TAFSEER of SUURAH AT-TIN (THE FIG), (Qur’an 95) continues

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum As-sabt, 11th day of Ramadhan, 1447AH, Saturday, 28th February, 2026. *_TAFSEER of SUURAH AT-TIN (THE FIG), (Qur’an 95) continues. BismilLahir Rahmanir Raheem.  We studied in yesterday's reminder that Without eeman and good actions, the human being falls spiritually lower than animals. ALLAH Azzawajal then says in verse 6 as follows; . Except those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them is a reward uninterrupted. 7. So what causes you to deny the Recompense? 8. Is not ALLAH the Most Just of judges? The Exception: Eeman + Righteous.  Notice: ALLAH Azzawajal didn’t say “Eeman only.” HE says: Those who believe AND do righteous deeds. Faith must show in action. Ramadan trains both: Eeman (fasting secretly for ALLAH) Action (salah, sadaqah, Qur’an, patience etc). And ALLAH promises: ...

SHE LEFT THIS WORLD

FAJR REMINDER: SHE LEFT THIS WORLD By: Umm Affān Ramaḍān 11, 1447 (28-February-2026) O brethren! Let us exercise caution towards those who have strayed due to the misguided attitudes regarding the companions of the Prophet (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anhum). These individuals are known to insult and curse them, despite the serious warnings from the Prophet (ﷺ) against such behavior. Abū Sa’īd al-Khudri reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Do not insult my companions. If one of you were to spend the likes of Mount Uhud in gold (i.e., in charity), it would not reach a small portion of theirs or even half of that.” [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3673, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2540] Who among us disobeys the Prophet (ﷺ) if not those doomed? These people audaciously accuse and slander Ā’ishah (Raḍiyallāhu ‘Anha) concerning matters that Allāh exonerated her from long ago. They even utter blasphemous statements about their Creator (Allāh), the Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ), and Angel Jibreel (‘Alayhi Salām). Indeed, I refer to t...

Remain Focused* [[--- Part 10 ----]]

Think about the last ten nights. Think about Aisha (may Allah be be pleased with her). She told us: “The Prophet (pbuh) used to practice Itikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan till he died. He did it every single year until he left this world and then his wives used to practice Itikaf after him.” 📚[Hadith No. 2026, Book of Itikaf, Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 3] Why? Because he knew something we forget. *The Problem:* Usually, our Ramadan just… slips away. We unconsciously gossip, we sit doing nothing, we watch TV, we scroll on our phones. The days pass. We feel empty inside. But the Last Ten Nights? They are not normal nights. *The Secret:* Somewhere inside these dark nights is a night better than a thousand months. Do you understand that? One thousand months is more than 83 years! If you pray on Laylatul Qadr, it is like you worshipped Allah (swt) for 83 years straight. But how do you find it? How do you mak...

Remain Focused* [[--- Part 9 ----]]

Brother, Sister... Stop. Read this slowly. The Prophet (PBUH) did something every single year until he died. He left his bed. He left his house. He left everything. He went into the Masjid and did not come out. Nana Aisha (R.A) told us: “The Prophet used to practice Itikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan till he died and then his wives used to practice Itikaf after him.” 📚[Hadith No. 2026, Book of Itikaf, Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 3] Think about this. If it was just a "normal" thing, would he do it every year until his last breath? Why do we need to do this? Let’s be honest. Usually, our Ramadan slips away. We wake up hungry. We eat. We get tired. We watch something. We scroll on our phones. The days pass quickly, and we feel empty inside. But the Last Ten Nights? They are not normal nights. Somewhere inside those dark, quiet nights is a night that Allah (swt) hides. It is called Laylatul Qadr. Worship...

Remain Focused* [[--- Part 8 ----]]

Imagine the best chance of your whole life. It is coming in just a few days. It is waiting for you. It is the Last Ten Nights of Ramadan. This is not just regular time. This is your moment to get close to Allah like never before. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did this every single year until he left this world. He would go into the Masjid and stay there. His wife Aisha (RA) told us this. He did not miss it. And after he was gone, his wives kept doing it.” 📚[Hadith No. 2026, Book of Itikaf, Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 3] This act is called Itikaf. It means you stop the world. For ten days, you stop chasing money, food, and talk. You sit in the House of Allah. You just pray, make Dua, and read Quran. You tell the world: "I am busy with my Creator." But wait. Can you do it? Here is the good news: Almost every single one of us can do this. Look at the rules. They are simple: (1) You are a Muslim. If you love A...

