 *Alternative i‘tikāf*

[[-3rd Outing -]]
------------------

*Digest this if you can't perform i‘tikāf:*

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Majority of Muslims love to perform i‘tikāf (total seclusion inside the masjid) in the last 10 DAYS of Ramadan BUT certain genuine reasons could not allowed them.. There's nothing to worry about because there's alternative to harvesting all the goodies shared to you.

Now,

*Tip No 4:* Give charity and help the needy.

Allah (swt) will question us on the ways we handle everything in this world 🌎 and this includes every currency which hits our pockets or Bank accounts - Naira, Dollars, Ria, Euros to mention but a few.

In surah Al-Ma'arij 70 verse 24 to 25, Allah (swt) say:

وَٱلَّذِينَ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَّعْلُومٌ

لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ

"And those in whose wealth there is a recognized right. For the one who asks, and for the deprived." 📚Al-Ma'arij 70 verse 24 to 25

By implication,

This mean that, from every amount of money which enters our pockets or Bank accounts *(at any point in time)*, there is a determined portion for masjid maintainance, propagation of Islam as a religion and for fellow Muslims who are not part of our immediate families, and are in need (whether they ask for help or not). And this call didn't exclude anyone😳. Yes. Whether you are a scholar (Islamic teacher) or students at all levels, whether you have much or less in your pockets or Bank accounts, whether you are a man or woman. The only person who is excluded from giving out is anyone who wakes up with nothing to give out for that day.

This is why Allah (swt) assign two Angels to descend on daily basis with register book to keep the record of humans who have refused giving sadaqah and those who have given. They also make Du'a for the human beings.

Evidence :

Abu Hurairah (r.a.) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Everyday two angels descend and one of them says, 'O Allah! Bless and Compensate (more) to the person who gives (in charity)'; while the other one says, 'O Allah! Give more problems or Destroy the one who withholds (charity)". 📚Source: S‌ah‌i‌h‌ al-Bukha‌ri‌ 1442, S‌ah‌i‌h‌ Muslim 1010

Servants of Allah!

On the Day of Resurrection, all people that ever lived will be gathered before Allah (swt) to await Allah's judgment for all they have done. During this time, the sun ☀️ will come very close to the people.

People will want to get away from the heat of the sun ☀️ but there will be no Shade or shelter to go to and EVERYBODY will start sweating in proportion to their sins. The more sins a person has the more he or she will sweat😳. Yes. During this traumatic time, however, one of the seven groups of people who are mentioned in the Hadeeth will be completely immune to the sun’s heat and they will be in complete comfort.

*Who are those People?*

▪️".. a man or woman who gives in charity and hides it, such that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives in charity.." 📚Bukharee and Muslim

▪️"The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” 📚(Tirmidhi)

My People,

The expression in the above hadeeth is that, the habit of giving is not about simply giving when it is convenient. It is when we make giving a habit.

To be continued...

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
