FRIDAY SERIES *

*FRIDAY SERIES *🌸 by Asma bint Shameem 🌿 *Yet another Friday* 🌿 So…. It’s another Friday. We will perform ghusl. We will attend the Jumu’ah prayer. We will read Surah al-Kahf. Then, before we know it, it will be another Friday. Time is flying. It seems like yesterday but a whole week has passed since last Friday. Similar is our life. Hours turn into days. Days turn into weeks. Weeks turn into months. And months turn into years. *BLINK*... *Before we know it, our time is up.* Yes that’s right. Just like that. In a flash of a second.  🍃al-Hasan al-Basree said: “Son of Adam! You are nothing but a number of days. With each passing day a part of you has also gone.” 🍃And he also said: "The world is but three days: As for yesterday, it has vanished along with all that was in it. As for tomorrow, you may never see it. As for today, it is yours, so *work* on it." 📌*Ask yourself this:* 🔺*How did I spend my time from last Friday to today?* 🔺*Have I improved my relationship with

SIGNS OF ALLAH WITHIN US

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 1st day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Friday, 4th October 2024). *_SIGNS OF ALLAH WITHIN US_*. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week. We human beings must appreciate our Creator for what HE has done for us. To appreciate ALLAH, our CREATOR. We must learn more of HIS signs around us or within us. Wait till you lose one of your eyes, legs, hands etc to know and appreciate ALLAH more.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 30:21 going And among HIS signs is that HE created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and HE placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who give thought. ALLAH says وَمِنْ ءَايَـتِهِ (And among HIS signs), which speak of HIS

The dignity of friday.

The dignity of friday.  Alhamdulillah, lets praise and thank Allah for making us witness this day.  Friday is the best day of the week.  Allah says,  Al-Jumu'ah 62:9 O you who have believed, when [the adhān] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumuʿah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allāh and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. As reported in hadith,  Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he wasmade to enter Paradise, on it he. was expelled from it. Sahih Muslim 854. As in another Hadith, Abu Huraira reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created. on it he wasmade to enter Paradise, on it he was expelled from it. And the last hour will take place on no day other than Friday. Sahih Muslim 854 b.  It is sunnah to bath ghusl and chew siwak and wear the best apparel for jum'

*Learn from Hafsah* [[--Second Outing--]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Hafsah (r.a.) was the daughter of Umar ibn al-Khattab (ra). Became widow after the death of her husband. Her father (Umar ibn al-Khattab) felt sad when Abubakr and Uthman (ra) turned down his request to marry Hafsah.. Umar ibn al-Khattab rushed down to report them to the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The Prophet smiled😊, and said, *"Hafsah will marry one better than Abubakr and Uthman"* My People! Every challenges of life can be a very hard nuts to crack and serve as disappointments, but in Islam, every disappointments is truly a blessing in disguise. Servants of Allah! You lost your spouse either through divorce or death, you lost your relationship which you think will result to marriage, you lost your job or something so dearest to you, etc etc.... All these happened for good reasons and will always be a blessing in disguise, BUT if (1) you believe sincerely in Allah (2)

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about True Dreams

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about True Dreams Narrated `Aisha (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said (to me), "You were shown to me in a dream. An angel brought you to me, wrapped in a piece of silken cloth, and said to me, 'This is your wife.' I removed the piece of cloth from your face, and there you were. I said to myself. 'If it is from Allah, then it will surely be.'" (Sahih al-Bukhari 5125, Book 67, Hadith 61) This is such an inspiring Hadith that shows the amazing dream of the Prophet (SAW) where he saw his future wife.

WE ARE STRANGERS OR VISITORS ON EARTH, LETS STRIVE TO RETURN TO OUR CREATOR NOT TO SATAN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-Khamis, 30th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Thursday, 3rd October 2024). *_WE ARE STRANGERS OR VISITORS ON EARTH, LETS STRIVE TO RETURN TO OUR CREATOR NOT TO SATAN_*. BismilLah.  We all know that we are on earth like a visitor travelling , so let's not waste our time knowing we will soon continue our journey to our final abode. We were created weak and will return to account to ALLAH. The longer the son of Adam lives, the more he becomes weak after being strong and incapable after being able and active.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 36:68 وَمَنْ نُعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي الْخَلْقِ And he whom ALLAH grant long life, ALLAH reverse him in creation. This is like the Ayah: اللَّهُ الَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ مِّن ضَعْفٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ ضَعْفٍ قُوَّةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ ضَعْفاً وَشَيْبَةً يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَأءُ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْقَدِيرُ ALLAH is HE WHO created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strengt

