Do You Consider The Salaah Difficult?

*Do You Consider The Salaah Difficult?*

➖ ➖ ➖

Prayer, in the prescribed manner, is obligatory upon every Muslim who has attained the age of accountability.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

*_Prayer is the best of prescribed things, so the one who is able to do a lot of it, let him do a lot of it.”_*

(Al-Tabaraani (1/84); authenticated by al-Albaani)

But, a lot of Muslims find it difficult to perform their Salaah. Usually, it starts out as laziness, then advances to the feeling of numbness whenever the Adhaan is called.

After a while, they start to feel hollow, like there's a void that urgently needs to be filled. Many are lucky to realize at this stage that it's because they miss their Salaah. But, they're still numb, so, no matter how much they want to, they just can't get up to perform their Salaah.

It has been agreed upon by the majority of scholars that a Muslim becomes a disbeliever if he/she abandons his/her prayers. They base this on the saying of the Prophet (ﷺ):

_*"What lies between a man and infidelity is the abandonment of prayer.”*_

(Sunan Abi Dawud 4678, authenticated by Al-Albaani)

*Why is it hard for some to offer their prayers?*

➖ ➖ ➖

📍Allaah (ﷻ) said in the Noble Qur'an:

*وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلْخَٰشِعِينَ*

*...and indeed, it (the prayer) is difficult except for the humbly submissive (to Allaah)*

*ٱلَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُوا۟ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ*

*(They [Khashi'een] are those) Who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him.*

(Al-Baqarah, 2:45-46)

Because of this, it is easy for them to perform the acts of obedience and refrain from the prohibitions. Therefore, observing prayer, or the advice to observe it is burdensome only upon those who doubt the meeting with their Lord.

Among the factors that lead to abandoning the prayer are:

*📍Sinning:* Sinning hardens the heart. It is one of the things that most distract a person from doing acts of worship and increase the Shaytaan’s influence on him.

*📍Bad company:* As a person is basically who his friend is and usually mirrors his actions.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

_*“Verily, the parable of good company and bad company is like that of a seller of musk and a blacksmith....As for the blacksmith, he will burn your clothes or you will notice a bad smell.”*_

[Sahih al-Bukharī      1995     , Sahih Muslim      2628     ]

📍The more a person’s faith declines, the less he will be concerned to do that which Allaah has enjoined upon him, and this is also because of his weak faith. And vice versa.

We ask Allaah to make us among His righteous slaves and those who are close to Him.

*آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ*

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will ...

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w...
