*Pick Your Calls*
[[--Episode 8--]]------------------
بسم الله الرحمان الرجيم
Let’s speak simply. Ramadan is coming. It’s the king of all months. A guest that brings endless mercy, forgiveness, and freedom from Hellfire.
But great guests deserve great preparation.
Yes!
The First Muslims were smarter than us. They don't jump into Ramadan. They prepared for Ramadan six months before it came. They knew its value.
If we want a Ramadan better than last year, then, we must start preparing for it. Yes. And we must start today.
My People,
Fasting is more than no food or water. Yes. It is also: no bad words, no angry shouts, no dirty thoughts, no wasting time watching movies or listening to music.
We must train our stomachs and our tongues and our hearts😃. Start now. Yes. When someone upsets you, be quiet. When a bad thought comes, replace it with "SubhanAllah." This is training for the big race or journey.
*The Quran is the Heart of Ramadan:*
Allah (swt) says "Ramadan is the month the Quran came" 📚(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:185). So Ramadan and Quran are like soul and body—they belong together.
Many aim to finish the Quran 1 or 2 times in Ramadan. That’s beautiful. But if you wait until Ramadan Day 1 to open the Quran, you will hardly achieve your target.
The Key:
Make Quran Your Friend NOW. Read only a little, but read every single day. Even 5 pages after Fajr. Even five page before sleeping. Let your heart get used to its light.
Now,
Don’t worry if you can’t read all the Arabic yet.
Read what you know. Repeat it. Even one Surah you know by heart, read it daily. Allah (swt) sees your effort. He loves consistency.
The Prophet ﷺ gave us two beautiful gifts:
(1) If you read Quran beautifully, you will be with the noble angels.
(2) If you struggle, stammer, and find it hard, you get double the reward.
So no one is left out. Your difficulty is a jewel in Allah’s sight. Every letter is a mountain of reward.
Nana Aisha (r.a) told us: Read "Alif, Lam, Mim"—that’s not one letter. That’s three letters. Each letter = 10 rewards." 📚(Sunan At-Tirmizi
Imagine the blessings flowing just from a few lines a day!
Muslim Faithful,
Don’t JUMP into Ramadan Empty. Yes. Because many people jump into Ramadan with no plan. Then they jump out tired, unchanged, with empty hands. We don’t want that. We want to come out of Ramadan forgiven, renewed, and closer to Allah (swt).
My brother, my sister,
Ramadan is a treasure chest. The key is preparation. Start turning that key now. When the moon is sighted, you will already be warmed up, ready to run toward Allah’s mercy.
Let this Ramadan be the one where you change forever.
The first step begins today.
May Allah accept our efforts and let us taste the sweetness of faith in this coming Ramadan. Ameen Ya Hayyu La Yamootu Abadah.