*Learn from Hafsah* [[--- First Outing ---]] ------------------------------ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Hafsah (r.a.) was the daughter of Umar ibn al-Khattab (r.a.). She had been married to someone else, but was widowed at age eighteen. Umar asked both Abu Bakr and Uthman, 1 by 1 if they would like to marry her, but they both declined😳. Yes, because they knew that the Prophet had expressed an interest in marrying her. When Umar went to the Prophet (pbuh) to complain about their behavior, the Prophet smiled😊, and said, *"Hafsah will marry one better than Abubakr and Uthman"*. Umar was startled and then realized that it was the Prophet was asking for her hand in marriage. He was overcome with delight. They were married just after the battle of Badr, when Hafsah was about twenty years old and the Prophet as fifty-six. LESSONS: *Every disappointment a blessing* Life is all about give and take, this is the natural course of the earth which we have no power over. Life as it is and al

What to say when imam makes mistake in solaah.

What to say when imam makes mistake in solaah.  Alhamdulillah, what the imam makes mistake in solaah like adding or reducing a raka'ah or seated rather than making the tashshahud out of forgetfulness, one is to alert to imqm saying subhan Allah for males and for women is clapping the hands.  As reported,  Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d As-Sa`idi: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to establish peace among Bani `Amr bin `Auf. In the meantime the time of prayer was due and the Mu'adh-dhin went to Abu Bakr and said, "Will you lead the prayer, so that I may pronounce the Iqama?" Abu Bakr replied in the affirmative and led the prayer. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came while the people were still praying and he entered the rows of the praying people till he stood in the (first row). The people clapped their hands. Abu Bakr never glanced sideways in his prayer but when the people continued clapping, Abu Bakr looked and saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) beckoned him

Does rebuttals causes the Ummah to split?

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 29th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Wednesday, 2nd October 2024). *_Does rebuttals causes the Ummah to split?_*. BismilLah. Refutations are of two types, those done by the people of knowledge, learning and insight, to clarify the truth and refute falsehood, these are beneficial and essential and shouldn't cause any split of the ummah. As for the refutations which emanate from the ignorant and students like us who are not well-versed, or the refutations that emanate from desires and [particular] inclinations, then these refutations are not allowed because they harm and do not benefit. As for the correct, reliable refutations which come from the people of knowledge in clarification of the truth and not based upon desires, then these are essential, because it is not allowed to remain silent about the people of misguidance who spread their misguidance and deceive the Ummah and the Ummah’s youth.  Alhamdu lilLaahi alaa kulli ne'ematii, wa asta

The story to reflect.

The story to reflect.  Alhamdulillah, lets remind ourselves as verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.  There once lived a man who was in seek of peace.. As he travelled from different places to get peace in life, he went to different places and did different actions yet he had no peace.  One-day he was on his journey and thereupon met a very young beautiful woman. He immediately felt some happiness in his heart and said this is what will give me peace. And he came again and saw a man who was in some clothes that he does not like. So he chased the beautiful woman to have peace but as he chased her, the woman smiled and for three days, his depression even increased and worsen.  He still didnt have the peace and return to the man to see him again, but as he went the man was there and he said to him,  I want peace and i want you to teach me how to get peace of heart.  The man said to him,  Have taqwa of Allah and you will get peace. The man started to sit with thi

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Generosity

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Generosity Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of Ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night of Ramadan to teach him the Qur'an. Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) was the most generous person, even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds) (Sahih al-Bukhari 6, Book 1, Hadith 6) Be generous with others. With your time, your wealth and your kindness. Everything will come back to you.

