*Dua’u* are supplication made to Allah azza wa jalla for a request. Human is always in need of something that’s why we are use to it. However we shouldn’t forget giving thanks to HIM when he grant us what we wanted. Also it is not every supplication that’s granted as we aren’t in the Ultimate Jannah where we will be granted all that our heart desires. Also du’as are reserved for us in Jannah. There’s a story of two people who were fishing during the time Prophet Musàh pbuh.

Both were supplicating to Allah to enable them harvest more fish. However the du’a of one was declined as his net caught no fish whereas the other caught many fish when he threw his nest. He became disturbed as to why this happened. But Allah azza wajalla made it known to him through Prophet Musah that what he’s asking for is being reserved to him on the day of Reckoning and that the other person will have no share in the hereafter. As we indicated earlier that not all supplications were accepted, some du’a of some Prophets were also not accepted.

Prophet Musah pbuh for instance once supplicated to Allah to not enable anyone talk ill of him. Allah azza wajalla emphasizes that people talk ill about HE himself and that his prayer will not be granted. Prophet Nuhu pbuh prayed forgiveness for his son but Allah azza wajalla made it clear to him that his son wasn’t a righteous one and that the request wouldn’t be granted. Our Noble Prophet was not left out as according to a narration he made some request from HIM but one was declined.

Countless instances can be driven even from Quran when he seeked forgiveness from his uncle and Abdullàh bun Ubay. Allah azza wajalla also encourages us not be fed up with dua’u saying HE isn’t answering them. HE will surely or perhaps grant us better than what we asked. We are under this topic going to elaborate on instances where dua’u are mostly accepted. *The Lord of the Heavens and earth listens and responds to his slaves at all the times but there are certain times and places that are better than other times*.

*▫️.   Laylat-at-Qadar:*
The night of Power falls in the last 10 days of Ramadhan. It is of great significance, the Holy Quran was sent down on this night. This night is better than 1000 months and a good deed done on this night is like you did it for 1000 months.

*Allah says in the Quran: Indeed, We sent the Qur’an down during the Night of Decree. And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. Peace is until the emergence of dawn.” [Quran 97:1-5]*.

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who observed the fasts of Ramadan with faith and seeking reward (from Allah), all his previous sins would be forgiven, and he who observed prayer on Lailat-ul- Qadr with faith and seeking reward (from Allah), all his previous sins would be forgiven. [Sahih Muslim Book 6, Hadith 209]

Jummah or Friday is the most blessed day of the week. It has many virtues and one among them is that at a certain time after asr and before Maghrib prayer, there is a time when a Moomin asks from his lord, he is granted.

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned Friday and said: “During it there is a time when a Muslim slave does not stand and pray and ask Allaah for something, but He will give it to him,” and he gestured with his hand to indicate how short that time is. NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
