*Passing wind in salah: waswas of shaitan*
If a person is not sure whether wind came out of him, his wudoo’ is not invalidated by this mere uncertainty; rather he has to carry on with his prayer, and in this case his prayer is valid and he does not have to repeat it, unless he is certain that he did pass wind. This is evident in the hadith of Ibn "Abbas (rad):
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Satan comes to one of you in Salat and blows air in his bottom, so he imagines that he has realised air yet he did not. So if he gets that feeling he should not leave his prayer unless he hears the sound (of the air) or smells its odour." [Reported by Al-Bazzar].
How about the wind that comes out through the women's front passage (vagina)?
This does not invalidate wudoo’, because it is not coming from a site of najaasah (impurity) like the wind that comes from the back passage. Fataawa Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (4/147).