SHOWING GRATITUDE AND THANKING ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Ath-thalaatha, 28th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Tuesday, 1st October 2024). *_SHOWING GRATITUDE AND THANKING ALLAH_*. BismilLaah. ALLAH Glorified and Exalted be HE has bestowed upon us abundant blessings, so HE deserves to be thanked for HIS many Favours. Blessings are commensurate with our gratitude. If you thank ALLAH for HIS Favours, ALLAH will increase and bless you. But if you are ungrateful and always complaining, favours will disappear, and immediate punishments may follow in this life before the hereafter. Blessings are of various types. They include having good health, hearing, seeing, intellect, and organs. The greatest favour is guiding us through Islam, holding fast to, caring for, and comprehending it. ALLAH (Exalted be HE) states: “This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islâm as your way of life.” [Surah Al-Ma’idah, 5: 3]. *_May ALLAH keep guiding our eemaan till Jannat become

THE BEST FORM OF INVESTMENT IN ISLAM

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 27th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Monday, 30th September 2024). *_THE BEST FORM OF INVESTMENT IN ISLAM_*. BismilLah.  Many of us seem to spend an incredible amount of time and energy chasing the dream job. After all, a bigger paycheck often translates into a better car, a bigger house, and a higher worldly social status. Each of us is dreaming such a big, which also includes a beautiful wife, a wealthy husband etc. But we are warned about this in The Qur’an where ALLAH says  *Alhaakumuttakaathur hatta zurtumulmaqaabir* “Rivalry in worldly increase distracts you (from the remembrance of ALLAH), till you come to the graves” (102: 1-2). “Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and ALLAH has with HIM a great reward.” (64:15).  Ever think of the results of all of your worldy efforts? ”It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.” (79:46). FAJR REMINDER: WHEN YOU ARE DIFFERENT

FAJR REMINDER: *WHEN YOU ARE DIFFERENT* By: Umm Affān  Rabī' Al-Awwal 28, 1446 (1-October-2024) The Jews learned about the truth through the Tawrah but didn't understand it nor abide by it. They choose knowledge but act in opposition to the knowledge gained and thus earn Allāh's Anger. Allāh likens them to donkeys. What benefits are books carried by a donkey to it? Allāh says: The likeness of those who were entrusted with the (obligation of the) Tawrah (Torah) (i.e., to obey its commandments and to practice its legal laws), but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is as the likeness of a donkey who carries huge burdens of books (but understands nothing from them). [Sūrah Al-Jumu'ah (62): 5] On the other hand, Christians don't bother to know the truth. They don't seek knowledge, they don't seek understanding, and, thus, are astray as they only do what appears appealingly.  Hence, to not be like the Jews and Christians, Islām obligates Muslims to l

The hadith to reflect.

The hadith to reflect.  Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: Whoever suffers from destitution and he beseeches the people for it, his destitution shall not end. And whoever suffers fromdestitution and he beseeches Allah for it, Allah will send provisions to him, sooner or later." Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2326. This hadith teaches us tawakkal and to rely upon Allah alone.  Whatever is happening to us, lets tell Allah of our problems and seek help from him alone and not peoples..  No person can take away our worries except Allah who has made us fall into such trial.

The story to reflect from the hadith

The story to reflect from the hadith..  Narrated Al-Bara bin Azib: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent some men from the Ansar to ((kill) Abu Rafi`, the Jew, and appointed `Abdullah bin Atik as their leader. Abu Rafi` used to hurt Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and help his enemies against him. He lived in his castle in the land of Hijaz. When those men approached (the castle) after the sun had set and the people had brought back their livestock to their homes. `Abdullah (bin Atik) said to his companions, "Sit down at your places. I am going, and I will try to play a trick on the gate-keeper so that I may enter (the castle)." So `Abdullah proceeded towards the castle, and when he approached the gate, he covered himself with his clothes, pretending to answer the call of nature. The people had gone in, and the gate-keeper (considered `Abdullah as one of the castle's servants) addressing him saying, "O Allah's Servant! Enter if you wish, for I want to close the gate." `

Issues & Bismillah

*Issues & Bismillah* ------------------------------ Questions asked - "Tell me about bismillahi b4 fatiha in prayer. And must one say "Bismillahi rahman nirahim" quietly after finishing al-fatihah in order to begin the surah one will recite aloud? What if after fatiha, one begins recitation in the middle of a surah?". *RESPONSE:* بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم *Basmalah Before Fatiha In Swalat:* The scholars hold differing opinions about this issue. Yes. Some say that it is definitely a verse from al-Fātiḥah and it should be recited aloud in those prayers which are recited out-loud. They believe it is not correct unless the Basmalah is recited since it is part of the entire chapter of al-Fātiḥah. Other scholars say that it is not a verse of al-Fātiḥah, but it is a separate verse from the book of Allah. Now, None of these Scholars, however, could be labeled *“wrong”* as both have their reasons. Furthermore, Reciting the Basmalah  is mustahabb (encouraged), not obligator

