Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Alms
Abu al-Aswad al-Dailani (ra) said: While we were present with Abu Dharr, he said: In the morning, alms are due for him, ever fast is alms, every pilgrimage is alms, every utterance of "Glory to be Allah" is alms, every utterance of "Allah is most great" is alms, every utterance of "Praise be to Allah" is alms. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recounted all such good works. He then said: Two rak'ahs which one prays in the Duha serve instead of that.
(Sunan Abi Dawud 1286, Book 5, Hadith 37)
The 2 rakahs of Duha are a blessing we should all avail. It takes just a few minutes and has great rewards. Remember Allah at all times and you will find Him close to you. Don’t let anything distract you for too long before your return to Allah. Having a good day? Say Alhamdulillah. Made a mistake? Say Astaghfirullah. Make mentioning Allah part of your natural habits and blessings will always be with you.
