30 Tips for a Guilt-Free Ramadān! DAY 18 Are You Like The Old Man In Salah?

﷽ *30 Tips for a Guilt-Free Ramadān!* *DAY 18* *Are You Like The Old Man In Salah?* Two years ago, I prayed Taraweeh next to a very old man. I noticed that he struggled to get up or stand on his feet (he was shaking from weakness), but he stood up for the entire Isha and Taraweeh prayers. Someone might have told him to sit down and relax, but you could tell from his determination at every rak’ah that he wanted to stand up for Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala during Ramadan and didn't want to sit down. The old man reminded me that sometimes the measure of how much you love someone is how much effort  you're willing to put in for them. If we truly love Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, shouldn't all of us put that extra bit of effort for Him?  Think of one area or one activity where you show Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala that you're putting that extra bit of effort for Him. It could be waking up for Tahajjud or praying those extra sunnah prayers or going out to feed  people.

DON'T BE SAD Episode 23 THE PRAYER ... THE PRAYER

﷽ *DON'T BE SAD* Episode 23 *THE PRAYER ... THE PRAYER* Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 153: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ O you who believe! Seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer). Truly! Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). If you are best with fear and anxieties, stand up right now and pray your soul will find comfort and solace. The prayer - as long as you perform it sincerely with a wakeful heart - is guaranteed to have this effect for you. Whenever the Prophet (Blessings and Peace of ALLĀH be upon him) was afflicted with hardship, he would say: "O' Bilāl! Give us comfort and call for the prayer." The prayer was his job and pleasure; it was the delight of his eye . I have read biographies of many righteous people, who would always turn to prayer when they were surrounded by difficulties and hardship, people who would pray until their strength, will, and resolution returned to t...

Surah At-Taubah, Verse 15/16

And remove the anger of their (believers') hearts. Allah accepts the repentance of whom He wills. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. #COMMENTARY When the victory comes and the wounds are healed, a great peace comes to the hearts of those who have suffered, striven, and struggled. The fighting was necessity forced by injustice and oppression. When ALLĀH's Law is established, the fire of indignation is quelled, and the true Peace of Islam is attained. ALLĀH's mercy is unlimited. When evil is destroyed, many of those who were enticed by evil will come into the fold or truth and righteousness, and the cessation of war and conflict will bring peace, certainly to those who fought for the right, but also possibly to those whose eyes have been opened to the working of ALLĀH's Law and who in healing reconciliation become members of the Brotherhood of Peace in I...

PRAISING OURSELVES IS HARAAM AND DANGEROUS ATTRIBUTE

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat 18th day of Ramadhaan (Friday 30th April 2021). *_PRAISING OURSELVES IS HARAAM AND DANGEROUS ATTRIBUTE_*. BismilLah.  Remembering the Greatness of ALLAH, The Almighty, and that Pride is one of HIS Attributes as such you dare compare yourself to OUR CREATOR. In a Hadeeth on the authority of Abu Hurayrah the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam reported that ALLAH The Almighty said that Pride, Glory and Greatness are among HIS Attributes which none of HIS CREATION shares with HIM. Thus, he who claims to possess such qualities, ALLAH will punish him and doom him to Hell. [In Saheeh Muslim]. Remembering man's origin and weakness. ALLAH Says (what means): HE created man from a sperm-drop; then at once he is a clear adversary [Quran 16:4]. Meaning you are nothing worth praising yourself regardless of what you've done.  Islam is a complete way of life and I'm sure all reading this knows that we are to say IN SHAA ALLAH (By the will of ALLAH)...

A LITTLE FIRE THAT DESTROYED THE ENTIRE FAMILY.🔥🔥😤😤😤🦇

Assalamualaikum 💔💔💃🕺💔💔  A LITTLE FIRE THAT DESTROYED THE ENTIRE FAMILY.🔥🔥😤😤😤🦇 It all started on Monday night. I noticed a sad countenance on my husband. All efforts to know what was actually  bothering his mind ended in vain. Our family has been a very happy family. In fact, other families in the neighbourhood are praying to be like us because of love and trust in our marriage.  I asked him if I should give him a cup of water, but my husband rather shouted, “Aisha! who is Mr Salim” I was like... what's going on, and I explained. Aisha: Honey, I have told you over and over again that Mr Salim was my ex-man before I met you, when I have not had d full understanding of d deen.  Please, Honey, I am saying nothing but the truth. With all my clear explanation, he didn't believe me. He called me all sorts of names. Is it hypocrite, liar,  pretender,  prostitute? But I didn't say a word. I knew that a single word would scatter the whole thing....