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Forgiveness

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Forgiveness Thauban (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) finished his Salat (prayer), he would beg forgiveness three times [by saying, 'Astaghfirullah' (3 times)] and then he would say: "Allahumma Antas-Salamu, wa minkas-Salamu, tabarakta ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram. (O Allah! You are the Bestower of security and security comes from You; Blessed are You. O Possessor of glory and honour)." Imam Al-Auza'i (one of the subnarrators) of this Hadith was asked: "How forgiveness should be sought?" He replied: ""I say: Astaghfirullah, Astaghfirullah (I seek forgiveness from Allah. I seek forgiveness from Allah)." [Muslim]. (Riyad as-Salihin 1876, Book 19, Hadith 8) The Arabic of the Astaghfar is: استغفر الله And this is the Dua of the Prophet (SAW): اللهم أنت السلام، ومنك السلام، تباركت يا ياذا الجلال والإكرام‏ Seek Allah’s forgiveness at all times and have hope for His Mercy.

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Generosity   Abu Hurayra (ra) said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was asked, 'Which people are the most generous?'' He said, 'The most generous of people was Yusuf (as), the Prophet of Allah, son of the Prophet of Allah, who was the son of the Intimate Friend of Allah (Ibrahim (as)).' They said, 'That is not what we are asking about.' He said, 'Are you asking about those of Arab origin?' 'Yes,' they replied. He said, 'The best of you in the Jahiliyya is the best of you in Islam when you have understanding from Allah)." It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him) said:  The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “On the night on which I was taken on the Night Journey (Isra’), a beautiful fragrance came to me.  I said: O Jibreel, what is this beautiful fragrance❓ He said: This is the fragrance of the hairdresser of Pharaoh’s daughter and her children. I said: What is their story❓ He said: Whilst she was combing the hair of Pharaoh’s daughter one day,, the iron comb fell from her hand and she said,, ‘Bismillaah (in the name of Allah).’ The daughter of Pharaoh said: ‘My father❓’ She said: ‘No. My Lord and the Lord of your father is Allah.’ She said: ‘I will tell him about that.’ She said: ‘Yes.’ So she told him and he summoned her and said: ‘O So and so, do you have a Lord other than me❓’ She

Shirk is the dangerous sin in islam.

Shirk is the dangerous sin in islam.  Alhamdulillah, the first and foremost sin in islam is shirk.  Shirk means to associate partners with Allah.  Allah says from the Quran,  An-Nisa' 4:48 إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِۦ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَآءُۚ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدِ ٱفْتَرَىٰٓ إِثْمًا عَظِيمًا  Indeed, Allāh does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allāh has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin. Allah says again,  An-Nisa' 4:116 Indeed, Allāh does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allāh has certainly gone far astray. No matter the sin one commits and comes to Allah without shirk, Allah will forgive him. As reported in hadith, Abd Allaah (bin Masud) said “I asked Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) which sin is the gravest?” He replied “That you associate someone with

The world as a prison of the believer.

And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew. As reported in hadith,  Jabir ibn 'Abdullah reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, passed through the market, entering from part of the high part of the city and the people were on both sides of him. He passed by a dead one-eared goat and reached out and took its ear. Then he said, "Who would like to buy this for a dirham?" They said, "Why would we want it when it is worthless? What would we do with it?" He said, "Would you like to have it?" "No," they replied. He as

DO YOU PREFER DUNYA OR AAKHIRA?

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 26th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Sunday, 29th September 2024). *_DO YOU PREFER DUNYA OR AAKHIRA?_*. ALLAH tells us how insignificant and transient this world is and how it will soon end. All that it is, is amusement and play: وَإِنَّ الدَّارَ الاْإخِرَةَ لَهِيَ الْحَيَوَانُ Verily, the home of the Hereafter  that is the life indeed, meaning the true everlasting life that will never end, but will continue forever and ever. لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ if they but knew meaning, they would prefer that which will last over that which will pass away. Then ALLAH says that at times of calamity, the idolators call upon HIM alone, with no partner or associate, so why do they not do that all the time! Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said,"The first group (

