Questions asked - copied & pasted below:

"Salaam Alaikum brother, please I have a question regards to the prayer, someone forgot to pray Asr until he prays magrib and Ishai he now recall that he haven't pray Asr, how can someone make up that prayer?? Thanks jazakAllah Khaira".

Response:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

If a person forgets to do anything - eg, he or she forgets to change the dress which is having Najas (impurity) and pray with the impure dress *(out of forgetfulness)*, or person forget a prayer and he or she does not remember it until he or she has performed another obligatory prayer, then, he or she is not sinful as the Prophet said: *''Allah has forgiven my nation for things they forget, or do by mistake, or which they are forced to do.''* 📚[Ibn Maajah]

Besides, Allah (swt) Says

لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَاۚ ..."

{"Our Lord, Do not impose blame upon us if we have" forgotten or erred...} 📚[Quran 2:286]

However,

You are obliged to make up the prayer that you forgot to perform, as the Prophet (saw) said: *''Whoever forgets a prayer should perform it as soon as he remembers it"* Then the Prophet (saw) recited the verse in which Allah The Almighty Says:

".... وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِكْرِىٓ

"So worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. -  Quran Ta Ha, 20:14 📚Al-Bukhari and Muslim

Therefore,

If you forgot to pray the Asr prayer until after praying Magrib & Ishai, then you are only required to pray the Asr prayer and you do not need to repeat the Mabrib & Ishai prayer. Yes. You are not considered sinful and your prayer as well even if you led people in prayer as Imam, your prayer & theirs is valid - In Shaa Allah.

Although,

Very few number of scholars are of the opinion that you pray the prayer you forget and then, repeat all the ones you have prayed before you remember.. *But, this verdict is not correct, and they don't have convincing evidence or evidences backing up this opinion*.

So,

If you forgot to pray any prayer until after praying the next prayer or prayers, then you are only required to pray the forgotten prayer and you do not need to repeat the next prayer or prayers already established.

Allah alone knows best

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today?

One of the question asked is can a Christian enter Jannah today? Alhamdulillah, it is clear from Quran and hadiths that any christian who dies believing Jesus is God or son of God and do not believe in prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him will enter hellfire. Allah says, Al-Ma'idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allāh is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allāh at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.

PURIFICATION OF THE HEART

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 20th day of Swafar 1447AH, Thursday, 14th August 2025. *_PURIFICATION OF THE HEART_*. BismilLah.  A sister asked me yesterday how we can purify ourselves to achieve the immense benefits mentioned in our reminder yesterday.  The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Mecca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyat an-nafs).   ALLAH Azzawajal says: He has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also, ALLAH Azzawajal says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes to ALLAH Azzawajal with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrog...
