_First Hadīth Of The Day_
Narrated Abu Wail: `Abdullah used to give a religious talk to the people on every Thursday. Once a man said, "O Aba `Abdur-Rahman! (By Allah) I wish if you could preach us daily." He replied, "The only thing which prevents me from doing so, is that I hate to bore you, and no doubt I take care of you in preaching by selecting a suitable time just as the Prophet (ﷺ) used to do with us, for fear of making us bored."

🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴+234 8034148158: Jannah (Part 10)
The Delights of the People of Paradise: The Superiority of Paradise Over the Pleasures of This World
The pleasures of this world are tangible and present, whilst the delights of Paradise are as-yet unseen promises. People are readily influenced by what they can see and know instantly; it is hard enough for them to forgo something that is in front of them for the sake of something else that is in the future, so how much harder it is if the promise will not be attained until after death! So Allah (Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala) drew a comparison between the pleasures of this world and the joys of Paradise, and explained that the delights of Paradise are far superior to this world's pleasures. The Qur'an speaks at length denouncing this world of instant, fleeting pleasures and stating that the rewards with Allah as far better, to encourage man to strive hard for success in the next world:
" And strain not your eyes in longing for the things We have given them for enjoyment to various groups of them [mushrikeen and kuffaar] the splendour of this life that We may test them thereby. But the provision [good reward in the Hereafter] of your Rabb is better and more lasting " [20:131]
And " Beautified for men is the love of things they covet: women, children, much of gold and silver [wealth], branded beautiful horses, cattle and well-tilled land. This is the pleasure of the present world's life but Allah has the excellent return with Him. Say: "Shall I inform you of things far better than those? For al-Muttaqoon there are Gardens with their Rabb, under which rivers flow. Therein [is their] eternal [home] and Azwaajun mutahharatun [purified mates or wives], and Allah will be pleased with them. And Allah is All-Seer of [His] Slaves" [3:14-15]
There are many reasons why the delights of Paradise are superior to the pleasures of this dunyaa; Amongst them:
1⃣The Pleasures of this Dunyaa are Fleeting:
" Say: Short is the enjoyment of this world. The Hereafter is [far] better for him who fears Allah." [4:77]
The Prophet (Salallaahu Alaihi Wasalaam) illustrated the inferiority of this dunyaa by comparing it to what Allah has prepared in Paradise, " By Allah, this world in comparison with the Hereafter is nothing more than as if one of you put his finger" - and he gestured with his forefinger - "in the sea; let him see how much water he would retrieve"[Saheeh Muslim, 4/2193, no. 2858]. A finger dipped in the ocean would not even pick up one drop; this is how little this world is worth when compared with the Aakhirah.
Because these pleasures are so insignificant, Allah (Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala) has rebuked those who prefer the pleasures of this world to the joys of the Aakhirah:
" O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that when you are asked to go forth in the Cause of Allah [Jihaad] you cling heavily to this earth? Do you prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter " [9:38]
"And keep reminding, because reminding benefits the believers."(51:55)+234 8034148158: *_WHAT ARE THE DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY and YEARLY ACTS of WORSHIP in ISLAM?_*
Firstly, The topic of acts of worship and obedience is very broad, and there is no room to discuss it in full here but will just summarize it as follows:
The daily acts of worship include the five daily prayers and doing wuduu for them; using the miswaak when doing wuduu and praying; praying in congregation (jamaa‘ah); the regular Sunnah prayers, Duha prayer, qiyaam al-layl (voluntary prayers at night); Witr prayer; the adhkaar for morning and evening; adhkaar to be recited by day and by night (when entering and leaving the home, when entering and leaving the mosque, when entering and leaving the washroom, when eating and drinking, following the prescribed prayers, and so on); repeating after the mu’adhdhin etc.
The weekly acts of worship include Jumu‘ah prayer; reading Suurat al-Kahf on the night before Friday and on Friday; sending a lot of blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on the night before Friday and on Friday; fasting on Mondays and Thursdays.
Monthly acts of worship include fasting three days of every month (and it is preferable for that to be on al-ayaam al-beed, i.e., the 13th, 14th and 15th of the Hijri month).
Annual or occasional acts of worship include: fasting in Ramadan; praying Taraweeh in congregation in the mosque; offering the Eid prayers; Hajj for those who are able to do so; giving zakaah for those for whom the conditions of it being obligatory are fulfilled; spending the last ten days of Ramadan in i‘tikaaf; fasting six days of Shawwaal; fasting ‘Ashoora’ and a day before it or after it; fasting the day of ‘Arafah; doing a lot of good deeds in the first ten days of Dhu’l-Hijjah.
There are also deeds that are not connected to a particular time, so they are prescribed at all times, including deeds of the heart as well as physical actions. These include: offering voluntary prayers, observing voluntary fasts; ‘umrah; remembering ALLAH (dhikr); reading Qur’an; sending blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him); supplication (du‘aa’); honouring one’s parents; upholding ties of kinship; giving charity; spreading the greeting of salaam (peace) among the Muslims; having a good attitude; controlling one’s tongue; loving ALLAH, fearing HIM and putting one’s hopes in HIM; putting one’s trust in HIM; contentment; certainty of faith; seeking HIS help, may HE be glorified and exalted. Remember today is Friday as such we should remember to prepare well for it.
May ALLAH (Al-haadi, The Guide) keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.+234 8034148158: *_DUA WHEN ENTERING AN EMPTY or VACANT HOME_*.
Abdullah ibn Umar (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: When someone enters a vacant home, he should say, “As-Salaamu ‘Alaynaa wa ‘Alaa ‘Ibaad-Allah-is-Saliheen” (“Peace be upon us and on the righteous salves of Allah.”). Collected by Bukhari in Adabul Mufrad 1055].
Sheikh Al-Albani (may Allah rest him in Jannah) said, “This narration establishes an Islamic regulation for entering a vacant house. This practice coincides with the order of spreading salaams found in some authentic hadeeth. Furthermore this agrees with the verse, “When you enter your houses greet one another with: As-Salaamu Alaikum…[ An-Nur 61].
Therefore based on this verse and narration from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) Ibn Hajr held it was recommended to say, “Peace be upon us and on the righteous salves of ALLAH, when entering an empty house as well.
The Hadeeth for saying, BismilLah (In the name of ALLAH)”, when entering the home is authentic on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him). It is collected in Muslim. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,”
“If a man enters his home and says” in the name of ALLAH ” and before he eats, Shaytan says to his Jinn ,” You can’t stay there tonight and you can’t eat there as well.” [ Muslim 5381]. So in summary it's important we say before entering our own home "BismilLah, As-Salaamu ‘Alaynaa wa ‘Alaa ‘Ibaad-Allah-is-Saliheen. If you are entering someone's house or your house with people inside, you still knock with Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatulah then upon response you enter with BismilLah.
AlhamdulilLah for guiding us in all angles of life. Please remember today is Friday as such we should remember to prepare well for it.
May ALLAH (Al-Haadi, The Guide) keep guiding us all. Aameen.

Aameen.