The story to reflect.  Being a practicing Muslim.  Alhamdulillah, lets praise and thank Allah always for giving us health and finding ourselves to be Muslims.  There lived two boys who were good friends and always do everything together.  They use to spend time in the masjid and pray always on-time.  One-day, they were walking on the path and then saw a very old man who was lying there half dead.  The two boys looked as the man was lying helplessly and then went to his rescue  They took a cup of water from their jug and gave the man to drink.  The man looked at them as he was surprised.  The man said to the boys,  Who are you?  They replied we are from so and so area?  The man said to them,  Thank you as they made the man to sit on the chair.  The boys were amazed and went further and then came back to see how the man was?  As they came, the man was not there and left a note saying,  I am thankful to you and for helping me. BismilLah.  Unfortunately, due to our weak eemaan,  some are happy to disobey ALLAH or to even sin to please their parents, children, wives, etc. ALLAH warns us in Qur'an 80:33 فَإِذَا جَاءتِ الصَّاخَّةُ When there comes the Deafening Blast, meaning the thunderous shout of the Day of Judgement. During a time in Islam when women were not expected, or wanted, to contribute outside the household, Aisha delivered public speeches, became directly involved in war and even battles, and helped both men and women to understand the practices of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh). During Caliphate of her father Abu Bakr Siddiq (ra), Aisha was honored with titles *‘Al-Siddiqa bint Al-Siddiq’ - the truthful woman, daughter of the truthful man*. During Caliphate of Umar Ibn Khattab (r.a.), Aisha (r.a.) continued to play the role of a consultant in political matters. The prohibition to talk while imam delivers khutbah.

The prohibition to talk while imam delivers khutbah.  Alhamdulillah, as we know it is forbidden for the person who comes to jum'uah to talk while imam delivers the khutbah.  As reported in hadith,  It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “If you say to your companions: ‘Be quiet’ on a Friday while the Imam is delivering the sermon, you have engaged in Laghw (idle talk or behaviour).”.” Sunan ibn Majah Vol. 1, Book 5, Hadith 1110. Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA):: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Whoever speaks on Friday while the Imam is giving the Khutbah (religious talk), he is like a donkey which carries books; andhe who tells him to be quiet has no Jumu'ah." [Reported by Ahmad with an acceptable chain of narrators]. Bulugh ul maram.  Book 2, Hadith 374. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for blessing us to be part of this blessed day of the week.  ALLAH says, فَإِذَا جَاءتِ الطَّامَّةُ الْكُبْرَى But when there comes the Great Catastrophe, this refers to the Day of Judgement. يَوۡمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ  The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, meaning, at that time, the Son of Adam will reflect upon all of his deeds, both the good and the evil. وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلۡجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ  And Hell shall be made apparent for whoever sees, meaning it will become apparent for the onlookers, so the people will see it with their own eyes. Allahu Akbar.  فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ . وَءاثَرَ الْحَيَوةَالدُّنْيَا Then, for him, who transgressed, meaning, who rebels and behaves arrogantly. And preferred the life of this world, meaning he gives it precedence over the matters of his religion and hi

The story to reflect. Being content with what Allah has given us.

The story to reflect. Being content with what Allah has given us.  Alhamdulillah, lets remind ourselves as verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.  There lived a woman with her children. This woman was a cripple woman and her children used to take care of her always.  They always make sure their mother is taken good care of.  One-day, the children came to their mum and this mother then passed away.  As this mother passed away, the children were gazing in amazement to what has happened to them.  So frustrated of what they saw, they could not bear it. The children because of the love of their mother, they could not do anything in their life  Seeing all hope is lost for them One-day as they were there, a man came to visit them and was looking good, the children said this man is the most happiest and nothing is worrying him.  The stranger said to them,  I have problems but i know no one can heal me except myself and to trust in Allah.  I lost my families all in car

Question asked can a woman marry without the knowledge of her wali (Guardian)

Question asked can a woman marry without the knowledge of her wali (Guardian) Alhamdulillah, it is not permissible for a woman to marry without knowledge of her guardian As reported in hadith,  Aishah narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: "Whichever woman married without the permission of her Wali her marriage is invalid, her marriageis invalid, her marriage is invalid. If he entered into her, then the Mahr is for her in lieu of what he enjoyed from her private part. If they disagree, then the Sultan is the Wali for one who has no Wali.".  Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1102. So if a man marries a woman and she has no wali, the sultan or judge becomes her wali.  And whatever takes between them like intercourse, she is not to pay the mahr price but the marriage should be annul unless there is a wali of the woman.  The reason wali is needed is because women are weak and so when any matter arises in the marriage, the wali can stand for them as a protector.  Allah says,  An-Nisa' 4