ETIQUETTES WHEN BREAKING THE FAST. The Prophet way of Breaking Fast

﷽ ➖➖➖ *ETIQUETTES WHEN BREAKING THE FAST* ➖➖➖ *The Prophet way of Breaking Fast* ➖➖➖   One of the greatest joys for the fasting Muslim is when the time comes for breaking the fast, as he is hopeful of his reward with Allaah (ﷻ), and that his body can finally relieve itself of the day-long hunger.  In a hadith Qudsi, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: _*"...The one who fasts has two (occasions) of joy: one is when he breaks the fast, he is glad about the breaking of (the fast), and (the other) is when he meets his Lord he is glad about his fast."*_ [Sahih Muslim, 2567] _ However, as Muslims who already have the best role model in Rasulullah (ﷺ) to learn from, we should break our fast with the best etiquettes, which are the sunnah of our Nabiy (ﷺ).  Among the known sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ) regarding the breaking of fast are; 1️⃣ *Avoid Delaying Breaking the Fast.* It is not from the best manner that one should deliberately delay breaking of the fast, the Prophet (ﷺ) said:  *...

DON'T BE SAD Episode 22 FIND CONSOLATION BY REMEMBERING THE AFFLICTED

﷽ *DON'T BE SAD* Episode 22 *FIND CONSOLATION BY REMEMBERING THE AFFLICTED* Look around to the right and to the left. Do you not see the afflicted and the unfortunate? In every house there is mourning and upon every cheek run tears. How many tribulations and how many people persevere with patience? You are not alone in your troubles, which are few compared to those of others. How many sick people remain bedridden for years while suffering from unspeakable pain? How many have not seen the light of the sun for years due to their imprisonment, having knowledge of nothing but the four corners of their cell? How many men and women have lost their dear children in the prime of youth? How many people are troubled or tormented? Find consolation with those that are worse off than you, know that this life is like a prison for the believer, an abode of grief and sadness. In the morning castles are bustling with inhabitants; then in an instant, disaster occurs, and they empty and desolate. Li...

Surah At-Taubah, Verse 13/14

Will you not fight a people who have violated their oaths (pagans of Makkah) and intended to expel the Messenger, while they did attack you first? Do you fear them? Allah has more right that you should fear Him, if you are believers. #COMMENTARY The argument now takes a new turn. An appeal is made to the Muslims on various grounds: 1. The shameless disregard of treaties by the enemy, 2. The under-hand plots to discredit the Holy Prophet, and turn him out of Madīnah as he had been turned out of Makkah, 3. The aggressive taken by the Quraish and their confederates in Madīnah after the treaty of Hudaibiyya (A.H. 6, Dhul-Qa'adah. February, 638), 4. The manly attitude that fears ALLĀH rather than men, and  5. The need to prove our sincere faith by test and trial and str...

HOW DANGEROUS IS OUR TONGUE?

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-khamis 17th day of Ramadhaan (Thursday 29th April 2021). *_HOW DANGEROUS IS OUR TONGUE?_* BismilLaah.  Ibn `Umar (radiallahu anhuma) reported: The Messenger of Allah (salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “Do not indulge in excessive talk except when remembering ALLAH. Excessive talking without the Remembrance of ALLAH hardens the heart; and those who are the farthest from ALLAH are those whose hearts are hard.” [At-Tirmidhi]. If one indulges in idle talk rather than the remembrance of ALLAH, his heart becomes hardened, which is a sign of being far from Allah’s Mercy. One should therefore occupy himself with the remembrance of ALLAH. If we observe it in our daily life, we see that Sometimes a person utters a good sentence which pleases an individual and he reforms himself or holds himself from doing something wrong. Such a sentence or utterance is highly rewarded by ALLAH. Similarly, sometime a person utters a mischievous sentence, the ruinous ef...

REMINDER

*REMINDER* 👇 *The truth is social media makes us impatient. It rushes us to want what someone else has, to be the person you see on your timeline, to live someone else’s life. Don’t let this happen. Think about this

*Think about this...* 👇 *We live in such an impatient society. Everything has to be quick, instantaneous, fast, in a hurry. Sadly we also expect the same from the Almighty when we pray, asking Him to fulfil our wishes. We forget that He has His own timing. So wait patiently!* *Don't let this world blind you with selfish dreams and delusions in your heart. Know that none of that will last. It will only bring you darkness and pain in the end. Turn towards the Almighty and let Him guide you and light your way!* *Remember everyone has untold stories of pain and struggle. There’s no exception. That’s what makes our lives different from one another. That’s why we need to be more understanding and compassionate towards others. Stop judging!* *There's nothing perfect about this life. 30 Tips for a Guilt-Free Ramadān! DAY 16 Success Only Comes From Allah

