Minus 1 and Plus 1

 *Minus 1 and Plus 1*

------------------------------

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

As you wake up in the morning (everyday), a caller called on your name to remind you of two vital informations: (a) that your days on this earth 🌎 is reduced by one *(Minus 1)* and (b) that you are closer to your grave by one day *(Plus 1)*. This why Hassan al-Basri said:

“The World is three days: As for yesterday, it has vanished, along with all that was in it. As for tomorrow, you may never see it. As for today, it is yours, so work in it.” 📚 (Hassan al-Basri)

My people!

Life is like an hourglass. Yes. Since birth, a person’s life of hourglass starts to run down toward the empty part, reducing the grains of life gradually.

What's hourglass?

Hourglass is a glass container filled with sand that takes one hour to move from an upper to a lower part through a narrow opening in the middle, used especially in the past to measure time.

Servants of Allah!

The sands of time in our hourglass keep running out *on daily basis* until the last grain in the hourglass slides down from the narrow neck of the hourglass.

*Question:*

How many Sand(s) do you have left in your hourglass?

*Answer:*

Only Allah (swt) knows the remaining grains of sand in everyone’s hourglass.

Servants of Allah!

I'm always worried each time I remember hadeeth narrated by Abu Hurayra (Ra) that, our beloved Prophet (pbuh) said: *“Indeed the first deed by which a servant will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection is his Swalat. If it is complete, he or she is successful and saved, but if it is defective, he or she has failed and lost. So, if something is deficient in his or her obligatory (prayers) then Allah (swt) will say: ‘Look! Are there any voluntary (prayers) for my worshipper?’ So, with them, what was deficient in his or her obligatory (prayers) will be completed.....”* 📚(Tirmizi).

My people!

None of our obligatory Swalawat is FREE of distractions from the same shaytan who whisper to people that, it is not compulsory to be engaging oneself in establishing voluntary prayers, especially Tahajjud.

*Question:*

Why more preference to Tahajjud?

*Answer:*

We have learned that, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: *“The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer.”* 📚(Muslim)

My people!

Would you not desire to have your name documented *EVERYDAY* by Angels who document the names of people who wake up for midnight prayer?

Therefore,

If u have not yet set ur phone alarm in a repeating mode, to wake u up for midnight nawafil (at least 2 rakaats) everyday till the end of ur life, pls do so immediately. Yes. And waking up everyday for Tahajjud is not something difficult.. Let assume you wake up by 2AM, use 3minutes to perform ablution, 2minutes to get dressed, 5minutes to establish ONLY 2rakaat nawafil, 5minutes to make Du'a to Allah.. Total time spent = 15minutes. *Everything In 15minutes,* then, go back to catch up with sleep.

Allah alone knows best

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w...

IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE An obligation upon every Muslim

﷽ ➖➖➖ *IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE* ➖➖➖ *An obligation upon every Muslim* ➖➖➖  Allah ﷻ says  *وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا* _And He taught Adam all the names of everything_ Meaning, the names that people use, such as human, animal, sky, earth, land, sea, horse, donkey, and so forth, including the names of the other species" *ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلَـئِكَةِ* _Then He showed them to the angels_ Meaning, the creations.
