*ATTAINMENT OF PARADISE*

*Paradise is not Obtained by Wishful Thinking*

Every son of Adam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) is a slave. You are either a slave of Allaah (ﷻ) or a slave of your desires. You either live your life by the rules of Allaah (ﷻ) by fully submitting and surrendering yourself to Him (ﷻ) or by your own rules and worldly desires.

How can your heart ever connect to Allaah (ﷻ) and His religion if it’s chained by desires and love of this temporary world?

How can Jannah be yours when you are not even on the route to Jannah?

What are you striving for my dear brothers and sisters, what?

You are running away from As-Salaat yet dreaming of Jannah? Neglecting the key to Jannah, yet wishing to be inside one day? Most of us neglects righteous deeds but engage ourselves in wishful thinking of Paradise.

Allaah (ﷻ) says in the Qur'an:

*لَّيْسَ بِأَمَانِيِّكُمْ وَلَآ أَمَانِىِّ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِۗ*

*“Paradise is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture . . .”*

That is, the religion and attainment of Jannah is not accepted on account of wishful thinking or mere hopes. Rather, the accepted religion relies on what resides in the heart and that which is made truthful through actions, this is what would make Allaah (ﷻ) to have mercy on you and admit you to Jannah.

Expecting Paradise whilst neglecting righteous deeds, is like waiting for a ship to arrive at the airport. It is painful to see born Muslims chasing the lifestyle of the disbelievers by drinking, clubbing, fornicating, etc.

Allaah (ﷻ) issued us a warning in continuation of the Ayaah:

*مَن يَعْمَلْ سُوٓءًا يُجْزَ بِهِۦ وَلَا يَجِدْ لَهُۥ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا*

*“. . . Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allaah a protector or a helper.”*

(An-Nisa' 4:123)

Do not be overly pleased by your wealth and ease. A righteous servant is tested by trials and tribulations. In such situations we should be patient.

Allaah (ﷻ) makes a promise to the patient servants in the next Ayaah:

*وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ*

*“And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer, . . .”*

*“. . . Those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.”*

(An-Nisa' 4:124)

Here, Allaah (ﷻ) stated that He (ﷻ) will admit the sincere believers into Jannah and will not withhold any of their righteous deeds, even the weight of a Naqir - speck on the back of a date-stone.

__

Ya Ibn Adam! The key to Jannah is in obeying Allaah (ﷻ) and following what He (ﷻ) has legislated through the words of His honorable Messengers.

Remember, _*Dunya is not a resting place, it's a testing place, a place of trials and tribulations for the believers*_. So be steadfast and seek closeness to Allaah (ﷻ) through righteous deeds and be patient, indeed, Allaah (ﷻ) is with the patient.

May Allaah (ﷻ) grant us ease, mercy, guide us through the straight path and admits us into His Paradise.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
