 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 2nd day of Shaw'waal, 1447AH, Saturday, 21st March, 2026. *_FASTING 6 DAYS IN SHAWWAL_*. BismilLah. 


Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh.

Alhamdulillah, we have completed the blessed month of Ramadan. But the opportunity for rewards continues!


Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH ﷺ said: “Whoever fasts Ramadan and then follows it with six days of Shawwal, it is as if he fasted the entire year.” (Sahih Muslim).


Why is it so special? Because good deeds are multiplied by ten:

Ramadan (30 days x10) = 300 days

6 days of Shawwal x10 = 60 days

➡️ Total = 360 days (a full year!)

Benefits: 

➡️ It completes and perfects our Ramadan fasts. 

➡️ A sign that our Ramadan was accepted.

➡️ It Keeps us consistent in worship after Ramadan.


📌 Important Tips:

These 6 days can be fasted anytime during Shawwal and can be consecutive or spread out. We can start from Monday in shaa ALLAH. Let's make our intention sincerely for ALLAH Azzawajal alone.

*_May ALLAH Azzawajal accept our Ramadan and give us the strength to continue in Shawwal_*. Aameen.

Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
