FAJR REMINDER: APPRECIATION BEGETS MORE

Dear brethren, we recognize that Allāh has blessed us immeasurably, both in ways we can see and those we cannot. Therefore, it is essential for us to continually show our appreciation. But how do we genuinely express gratitude to Allāh? Is it merely by saying “Alḥamdulillāh”? No!
True appreciation of Allāh involves acknowledging the blessings He has bestowed upon us—both known and unknown—fully submitting to Him, and sincerely worshiping Him alone. Allāh states: “And (remember) when your Lord proclaimed: If you give thanks (by accepting faith and worshipping none but Allāh), I will give you more (of My Blessings), but if you are thankless (i.e. disbelievers), verily! My Punishment is indeed severe.” [Sūrah Ibrāhīm (14): 7]
Let’s accentuate an important point: appreciation leads to abundance! Thank Allāh, and you will receive even more blessings. Indeed, Allāh is truly Magnificent. Additionally, appreciating Allāh is connected with Eemān (recognizing His Blessings, fully accepting Islām, and worshiping Him exclusively), while a lack of appreciation is associated with Kufr (denying His Blessings, disbelieving in Him, and not worshiping Him alone).
As such, disbelievers are the truly ungrateful ones and the most detestable of people. Allāh says about them: “Verily, the worst of moving (living) creatures before Allāh are those who disbelieve, so they shall not believe.” [Sūrah Al-Anfāl (8): 55] They deny the true worship of Allāh, turning to others alongside Him. How could they? It is only commonsensical for mankind to worship their Creator—the One (Allāh) who fashioned them. Subḥānallāh!
I beseech Allāh to make us always appreciate Him and remain steadfast against disbelief. Aameen.
