*Remain Focused*
[[--- Part 8 ----]]------------------
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Imagine the best chance of your whole life. It is coming in just a few days. It is waiting for you.
It is the Last Ten Nights of Ramadan.
This is not just regular time. This is your moment to get close to Allah like never before. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did this every single year until he left this world. He would go into the Masjid and stay there. His wife Aisha (RA) told us this. He did not miss it. And after he was gone, his wives kept doing it.” 📚[Hadith No. 2026, Book of Itikaf, Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 3]
This act is called Itikaf.
It means you stop the world. For ten days, you stop chasing money, food, and talk. You sit in the House of Allah. You just pray, make Dua, and read Quran. You tell the world: "I am busy with my Creator."
But wait. Can you do it?
Here is the good news: Almost every single one of us can do this. Look at the rules. They are simple:
(1) You are a Muslim. If you love Allah more than any other persons, this is for you.
(2) You are of sound mind. You know what you are doing, and you are choosing Allah on purpose.
(3) You have the right intention (Niyyah). You are not doing this to show off on social media or to tell your friends. You are doing it only for Allah. Just Him.
(4) For the sisters: You just need permission from your husband. If he says yes, you go get your reward!
(5) The Place: You must be in a Masjid where they hold Friday prayer (Jumaat). This way, you never have to leave the blessing zone.
(6) Stay Pure (Wudu): You stay clean. If you break your wudu, you fix it. If you have a wet dream while sleeping, you take a full bath (Ghusl) and continue. Allah does not want to burden you; He wants you pure.
(7) You are Fasting. Yes, you must be fasting. This is Ramadan, so you are already doing this!
Think about this deeply.
Usually, our Ramadan slips away. We eat, we get tired, we watch TV, we scroll on our phones. The days pass. We feel empty.
But the Last Ten Nights? They are different.
Somewhere inside those dark nights is a night better than a thousand months. Laylatul Qadr. Worshipping on that night is better than worshipping for 83 years!
If you sit in Itikaf, you cannot miss it. You are right there, waiting for it. The angels come down. The peace fills the Masjid. And you are there, alone with Allah (swt), while the rest of the world is sleeping.
Imagine coming out of the Masjid on Eid morning.
You walk out as a different person. Your heart is light. Your sins are washed. You spent ten days with the King of the Universe. You left your bed, your food, your phone—for Him. And He never forgets those who come to Him.
This year, do not just fast like you always do. Do not let this Ramadan pass you by like a normal month.
Next time (next episode), we will talk about what breaks your Itikaf—so you know how to protect it, In Shaa Allah.
To be continued...