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Blessings upon one another

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Blessings upon one another Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah (RA): A woman said to the Prophet (ﷺ): Invoke blessing on me as well as on my husband. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: May Allah send blessing on you and your husband. (Sunan Abi Dawud 1533, Book 8, Hadith 118) The woman in this Hadith did not ask only for blessings for herself, but her husband too. We should see our spouses as our companions and shower them with our love, compassion and mercy, praying for them and the best for them in this life and the next. This beautiful Hadith not only shows the wonderful nature of the woman who asked for her husband the very thing she asked for herself, but also how giving the Prophet (SAW) was in that a request was made and immediately he made a dua, remembering Allah and blessing the couple. He (SAW) never said no to anyone. Alhamdulillah for our Prophet (SAW).

DON'T WORRY ABOUT YOUR PAST SINS, JUST REGRET, REPENT SINCERELY, AND WITNESS THE BLESSINGS OF ALLAH IN YOUR LIFE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-Khamis, 23rd day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Thursday, 26th September 2024). *_DON'T WORRY ABOUT YOUR PAST SINS, JUST REGRET, REPENT SINCERELY, AND WITNESS THE BLESSINGS OF ALLAH IN YOUR LIFE_*. BismilLah.  Never doubt about the promise of ALLAH to mankind. In the Quran, we find many verses that show how ALLAH will increase HIS blessings on us if we repented and asked HIM for forgiveness. Remember what Prophet Nuuh (Noah, peace be upon him) said to his people: “I told them, ‘Seek ALLAH’s forgiveness, for verily HE is the One that forgives frequently. HE will then send the skies upon you (with rain) in abundance. And HE will increase your wealth and children, and bestow upon you gardens, and bestow upon you rivers’”. (Quran, 71: 10-12). Allahu Akbar. Do you need anything more than wealth and children? If ALLAH blesses you with these, then HE would add anything else that goes with the 2 such as health and happy lifestyle. Just stop the wrong doings, repe

A question asked what are the conditions for the prayer(As solaah) to be accepted.

A question asked what are the conditions for the prayer(As solaah) to be accepted.  Solaah is the second pillar of islam.  And there are conditions for the solaah to be accepted. First one should be a muslim Then one should purify his clothing. Thirdly one should have intention to pray. Fourthly, one should be in state of Ablution. Fifthly, one should face the qiblah. One should make takbeeratul ihram One should recite fatiha. One should make ruku and straighten his back touching his knees. One should stand for qiyaam after ruku'. One should make sujud upon seven body parts, the nose, forehead, the knees, the palms, the foot. One should sit for the tashahud and recite the At Tahiyyat. One should make the tasliim by saying, As salaamu Alaykumus salaam warahmatullaahi wabarkatuhu. May Allah aids and accepts our ibadah. Aamin

LET'S BE MINDFUL OF SHEITAN IN OUR WAYS OF LIFE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 22nd day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Wednesday, 25th September 2024). *_LET'S BE MINDFUL OF SHEITAN IN OUR WAYS OF LIFE_*. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 35 vs 5. O mankind! Verily, the promise of ALLAH is true, meaning the Resurrection will undoubtedly come to pass. فَلَ تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا So, let not this present life deceive you, means, `this life is as nothing in compare to the great good that ALLAH has promised to HIS close friends and the followers of HIS Messengers, so do not let these transient attractions distract you from that which is lasting.' وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ and let not the chief deceiver deceive you about ALLAH. This refers to Shaytan, as stated by Ibn Abbas, may ALLAH be pleased with him. Meaning, do not let the Shaytan tempt you and divert y

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Destiny

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Destiny It was narrated that Suraqah bin Ju'shum (ra) said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), is one's deed in that which has already dried of the Pen and what has passed of the Divine Decree, or is it in the future?' He said: 'No, it is in that which he already dried of the Pen and what has passed of the Divine Decree, and each person is facilitated for what he has been created.'" (Sunan Ibn Majah 91, Introduction, Hadith 91) We are told about destiny to avoid feeling too much joy at good news and despair at times of tribulation. Allah knows what is best, you have to trust Him and know that what is meant to happen will and nothing can harm or benefit you without His permission. Praise Allah for the good in your life and turn to Him when things get tough. You'll get through whatever life throws at you if you only have faith, Insha'Allah.

