Shine Your Eyes

 *Shine Your Eyes*

بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم

Ramadan is almost here. Many of us are waiting for special timetables for night prayers. These timetables are innovations. They list special prayers, special Surahs for each raka’ah, and special names of Allah to say every night.

My People,

We must ask one important question:

Where did this special night prayers come from?

You see!

In Islam, our proof must be clear:

(1) Is it a command from Allah (swt) in the Quran?

(2) Is it from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)?

(3) Is it from Prophet's companions like Abu Bakr, Umar, Usman or Ali?

If the answer is NO, then it is an innovation (bid'ah).

*An Example to Understand:*

Surah Al-Fatihah is one of the best Surahs. But if someone recites it two or three times in a single raka’ah of prayer, is that correct? No. It is not what the Prophet (PBUH) taught. Even though the Surah is good, doing it in a new way is wrong.

Now,

It is the same with these special Ramadan night prayer plans. Yes. The Prophet (PBUH) taught us Taraweeh and Tahajjud. But he did not teach us a new special prayer with a fixed Surah and a fixed name of Allah for every single night of Ramadan. His companions also did not do this.

What does this mean?

Acts of worship that are not from the Quran or the Prophet (PBUH) get ZERO reward. In fact, they can bring Allah’s anger because we are adding new things to His religion.

The Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Whoever invents something into this religion of ours that is not part of it, will have it rejected." 📚(Sahih Bukhari)

Our Advice:

(1) Shine your eyes. Ask questions before you allow someone push you to regret.

(2) Ask for proof. If someone gives you a special act of worship, ask: "Show me the evidence from the Quran or the authentic Sunnah."

(3) Follow the true guidance. Stick to the prayers we know: the five daily prayers, Taraweeh, Tahajjud, and the general voluntary prayers (nawafil) the Prophet taught us—without adding new fixed rules he did not give.

(4) Learn from Ahlu-Sunnah. Take your knowledge from people who use only the Quran and Hadith as their proof.

Slaves of Allah,

Ramadan is a month of great reward. Do not waste your time on acts that have no reward. Worse, do not fall into innovation.

Please share this message. Save yourself and others. Let us worship Allah only in the way He and His Messenger taught us.

May Allah (swt) help us to use Ramadan correctly and accept our worship. Ameen Ya Hayyu La Yamootu Abadah.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD

*BEST TIME FOR TAHAJJUD* It is best to delay this prayer to the last third portion of the night. Abu Hurairah reports that the Messenger of Allah said: "Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven during the last third of the night, inquiring: 'Who will call on Me so that I may respond to him? Who is asking something of Me so I may give it to him? Who is asking for My forgiveness so I may forgive him?"' This is related by the group. 'Amr ibn Abasah reports that he heard the Prophet say: "The closest that a slave comes to his Lord is during the middle of the latter portion of the night. If you can be among those who remember Allah, the Exalted One, at that time then do so." This is related by al-Hakim who grades it sahih according to Muslim's standards, and at-Tirmizhi calls it hasan sahih. AnNasa'i and Ibn Khuzaimah also recorded it. Abu Muslim asked Abu Zharr: "Which late-night prayer is the best?" He said: "I asked the Messenger of A...