﷽ *30 Tips for a Guilt-Free Ramadān!* *DAY 16* *Success Only Comes From Allah* On this very day, over 1400 years ago, the great battle of Badr took place. We all know its story and how Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala granted victory to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) on that  day. But what lessons can we learn from this battle that is relevant to our productivity? Here’s one: After the battle was won, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala revealed the following verse: “And Allah has already made you victorious at Badr, when you were a weak little force. So fear Allah much that you may be grateful” (Surat Aal-Imran; 3:123). This was a reminder to the Muslims that any success or victory is from Allah and Allah alone. They shouldn’t be arrogant and forget the source of their success. Sometimes when you’re super productive and you achieve a  great deal in a day, it’s easy to assume that your success comes from your skills ...

DON'T BE SAD Episode 21 ACCEPT LIFE AS IT IS

﷽ *DON'T BE SAD* Episode 21 *ACCEPT LIFE AS IT IS* The pleasures of life are short-lived, and more often than not, they are followed by sorrow. Life means responsibility, a journey wherein change is constant and difficulties are relentless in their onslaught. You will not find a father, a wife, or friend and is free from problems. Almighty ALLĀH has willed for this world to be filled with two opposites: good and evil, righteousness and corruption, happiness and misery. Thus goodness, uprightness, and happiness are for Paradise; evil, corruption, and misery are for the Fire. The Prophet (Blessings and Peace of ALLĀH be upon him) said: "This world is cursed along with all that is in it, except for those: the remembrance of ALLĀH, what follows it (i.e good deeds and whatever ALLĀH loves), the Scholar and the student." So live according to your reality without always envisioning the ideal life, one that is free from worry and toil. Accept life as it is and adapt life accordi...

(In this way) We explain the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail for a people who know. #COMMENTARY The chance of repentance and mercy to the worst enemies is again emphasised, in order that people with any understand may not be misled into thinking that war was an easy or light matter. This emphasis is balanced by the emphasis in the next verse on the causes which made war inevitable for those with any self-respect. But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and attack your ...

30 Tips for a Guilt-Free Ramadān! DAY 15 Have You Hit The Halfway Mark?

﷽ *30 Tips for a Guilt-Free Ramadān!* *DAY 15* *Have You Hit The Halfway Mark?* Here are answers to a few frequently asked questions: Q. How can you tell that you’re physically tired vs.  simply being lazy? A. It’s easy for our laziness to be masked as physical tiredness. We would stand at Taraweeh and our legs would be shaking or reciting Qur’an and our eyelids  would be drooping, but the moment we go out of the  mosque or close the Qur’an, suddenly we’re feeling very energetic! We have to be careful of this, catch ourselves and rebuke it when we find out we’re not tired, but simply being lazy. Try to find the root cause for this laziness; is it lack of sincerity? Low eman? A sin you’ve committed that’s preventing you from enjoying the good deed? Make dua that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala removes such laziness  from you. You don’t want it to ruin your Ramadan. However, if your body is genuinely aching and you haven’t slept properly for days, then you’re physicall...

The ultimate challenge that exhausts all the challenges of the world is the #Holy Qur'an

The ultimate challenge that exhausts all the challenges of the world is the #Holy Qur'an.  Simply produce ONE chapter like it (the Qur'an) and publish it to possess the following qualities: 1) Have it preserved word for word, character-for-character, 1442+ years from today while matching the same eloquence, style, and linguistic miracles using the Arabic language. 2) Have it be a means of guiding over 2 billion people worldwide. 3) Have not a single error or contradiction in its entirety. 4) Have it so that all its prophesies are fulfilled in the far future. 5) Have it so that if all of its written copies disappeared it would be 100% memorized word for word, character-for-character by millions. 6) Have it so that it is memorized entirely by children who are at a minimal age of 5🤓👍🏾. 7) Have it so that it is recited and applied worldwide at any given second. The Qur'an is thus, literally, the greatest challenge of mankind to ever exist: وَإِن كُنتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِّمَّا ن...

ABUSE (A short story) PART1,2,3/4

ABUSE (A short story) PART ONE Anat, 28. Tall, beautiful. The 4th of five children and the first daughter.  A graduate of Home Economics. Married Abdul-Hafeez Oriire 6 years ago. After Anat accepted AbdulAfeez's proposal, they had some discussions around their future. He told her his dad died 20 years ago when the last child of their family who was now 27 was just 7 years old.  His mom raised the 5 of them, all boys single handedly. AbdulAfeez was the 4th out of five. And presently, the first 3, Abdulateef, Abdul-Hakeem and Abdulazeez were not in the country. They were married and working in the diaspora.
