihamdihi (Glorified and Exalted is Allah, The Great, and with His Praise), a date-palm tree will be planted for him in Jannah. *(Jami` at-Tirmidhi).*

6. Allah has Ninety Nine Names, one hundred minus one, and whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter Jannah. *(Sahih al-Bukhari)*

7. Indeed, truthfulness leads to righteousness and indeed righteousness leads to Jannah. *(Sahih al-Bukhari).*

8. Whoever builds a Masjid seeking by it the Pleasure of Allah, Allah will build for him a similar place in Jannah. *(Sahih al-Bukhari).*

9. Whoever repeats after the Mu’adthin (the caller to prayer) from his heart (i.e., sincerely) will enter Jannah. *(Sunan an-Nasa’i).*

10. Whoever calls the Adhan for twelve years, Jannah will become mandatory for him. *(Sunan Ibn Majah).*

11. Whoever prays the two cool prayers (Asr and Fajr) will go to Paradise. *(Sahih al-Bukhari).*

12. Allah will prepare for him who goes to the Masjid (Mosque) every morning and in the afternoon (for the congregational prayer), an honourable place in Paradise with good hospitality for (what he has done) every morning and afternoon goings. *(Sahih al-Bukhari).*

13. Any one performs the ablution perfectly and then offers 2 rak’ats of prayers concentrating on them with his heart and face, paradise will necessarily fall to his lot. *(Sunan Abu Dawud).*

14. Whoever prays 12 Rak’ats in the day and night, a house in Jannah will be built for him. *(Sunan an-Nasa’i)*
2 before Fajr
4 before Zuhur & 2 after Zuhur
2 after Magrib
2 after Isha

15. Whoever takes a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the path to Jannah. *(Jami` at-Tirmidhi).*

16. Anyone going to visit and greet the sick person, he is walking in the path of Jannah till he comes back. *(Sahih Muslim)*

17. Whoever can guarantee (the chastity of) what is between his two jaw-bones and what is between his two legs (i.e. his tongue and his private parts), I guarantee Paradise for him. *(Sahih al-Bukhari).*

18. Anyone whose soul leaves his body and he is free of three things, will enter Jannah: Arrogance, stealing from the spoils of war, and debt. *(Sunan Ibn Majah).*

19. Whoever raises two girls then I and he will enter Jannah like these two (Prophet indicated with his two fingers). *(Jami` at-Tirmidhi).*

20. Whoever visits an ailing person or a brother of his to seek the Pleasure of Allah, an announcer (angel) calls out: “May you be happy, may your walking be blessed, and may you be awarded a dignified position in Jannah”. *(Jami` at-Tirmidhi).*

21. Allah guarantees him who strives in His Cause and whose motivation for going out is nothing but Jihad in His Cause and belief in His Word, that He will admit him into Jannah. *(Sahih al-Bukhari).*

22. O people, spread the Salaam (greetings), feed the hungry, and pray while the people are asleep, you will enter Jannah in peace. *(Sunan Ibn Majah).*

23. (The performance of) Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous Umrah; and the reward of Hajj Mabrur (i.e., one accepted) is nothing but Jannah. *(Sahih al-Bukhari).*

24. Whosoever last words are:
*LA ILAHA ILLALLAH*
will enter Paradise. *(Sunan Abu Dawud).*

25. Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: If somebody recites this invocation (given below) during the day, and if he should die then, he will be from the people of Jannah. And if he recites it in the night, and if he should die on the same day, he will be from the people of Jannah.” *(Jami` at-Tirmidhi).*

*O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I committed. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.*

[06/03 3:45 am] +234 803 801 4834: A reality we must face.

_Imām Ibn Qudāmah -rahimahullāh-_
Said:

Know verily that, if a servant should look deeply, he will see that everyone has been blessed and singled out with some certain blessings Which are not found with others. Though, some may share with him in that regard like the intellect. Therefore, no one except he is pleased with Allāh Ta'āla regarding the blessing of intellect, and servant sees himself as the most sensible person. And hardly would one find people asking Allāh for intellect, and if that is the case, then it is compulsory for a servant to show gratitude to Allāh on the grace of intellect.

And of it is the creation, for there is no servant except he views errors and imperfections regarding others which he dislikes, and some manners which he detests, and he considers himself free from those shortcomings. Therefore, he should be grateful to Allāh Ta'āla for bestowing upon him good manners.

And of it is that, everyone knows his hidden affairs, errors and weakness. If those errors were to be known by others, he will certainly be ashamed of them. Then why should one not show gratitude to Allāh for keeping one's defects in secret and unveiling the good qualities?.

In addition, let's take a wider example. No one except Allāh Has blessed him in his stature, manners, family, children, household, land, friends, relatives, position. If he were to be deprived of those blessings and given to someone else, he would surely not be pleased with it.

For example, For Allāh to make a believer not a kāfir, a living being not an object, a human not an animal, a man not a woman or a woman not a man, a healthy person not a sick one, a complete one not a defect one, and the likes.

Allāhu A'alam! Bārakallāhu fīkum!
[06/03 3:46 am] +234 803 801 4834: Jahannam (Part 12)

The food of the people of Hell

The Tree of Zaqqum

"Is that [Paradise] the better entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum [a horrible tree in Hell]? For We have truly made it [as] a trial for the wrongdoers. For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hellfire, The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils; Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. Then on top of that they will be given to drink a mixture made of boiling water. Then, shall their return by to the blazing Fire of Hell". (37:62-68)

Elsewhere in the Qur'an, Allah (Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala) says:

"Then, will you truly - O you that go wrong, and treat [Truth] as Falsehood]! You will surely taste of the tree of Zaqqum. Then you will fill your insides therewith, and drink boiling water on top of it. Indeed you will drink like diseased camels raging with thirst! Such will be their entertainment on the Day of Requital !"(56:51-66)

What we may understand from these aayaat is that this tree is a repulsive tree, whose roots go deep into the bottom of Hell, and whose branches stretch forth all over. Its fruits are so ugly that they are likened to the heads of devils, so that everyone may easily understand just how ugly they are, even though they have never seen them. Although this tree is so vile and obnoxious, the people of Hell will become so hungry that they will have no choice but to eat from it until they are full. When they have filled their bellies, this food will start to churn like boiling oil, which will cause a great deal of suffering to them. At that point they will rush to drink al-Hameem, which is an extremely hot water, and they will drink it like camels that drink and drink but their thirst is never quenched because of some disease. Then it will tear their innards:

"..[they] will be given to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels [to pieces ]" (47:15)

This is the hospitality that will be offered to them on that awesome Day. May Allah (Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala) protect us from this by His Grace and Mercy.

The Prophet (Salallaahu Alaihi Wasalaam) portrayed for us the ugly and terrifying nature of az-Zaqqum:

"If one drop from az-Zaqqum were to land on this world, the people of earth and all their means of sustenance would be destroyed. So how must it be for the one who must eat it ?" It was reported by at-Tirmidhi, who said, it is a sahih hasan hadith. [Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh, 3/105, narrated by Ibn 'Abbaas]

Another kind of food that will be eaten by the people of Hell is al-Ghasleen. Allah (Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala) says:

" So no friend has he here this Day, Nor has he any food except corruption [or filth] from the washing of wounds [al-Ghasleen], which none do eat but those in sin ". (69:35-37)

"And keep reminding, because reminding benefits the believers."(51:55)

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
