Alhamdulillah!* We have successfully come to the end of Sūrat Al-Anfāl

 ﷽

*Alhamdulillah!* We have successfully come to the end of Sūrat Al-Anfāl, or The Spoils of War (Qur-ān chapter 8) in my Daily Reminders of The Arabic Text, Translation and Commentary of two (2) Verses from the Glorious Qur-ān everyday. First of all, I wish to offer my special thanks and gratitude to Almighty Allāh my Creator, who is the First, the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden for giving me the life, the permission, the assistance, the health, the wealth, the strength, the courage, tolerance, perseverance, knowledge, wisdom and skill to undertake this gigantic Pure Islamic Education project. I also offer special prayers to His noble Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and Peace of Allāh be upon him), the seal of all Prophets. For a work of this nature and magnitude can never be successful without divine guidance and blessings of Allāh (Sub-haanahu wata'aala). I am indeed grateful to Almighty Allāh, the Most-Gracious, the Most-Merciful.

In Almighty ALLĀH's infinite and special mercy, I have completed Eight Sūras within One (1) Year, Eight (8) Months and One (1) Week. These Sūras are:

1. Sūrat Al-Fātīha, or The Opening Chapter (7 verses).

2. Sūrat Al-Baqarah, or The Cow (286 Verses).

3. Sūrat Āl-i-'Imrān, or The Family of 'Imrān (200 Verses).

4. Sūrat An-Nisā, or The Women (176 Verses).

5. Sūrat Al-Mā'idah, or The Table Spread (120 verses).

6. Sūrat Al-An'ām, or The Cattle (165 Verses).

7. Sūrat Al-A'rāf, or The Heights (206 Verses).

8. Sūrat Al-Anfāl, or The Spoils of War (75 Verses).

In-sha-Allāh! Tomorrow I will start from:

9. Sūrat At-Taubah, or The Repentance (129 Verses).

I hope you are putting what you learnt into practice? If Yes, "Alhamdulillah!" If No, "A'ūdhu billaah!" As a Muslim, you should always read the Glorious Qur-ān, learn its meanings, ponder over its meanings and most importantly, put what you learnt into practice.

You can also plan to memorise the Glorious Qur-ān through these two verses I am sharing everyday. According to the narration of Hafs, the Glorious Qur-ān has 6236 Verses. So, if you memorise 2 verses everyday, In-sha-Allāh, you will memorise the Glorious Qur-ān at exactly 8 years, 6 months and 7 days. While, according to the narration of Warsh, the Glorious Qur-ān has 6214 Verses. So, if you memorise 2 verses everyday, In-sha-Allāh, you will memorise the Glorious Qur-ān at exactly 8 years, 5 months and 27 days.

Nowadays, small children are memorising the Glorious Qur-ān, if you have not memorise the Glorious Qur-ān or your children have not memorise the Glorious Qur-ān, indeed you have missed a lot, but it's never too late, what are you waiting for? Just think and plan for yourself or your children on how and when you want to memorise the Glorious Qur-ān. Tell yourself, I can do it and I will do it In-sha-Allāh. Almighty Allāh will surely help you and make it easy for you. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. With Almighty Allāh, all things are possible. A word is enough for the wise! May Allāh make it easy for me and you.

May Allāh (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) in His infinite and special mercy, grant us the best opportunity to always pick and read the Glorious Qur-ān more than the way we always pick up and use our phones. May He also guide and help us to memorise the Glorious Qur-ān fluently, know the correct & best meanings of the Glorious Qur-ān, ponder over its meanings and most importantly, practice what we learnt from the Glorious Qur-ān as well as grant us Jannatul Firdaus, Ameen. Please, include me in your positive prayers.

Jazākumullāhu khairan.

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Jumaadal Uula 1447AH, Thursday, 13th November, 2025.  *_HELPING OTHERS WITH INTENTION FOR ALLAH'S HELP IN RETURN_*. BismilLah.  When we help our brothers and sisters in Islam, in reality, we are helping ourselves. The Messenger of ALLAH (S.A.W) said: He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, ALLAH Azzawajallah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will make it easy for him in the world and the hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, ALLAH ALLAH Azzawajallah will conceal his faults in this ALLAH Azzawajallah world and the Hereafter, for ALLAH helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ "Muslim 2699. AlhamdulilLah.  With this I hope with immediate effect we will all strive to help each other in any possible way such as making dua for each other, supporting our relatives and those in need in ou...

THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal 1447AH, Tuesday, 26th August 2025. *_THE MUSLIM WOMAN AND HER OWN SELF_*. BismilLah.  Islam encourages Muslims in general to stand out among people, readily distinguishable by their dress, appearance and behaviour, so that they will be a good example, worthy of the great message that they bring to humanity. According to the hadith narrated by the great Sahabi Ibn al-Hanzaliyyah, the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam ) told his Companions, when they were travelling to meet some brothers in faith: "You are going to visit your brothers, so repair your saddles and make sure that you are dressed well, so that you will stand out among people like an adornment, for ALLAH (SWT) does not love ugliness." Reported by Imam Abu Dawud, 4/83, in Kitab al-libas, bab ma ja'a fi isbal al-izar. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) considered an unkempt and careless appearance, and scruffy clothes and furnishings, to be...
