 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Ahad. 18th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Sunday, 31st December, 2023). *_CONTROLLING OUR TONGUE FROM BACKBITING AND SLANDERING_*. BismilLah.  Controlling the tongue for many people is more difficult than abstaining from food and drinks. It is easy to abstain from food and drink, but abstaining one’s tongue is a really difficult one even during fasting.  What we need to remember is that ALLAH is not in need of the fasting of such a person. The Prophet sallallahu  alaihi  wasallam said: “Whoever does not give up false speech and acting upon it, ALLAH has no need of him giving up his food and drink.” [Tirmidhi 707]. Even though it is difficult to always keep our tongue under control, let us try our best. Let us constantly keep reminding ourselves that we are not only abstaining from food and drink and that we are also abstaining from all sorts of sins, which will cause us to attain the anger of ALLAH. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur’an  4:78 Wheresoever you may be, death will overtake you, meaning, you shall certainly die, and none of you shall ever escape death. as ALLAH says again in Quran 55:26, كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish).  Also ALLAH says 21:24 كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَايِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ Everyone shall taste death,  and in 21:24 وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ الْخُلْدَ And ALLAH granted not to any human being immortality before you.   Therefore, every soul shall taste death, and nothing can save any person from it. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 13th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Tuesday, 26th December, 2023). *_PROPHET MUHAMMAD sallallahu alaihi wasallam IS THE SEAL OF ALL PROPHETS AND MESSENGERS OF ALLAH, THE ALMIGHTY GOD AND FOR MANKIND_*.  In shā Allāh, for this month of Jumādā al-Thānī 1445 AH, Ayyam al-Beed [white days] will fall on: 13th Jumādā al-Thānī – Tuesday 26th of December 14th Jumādā al-Thānī  – Wednesday 27th of December  15th Jumādā al-Thānī – Thursday 28th December “Beed”  is the plural of “Abyad” which means white. Three days of 13, 14 and 15 of lunar month are called “Al-Ayyam-ul-Beed” for the reason that their nights are bright because of the moonlight. The moon begins to diminish gradually after these days. BismilLah.  According to the Quran, Jesus Christ was a Mighty Messenger of ALLAH (Almighty GOD), A Prophet, A word or command from ALLAH into Maryam (Mary AS) who was sent ONLY to the children of Israel (that's the descendants of Jacob or Yaacoub son of Isaac or Ishaaq may peace be upon them all).  Also in Quran 3:45 ALLAH commanded the Angel Gabriel or Jibreel to say to the mother of Jesus Christ as follows, ‘Mary, God gives you news of a Word of command of creation from HIM, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, who will be held in honour in this world and the next, who will be one of those brought near to God."  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Jumuat. 9th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Friday, 22nd December, 2023). *_OUR SUSTENANCE IS FROM ALLAH BUT WE MUST STRIVE FOR IT_*. BismilLah. "There is no moving creature on earth, but its sustenance depends on ALLAH: HE knows the time and place of its definite abode and its temporary deposit: All is in a clear Record". Qur'an, Hud, 11: 6  This clear Qur'anic teachings destroy the basic assumptions of Population Control campaign. ALLAH says "And the earth I have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. And I have provided therein means of subsistence, for you and for those for whose sustenance you are not responsible." [Hijr 15:19-20]. THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 8th day of Jumaadal Aakhir, 1445AH (Thursday, 21st December, 2023). *_THE CONCEPT OF ISLAH IN ISLAM, THE NEGLECTED FARD AND SUNNAH ACTION_*. BismilLah.  Islah (إصلاح) is an Arabic word and appears seven times in the Quran.  Linguistically speaking, this word means: reconciliation, reforming, bringing order, fixing something, making something better etc.  The one who makes islah is called a muslih (مصلح), and muslih appears in the Quran once in singular form and four times in plural form muslihoon (مصلحون). Our current world, our ummah is in dire need of islah. In Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8,  Book 73, Number 5, it was narrated by   Abdullah ibn Omar (may ALLAH be pleased with him): ‘I heard ALLAH’s Messenger (SAWS) saying: Three persons of people before you were on a journey when they were overtaken by a storm, and therefore, they took shelter in a cave.
