DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 18th day of Ramadhan, 1447AH, Saturday, 7th March, 2026. *_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AD-DUHA (سورة الضحى), QUR’AN 93, WITH SOME PRACTICAL LESSONS FOR DAILY LIFE_*. BismilLah.
Suurah Ad-Duha was revealed to comfort the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam during a time when revelation paused for a short period. Some disbelievers mocked him saying that his Lord had abandoned him. ALLAH Azzawajal revealed this beautiful suurah to reassure the Prophet ﷺ that HE had not abandoned him, and that better days were coming.
This suurah is filled with hope, reassurance, gratitude, and compassion for us too.
1️⃣ Verse 1
وَالضُّحَىٰ
Meaning “By the morning, brightness.” ALLAH Azzawajal begins the suurah with an oath by the morning light (Duha) — the time after sunrise when the world becomes bright.
In the Qur’an, when ALLAH Azzawajal swears by something in creation, it highlights its significance. Morning light symbolizes hope, renewal, and the end of darkness. Just as night ends with daylight, hardship is followed by relief. Practical Lessons: (Especially in Ramadan)
Hard times never last forever; relief always comes from ALLAH Azzawajal. Ramadan itself is like the morning after spiritual darkness, bringing light to our hearts. Begin your day with gratitude for another opportunity to worship. To be continued tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH.
Our Ramadhan Sadaqah for the poor continues, please send your donations to Ghana MTN 0244220273 Yakubu Adam. *_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.