HAPPY MARRIAGE CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED THROUGH BOTH COUPLE'S EFFORTS

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Ath-thalaatha, 21st day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Tuesday, 24th September 2024). *_HAPPY MARRIAGE CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED THROUGH BOTH COUPLE'S EFFORTS_*. BismilLah.  ALLAAH says in the holy Quran;  “And among HIS Signs is this, that HE created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find tranquillity in them, and HE has put between you affection and MERCY. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect.” [Al-Qur’an 30: 21].   Marriage is an institute that can be as firm as a rock or weak as a thread. It is up to the partners to make it either one.  We have to learn to be tolerant of each other for the MERCY of ALLAH to flow in the marriage or else sheitan takes over and mess up the marriage.   Marriage is a great Sunnah and an act of worship.  It is the responsibility of both husband and wife to give 100% effort to make their marriage successful and their home peaceful and Islamic solely for ALLAH sake. At the time of concern and tens

Midnight Medicine

*Midnight Medicine* -------------------------------- بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Tahajjud prayer is one of the best treatment therapy of various sicknesses or diseases. Yes. People who consistently establish Tahajud prayer will have the immune system so not susceptible to harm, demonic attacks or diseases. Evidence: Rasulullah (pbuh) said, *“Do night prayer because it is a tradition of pious people before you, a means of getting closer Allah, prevention of sin, erasing wrongdoings, and preventing all kinds of diseases from the body.”* 📚(Tirmidhi) Although, Sleep is an important part of living and is a way of recharging our batteries to prepare ourself to continue our daily activities, squandering the entire hours of the night sleeping without Tahajjud, suggests that the night have not been better utilized in a more productive way. Above all, Tahajud prayer offer us hope of making Du'a which meet acceptance. Evidence: “Every night Allah Tabaraka Wa Ta’ala descends (to the heavens of th

Always be patient in life

The story to reflect.  Always be patient in life  There once lived a man who was seeking to have a watch and has tried always to buy a watch but could not afford.  He only had a cup and he saw this cup has no use to him.  One-day, he brought the cup and exchanged it for a watch. He was so happy as he had the watch.  As he was going ahead, he felt thirsty and was passing by some merchant who also said anyone who has a cup will drink the water  The man came closer opened the bag but realized he had exchanged the cup for a watch.  Now he has no cup to get water and finally realized he had been given something precious but failed to treasure and admire it.  A lesson for us to reflect.  Whatever we have, lets treasure it and be patient with it. Maybe it will be useful to us someday. Lets not eye what others have to make us fail to realize what we have..

Were it not for the weak and the sick, I wanted to delay this prayer until the middle of the night.'"  (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 2, Hadith 27) Even waiting for the prayer is an ibadah! SubhanAllah! You wait in anticipation of worshipping your Lord which in itself is an act of worship. We have no excuse to not maximise the opportunities presented to us to keep Allah S

Worship your Lord (ALLAH), Who created you and those who were before you so that you may acquire Taqwa (ALLAH consciousness, by helping you to stay away from any form of disobedience to ALLAH).  ALLAH mentioned HIS Oneness in divinity and stated that HE has favoured HIS servants by bringing us to life after we did not exist. HE also surrounded us with blessings, both hidden and apparent In verse 22 ALLAH says; Who has made the earth a resting place for you, HE made the earth a re

The deen of islam and what is islam.

The deen of islam and what is islam.  Islam means submission from the root سلم=slim meaning submit.  Allah s.w.t says in Quran,  Al-Baqarah 2:208 O you who have believed, enter into Islām completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. Entering islam is to surrender to Allah.  With worshipping him alone(tawheed) and being sincere to him in worship That is islam.  And one cannot enter islam without declaration of faith which is laa ilaha illa Allah, muhammadur rasuulullaah. That is to say there is none worthy of worship except Allah and muhammad is his messenger.  This is what makes one a muslim We proclaim by the tongue as the heart confirms and action acts upon it.  This is the true declaration of faith.  Many muslims utter this kalimatayn yet associate partners with Allah and going to soothsayers and when something happens to them alledged it on something or someone.  This is kufr and takes one out of islam.  As Allah says,  Y

