Alhamdulillah, Islam as a religion for mankind since creation.

Allah says,

Verily , the religion in the sight of Allah is Al Islam.

Surah 3;19.

And anyone who desires any religion aside Islam will never be accepted from him and in the hereafter will be among the losers.

Surah 3;85

Islam is built upon five pillars, six articles of faith and one pillar of ihsan

The five pillars are

To proclaim there is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is his messenger, to observe the prayer, to give zakah, to fast in Ramadan an to make Hajj(pilgrimage) once to Makkah in a person's life time.

The six articles of faith are,

Believe in Allah, his Angels, his sacred books, his messengers, believe in the last day and believe in Qadr whether good or evil is from Allah 

And one pillar of ihsan which is to worship ALLAH as if one sees him but if one does not see him, he sees us.

And if anyone denies in a pillar of faith becomes a kaafir and if he dies will enter hellfire because Islam cannot be accepted without belief in Eeman(faith).

Allah says,

Verily those who believe and do righteous deed.

Before the deed are accepted, one has to have Eeman

Allah says,

Al-Kahf 18:104

ٱلَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعْيُهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ يُحْسِنُونَ صُنْعًا 

[They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work."

Al-Kahf 18:104

ٱلَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعْيُهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ يُحْسِنُونَ صُنْعًا 

[They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work."

Al-Kahf 18:105

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَلِقَآئِهِۦ فَحَبِطَتْ أَعْمَٰلُهُمْ فَلَا نُقِيمُ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَزْنًا 

Those are the ones who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord and in [their] meeting Him, so their deeds have become worthless; and We will not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any weight [i.e., importance].
