After this it is ye, the same people, who slay among yourselves, and banish a party of you from their homes; assist (Their enemies) against them, in guilt and rancour; and if they come to you as captives, ye ransom them, though it was not lawful for you to banish them. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? but what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life?- and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.

The People of Paradise:

The Deeds for Which People Will Deserve to Enter Paradise

The people of Paradise are the believers and strict monotheists. All those who associate others with Allah or disbelieve in Him, or deny any of the principles of faith will not be allowed to enter Paradise. Their destination will be Hellfire.

The Qur'an often states that the people of Paradise are the believers who do righteous deeds, to quote one of many examples:

" But whoever comes to Him as a believer [in tawheed] and has done righteous good deeds, for such are the high ranks [in the Hereafter] - 'Adn [Eden] Paradise [everlasting gardens [under which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever: such is the reward of those who purify themselves". [20:75-76]

1⃣Believers may earn Paradise through their eemaan and Islaam:

" My worshippers! No fear shall be on you this Day, nor shall you grieve - [you] who believed in Our aayaat and were Muslims, enter Paradise you and your wives in happiness" [43:68-70]

2⃣ Or because they were sincere in their devotion to Allah:

" Save the chosen slaves of Allah [al-Mukhliseen]. For them there will be a known provision, fruits and they shall be honoured, in the gardens of delight." [37:40-43]

3⃣Or for the strength of their relationship with Allah, their longing for Him and worship of Him:

" Only those who believe in our aayaat who, when they are reminded of them fall down prostrate, and glorify the praises of their rabb, and they are not proud. Their sides forsake their beds, to invoke their Rabb in fear and hope, and they spend [charity in Allah's Cause] out of what We have bestowed on them" . [32:15-16]

4⃣Or for their patience and reliance upon Allah:

".. Excellent is the reward of the workers, those who are patient and put their trust [only] in their Rabb" [29:58-59]

5⃣Or for their steadfastness in faith:

" Verily those who say "Our Rabb is Allah" and remain firm [on that path], on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. Such shall be the Companions of the Garden dwelling therein: a recompense for their good deeds" . [46:13-14]

6⃣Or for their humility:

" Verily those who believe and do righteous deeds and humble themselves [in repentance and obedience] before their Rabb - they will be dwellers of Paradise to dwell therein forever" [11:23]

7⃣Or for their fear of Allah:

"But for him who fears standing before his Rabb there will be two Gardens " [55:46]

8⃣Or for their hatred of the kuffaar and mushrikeen and their refusal to befriend them:

" You will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allah and His messenger, even though they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred [people]. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with Ruh [proof, light and guidance] from Himself. And We will admit them to Gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein [forever]. Allah is pleased with them and they with Him" . [58:22]

Some aayaat discuss in detail the righteous deeds for which a person may deserve Paradise; for example, Surah ar-Ra'd states:

" But it is only the men of understanding who pay heed, those who fulfill the Covenant of Allah and break not the mithaaq, those who join that which Allah has commanded to be joined, [i.e. good to relatives and not severing the ties of kinship], fear their Rabb and dread the terrible reckoning, and those who remain patient, seeking their Rabb's Countenance, perform as-Salaat, and spend out of that which We have bestowed on them, secretly and openly, and defend evil with good, for such there is a good end 'Adn [Eden] Paradise which they shall enter and [also] those who acted righteously from among their fathers and their wives, and their offspring. And angels shall enter unto them from every gate [saying] Salaamun ''alaykum for that you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final home!" [13:19-24]

And at the beginning of Surah al-Mu'minoon, Allah explains that success is for the believers and then described the deeds that will qualify them for success:

" Successful indeed are the believers, those who offer their salaah with khushoo', and those who turn away from al-laghw [dirty, false, evil, vain talk, falsehood and all that Allah has forbidden], and those who pay the zakah, and those who guard their chastity, except from their wives or those whom their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; but whoever seeks beyond that then those are the transgressors; those who are faithfully true to their amaanah [all duties that Allah has ordained: honesty, moral responsibility, and trusts] and to their covenants and those who strictly guard their prayers [at the fixed times]. These are indeed the inheritors who shall inherit al-Firdaws. They shall dwell therein forever" [23:11]

The Prophet (Salallaahu Alaihi Wasalaam) also said, " The people of Paradise are three: a ruler who is fair and just; a man who is compassionate and gentle towards every relative and Muslim; and a man with a large family who is proud and does not beg" [Muslim, see Sharh an-Nawawi 'alaa Muslim, 17/198]

"And keep reminding, because reminding benefits the believers."(51:55)+234 8034148158: STUDYING AND IMPLEMENTING THE CHARACTERS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM), YOUR HEART WILL FIND PEACE