TAFSEER of SUURAH AT-TIN (THE FIG), (Qur’an 95)

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-khamis, 9th day of Ramadhan, 1447AH, Thursday, 26th February, 2026. *_TAFSEER of SUURAH AT-TIN (THE FIG), (Qur’an 95). BismilLah.   This is a short but deeply powerful surah that reminds us of human dignity, accountability, and the path to success. The surah was revealed in Makkah during a time when the Prophet ﷺ faced rejection in Makkah. ALLAH Azzawajal reminds humanity of: Their noble origin, Their potential fall, Their path to eternal success.  Verses 1-3. By the fig and the olive, 2. وَطُورِ سِينِينَ And by Mount Sinai, 3. And by this secure city (Makkah). The oaths at the beginning are powerful. ALLAH Azzawajal swears by: The fig and olive, symbols of blessed lands (many scholars link them to the lands of Prophets like ‘Eesa عليه السلام). Mount Sinai – where ALLAH Azzawajal spoke to Musah عليه السلام. This secure city – Makka...

Remain Focused* [[---- Part 7 ----]]

Dua is that act which ‘connects’ the slave to his Master. Especially in this blessed month of Ramadan, Dua, according to a Hadith, has the unique ability to change destiny. 📚(Tirmidhi). So, Instead of losing your membership card as a Muslim by going to verify about why this and that happened or engaging in useless demonic Sadaqah prescribed by the fortune-tellers or so-called Mallams or Alfas, one of the best approach to every problem or life challenges is Du'a making. But, Why do some du’as (supplications) remain unanswered? *Condition No 5:* Your Failure to Remember or Supplicate for others. Making Du'a for someone secretly is a PASSWORD to getting ur own Du'a answered. Yes. But on condition that, u do not go broadcasting it directly or indirectly to the person or anyone. Evidence: “The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence will certainly be answered.. Every time he/she mak...

STUDIES of SUURAH Al-‘Alaq (Qur’an 96) continues

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum athalaatha, 7th day of Ramadhan, 1447AH, Tuesday, 24th February, 2026. *_STUDIES of SUURAH Al-‘Alaq (Qur’an 96) continues. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our studies from yesterday's reminder on suural Alaq; verses 9–14 (The One Who Prevents Prayer). These verses refer to Abu Jahl, who tried to stop the Prophet ﷺ from praying at the Ka‘bah. Meaning: Have you seen the one who forbids A servant when he prays? ✨ Commentary ALLAH Azzawajal defends those who pray. Even if people oppose you for worshipping ALLAH, remain firm. Ramadan teaches: Protect your salah. Increase sujood. Don’t be shy about your worship. 15–19 (The Command to Prostrate) Meaning: No! If he does not desist, We will drag him by the forelock, A lying, sinful forelock…No! Do not obey him. Prostrate and...

THINGS WHICH BREAK THE FAST

FAJR REMINDER: THINGS WHICH BREAK THE FAST By: Umm Affān Ramaḍān 7, 1447 (24-February-2026) O Muslims! We must be vigilant not to break our fast during the days of Ramaḍān without a valid Islāmic excuse, as this is among the gravest of sins. It is crucial to understand that the acts that invalidate the fast can be categorized into two types. The first category includes actions that require only compensating for the broken fast (Qada‘). These actions are: knowingly eating or drinking (or consuming nourishing substances that replace food and drink); intentionally inducing vomiting; deliberate ejaculation (whether through masturbation or other methods short of sexual intercourse, such as kissing, hugging, or caressing one’s spouse, watching pornographic videos, etc.); and menstruation or post-partum bleeding (even if it begins just before sunset). While these actions invalidate the fast, they only necessitate making it up. The second category demands that one refrain from food and dr...

Remain Focused* [[--- Part 9 ---]]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “Dua and taawwudhat [prayers seeking refuge with Allah] are like a weapon, and a weapon is only as good as the person who is using it; it is not merely the matter of how sharp it is. If the weapon is perfect and free of faults, and the arm of the person using it is strong, and there is nothing stopping him, then he can lay waste the enemy. But if any of these three features is lacking, then the effect will be lacking accordingly.” 📚(Ad-Da’ wad-Dawa’, p. 35) From this statement, it will be clear that there is an etiquette and rulings which must be fulfilled, in the Dua and in the person making the Dua. This is why, Even though the month of Ramadan is a month where our Du'as is accepted, some people's duas will never get answered. Now, *What we must not ignore if we don't want our Du'a rejected:* *Condition No 4:* Failure to Start your du‘...
