Allah ﷻ says

*وَمِنَ اللَّيلِ فَاسْجُدْ لَهُ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلاً طَوِيلاً*

_And during the night, prostrate yourself to Him, and glorify Him a long night through._

[76:26]

_

Narrated in Al Bukhari 

Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه narrated the Prophet ﷺ said _"Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: "Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?"_

[Sahih al-Bukhari 1145]

If you are seeking provision in the Dunya, as long as it is not contradicting your Deen...

Make Sujood to Allah in *Tahajjud!*

Make Sujood with sincerity in the dark hours of the night, where nobody except Al Baseer and As Samee' and Al 'Aleem can see you!

_

If you are seeking forgiveness,

Then remember the Ayah of Allah ﷻ 

*وَ مَنْ يَغْفِرُ الذُنُوبَ اِلَّا الله*

_And who will forgive all sins except Allah ﷻ_

[3:136]

_

Make Sujood and seek the forgiveness of Allah ﷻ! 

And Allah ﷻ says 

*لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَّحْمَةِ الله*

_Do not despair in the mercy of Allah_

[39:53]

And make Sujood and engage in worship and beg for his Rahma and forgiveness!

And the one who asks will surely be granted.

_

And if you feel low and down and depressed and nothing is going your way! 

Call upon Allah ﷻ in the position in which you are closest to Him ﷻ! 

*Sujood!*

As Allah ﷻ says 

*اَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ*

_Surely with the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest!_

[13:28]

_

And who else will provide, forgive and aid you, except Allah ﷻ! 

While those around you are temporary and will disappear and perish,

Allah ﷻ is eternal and ever-lasting...

And therefore the only one worthy of worship and reliance! 

_

And what else is the Du'a Tahajjud except the Arrow that doesn't miss its mark? 

_

What else is the Tahajjud except the best of voluntary prayers? 

_

What else is the Tahajjud except your means of becoming closer to Allah ﷻ? 

_

What else is Tahajjud except the bringer of Allah ﷻ pleasure and mercy on His slave? 

_

*سبحان الله*

_

May Allah grant us the Tawfeeq to be amongst those few who stand the nights in prayer while others are sleeping.