How would you retaliate meeting the man who murdered your relative, The person killed and cut out your uncle organs and gave it to someone to eat, can you forgive him?. Imagine being abused and taunted, and when given the chance to retaliate, instead you forgive. This was the Messenger of ALLAH Ta’aala (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), a man described as “an excellent exemplar for those who hope in ALLAH and the Last Day” [Quran, Chapter 33, Surat al-Ahzab, 33:21].
Many of us cannot forgive our parents or friends or spouses when they say hurtful things in anger. We hold grudges for years, unable to forget the things people have done to us. On the one hand, we feel justified in feeling this way. After all, we are the ones wronged isn't it?. On the other, bottling things up inside is unhealthy at the very least, on both a spiritual and psychological level.
It is natural to be upset at someone when they’ve hurt you. The Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) told us that a Muslim is not allowed to break off ties with another Muslim for more than 3 days, recognizing that we need time to cool off. Yet what is unhealthy, and often destructive, is the inability to forgive and move on. Do we then expect Allah to forgive us for our sins and grant us Jannat?

So what does forgiving actually mean In Islam? It means not carrying a grudge in your heart against that person. Forgiving means that if you were given the chance to retaliate, you would choose not to by seeking ALLAH'S rewards. Forgiving means not wishing evil, even if secretly, upon the person. It means you can continue to be civil towards them, and that you can even bring yourself to pray for their well-being and guidance seeking the Angels to pray for you as the prophet assured us if we do to others.
However, forgiveness does not mean that you cannot learn from the trial. It doesn’t mean that the person did not do wrong, nor does it justify what they did. If you trusted someone and they betrayed your trust, forgiveness does not mean that you have to trust them again if they haven’t given you reason to. You are able to treat them well, without resentment in your heart, but if you learned something about their character, you should keep that in mind when dealing with them.
So how can we benefit from forgiving others? How can this help us to be productive Muslims? Watch out for tomorrow's reminder in Shaa ALLAH. May ALLAH (Al-Haadi, The Guide) keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
[20/03 3:30 am] +234 803 801 4834: THE ULTIMATE HOPE IN ISLAM TO BE PROUD OF

There is a very strong and beautiful message in the Quran among many is in Suurat Al-Kahf that sometimes we forget to ponder.

The message is in this verse:
“Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one’s] hope.” (Qur’an 18: 46)
Many of us spend majority of our time and attention in this life working on those two aspects: accumulating money and raising children. Almost everything in life revolves around those two things.

For many people, the measure of one’s success is his job and how much money he has. If you meet someone that you haven’t met in a long time, you’ll probably get asked “so where are you working now? How is the job?” Or even more bluntly, “How is the pay? :).

If you are a woman and you meet a friend or a family member you haven’t seen in a long time, you’ll probably get asked “So did you get married? What does your husband do? Do you have kids? How many? Etc” We put so much emphasis on these aspects as if they’re the only measure of one’s success.

You’ll hardly meet someone who asks you, “so how is your eemaan  with Allah? How is your dhikr (remembrance of Allah)? Are you engaged in any community work that I could join too? How is the Qur’an with you? Are there any good deen lectures or gatherings you’re attending that I could attend too? Etc” You hardly hear anyone asking such questions.

This rarely happens because most of us are more focused on what is temporary than what ALLAH told us is better and everlasting.

This may be why it is a great aspect of this deen that we are encouraged to read Suurat Al Kahf every single week, every Friday so that we can get a reality check and put our minds and hearts back on the right track.

There is an interesting story regarding this. There is this great and pious sister who hasn’t gotten married yet, while most of her counterparts are married with children she said. She was visiting her family members one Thursday when she was hit with a wave of sadness and negativity because of how everyone made her feel. They were complimenting and referring to the success and blessings of other ladies in the family who now have great luxurious homes with their husbands and really cute kids. The entire setting and insinuations kept reminding her that she may be a failure or that others are more blessed than her. This made her heart really heavy and she started dwelling in sadness.

Next morning it was Friday and like she always does, she started the day by reading Suurat Al Khaf. She reads the Suurah every Friday, but she said that this time, it hit her the most. It was as if ALLAH was directly speaking to her. Allah says to the nearest meaning:
“Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one’s] hope”

The verse hit her so hard that she started crying…Allahu Akbar.

All the people she was with the previous day were only praising and glorifying those who have wealth and children.

ALLAH reminded her that this is nothing but a temporary adornment that won’t really benefit their owners if they weren’t directed for the sake of ALLAH, and that what is better and more everlasting is one’s good deeds and dhikr of ALLAH.

The reality is, wealth and children in-and of- themselves are not a sign of success. Rather they are a test. ALLAH is The One who gave them to certain people in the first place as a test. How we manage these wealth is key to our success bcs these wealth may be a source of Paradise or Hellfire. May ALLAH (Al-Haadi, The Guide) keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
