TAFSEER OF SUURAH ASH-SHAMS (Qur’an 91), WITH SOME PRACTICAL LESSONS FOR OUR DAILY LIFE continues

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 9th day of Shaw'waal, 1447AH. Saturday, 28th March, 2026. TAFSEER OF SUURAH ASH-SHAMS (Qur’an 91), WITH SOME PRACTICAL LESSONS FOR OUR DAILY LIFE continues_*. BismilLah. 


Let's continue from yesterday's reminder. 

7. وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا

“And by the soul and HE who proportioned it” The human soul is perfectly created balanced and capable of choosing good or evil.

8. فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا

“And inspired it with its wickedness and its righteousness” Every soul knows: What is wrong (فجور) and What is right (تقوى)

👉 This is our internal moral compass.

9. قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّاهَا

“He has succeeded who purifies it”

True success is not wealth or status, but purifying our soul through: Faith, Good deeds and Sincerity.

10. وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّاهَا

“And he has failed who corrupts it”

Failure is when a person: Ignores truth, Follows desires and Covers their conscience

Example from History

11. كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَاهَا

“Thamud denied [their prophet] due to their transgression” Their arrogance led them to reject truth.

12. إِذِ انبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا

“When the most wretched of them was sent forth” The worst among them took the lead in committing evil.

13. فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا

“The Messenger of Allah said: [Do not harm] the she-camel of ALLAH …” Prophet Salih warned them about harming the miracle camel.

14. فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا

“But they denied him and slaughtered the she-camel ” They rejected guidance and committed a major sin.

فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَا

“So their Lord destroyed them for their sin and levelled them” ALLAH’S punishment was total, a warning for all who persist in فساد.

15. وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَاهَا

“And He does not fear the consequence thereof” ALLAH is just, HIS punishment is never ظلم (injustice). To be continued tomorrow with some practical Lessons from this Suurah. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

 *BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him?
