THE REALITY OF DEATH

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat. 15th day of Shaw'waal, 1444AH (Friday, 5th May, 2023).

*_THE REALITY OF DEATH_*. Bismillah.


ALLAH says in the Qur’an:

"Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is saved away from the fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing)."

(Qur'an Al-Imran 3:185). Is this verse not enough for us to fear this life?


We should exert all efforts in attaining Paradise and pay great attention to avoiding prohibitions and deeds, which may inevitably lead us to Hell.

ALLAH says

"Say: Verily, the death from which you flee will surely meet you, then you will be sent back to (ALLAH), the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, and HE will tell you what you used to do."(Qur'an 21:34). I'm certain each of us knows about all these but it's just a reminder as reminders only help believers so let's ponder on death always and live our lives as if we only have few minutes to depart to our graves. The big house we are building, the big cars, the fat certificates etc are all useless if obedience and worship of ALLAH is not our main focus in life. Be wise and never build your house on a desert knowing the Storm is on it's way. A word to the wise is enough the wise says.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