FAJR REMINDER: *BECOMING ALLĀH'S FRIEND

FAJR REMINDER: *BECOMING ALLĀH'S FRIEND* By: Umm Affān  Rabī' Al-Awwal 20, 1446 (23-September-2024) Imagine if Allāh Himself were to call you His friend. Who among us would not yearn for such a privilege, such a Divine Favor? Yet, to be His friend, His beloved, one must possess the twin jewels in the crown of righteousness, the twin great all-inclusive qualities. The first, Al-Eemān; the true belief in the Oneness of Allāh - i.e. singling Him out in His Lordship, Worship, and Names and Attributes. For without faith, how can one be His friend? How can one truly understand the path He has laid before us, and the guidance He has given? Then, the second, At-Taqwā; the consciousness of Allāh, the awareness of His Omnipresence, His Omniscience. Without having the fear of (displeasing) Allāh, without respect for His Authority, how can one hope to be His friend? Notably, being a Walī (friend of Allāh) is not limited to certain believers over others. It's something that has been ma

AN EXCELLENT WAY IN GETTING CLOSER TO ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 19th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Sunday, 22nd September 2024). *_AN EXCELLENT WAY IN GETTING CLOSER TO ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER_*. Bismillaah. Islam teaches us to utilize our time, money, and our knowledge for the sake of ALLAH.  Sponsor an orphan. The Messenger of ALLAH (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “I will be like this in Jannah (Paradise) with the person who takes care of an orphan.” The Messenger of ALLAH raised his forefinger and middle finger by way of illustration. This is very vital since sponsoring an orphan costs but a fragment of our income, and the reward for taking care of orphans is beyond what we can imagine in this life.  Always keep these two words in your mind and libs:  AlhamdulilLah and AstaghfirulLah.  AlhamdulilLah keeps you closer to ALLAH while AstaghfirulLah keeps you away from Sins. *_May ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty, and the Majestic) aid us through our little efforts and grant us good health and halal sustenance t

The Amanah from the hadith and lessons from it.

The story to reflect.  The Amanah from the hadith and lessons from it.  Abu Huraira reported God’s Messenger as saying, “A man of those who were before your time bought some real estate from another, and the buyer found in what he had bought a jar containing gold. The buyer told the other to take his gold from him as he had bought from him only the property and had not bought the gold from him, but the man who had sold the land said he had sold him the land and its contents. They brought the matter before another for decision and he asked whether they had any children. When one said he had a boy and the other said he had a girl, he told them to marry the boy to the girl and spend* some of the gold on them and givesadaqa.” *While the dual has been used with reference to the two men, the plural is used for “marry" and “spend’’. (Bukhari and Muslim.) This hadith teaches us of Amanah and how the people see it as.  The man feared he sold the land and do not wish to take the gold while

The story of the wealthy man and his worker.

The story to reflect.  The story of the wealthy man and his worker.  There once lived a wealthy man who had a worker who was sincere to him and served him for many years.  One-day, this worker decided to retire but the wealthy said to him to build a very beautiful house for him. He want to gift it to someone closer to him The worker was jealous why he did not have such house so he built it any how for his master.  After the house was built, the worker said to the wealthy man,  I have gift this house for you to stay as you have been dutiful to me all these years.  The worker regretted of building the house anyhow and said had i wish i was to get the house, I would have built it more beautiful.  A lesson for us is, lets always do everything with a clean heart if we want to always attain happiness.

LET'S STRIVE TO BE POSITIVE ALL THE TIME, FOR BETTER FOR WORSE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-Sabt, 18th day of RabeeulAwwal, 1446AH (Saturday, 21st September 2024). *_LET'S STRIVE TO BE POSITIVE ALL THE TIME,  FOR BETTER FOR WORSE_*. BismilLah. If your character is negative, you have the power and the choice to do what it takes to alter it. The greatest power we have as human beings is the power of choice. Even Angels don't have that power. They are commanded to do whatever ALLAH wishes but ALLAH has giving us the power of choice to act good for HIS Paradise or act bad for HIS hell fire.  Almighty ALLAH says in Quran [76:3] “I have shown human being the way to be either grateful or ungrateful.” This is simply about choice, either to be thankful and turn towards the way of ALLAH or being ungrateful and turn towards your own heart desires. We must always seek guidance and forgiveness from ALLAH through dua such as the following; "Our Lord! We have indeed believed: forgive us our sins, and save us from the punishment of the Fire"
