 ﷽ *300 MIRACLES OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ* Number 88.  *Seeking blessings from his grave removed a drought which occurred at the time of Sayyidina Umar's reign.* • Sayyidina Malik al-Darr narrates: “The people suffered a drought during Umar's caliphate, whereupon a man [according to Imam ibn Hajar, it was the companion Sayyidina Bilal ibn al-Harith] came to the grave of the Messenger of Allah and said, “Messenger of Allah! Ask for rain for your Community, for verily they have but perished.” After this, the Messenger of Allah appeared to him in a dream and told him, “Go to Umar and give him my greeting, then tell him that they will be watered. Tell him: Be clever!” The man went and told Umar. The latter wept and said: “My Lord! ﷽  *Surah Yunus, Verse 71:* وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ نُوحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُم مَّقَامِي وَتَذْكِيرِي بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَعَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَأَجْمِعُوا أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَاءَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ اقْضُوا إِلَيَّ وَلَا تُنظِرُونِ And recite to them the news of Nuh (Noah). When he said to his people: "O my people, if my stay (with you), and my reminding (you) of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah is hard on you, then I put my trust in Allah. So devise your plot, you and your partners, and let not your plot be in doubt for you. For bad dreams we should just recite aayaatul kursy, Ikhlas (qul huwallahu a had), falaq and nas then dry spit to your left 3 times. Don't tell anyone and in shaa ALLAH nothing will happen to you. He studied books of Arabic literature through the eyes of others. He would listen as others read to him books of history and commentaries on the classics. He used to have one of his friends read to him until 3 o'clock in the morning. Today, he is considered to be a reference book in literature and history. Mustafa Ameen, a columnist for Ash-Sharq al-Awsat, wrote: "Be patient with oppressors and wrong-doers for the only five minutes. ﷽  *Surah Yunus, Verse 69:* قُلْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ Say: "Verily, those who invent lie against Allah will never be successful" #COMMENTARY In Qur-ānic language "prosperity" refers both to our every-day life and to the higher life within us, to the Present and the Future, health and strength, opportunities and resources, a spirit of contentment, and the power of influencing others. Here there seems to be an extra touch of meaning. Good deeds: Surah An-Nahl, Verse 97: مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter). 2.  *Pearls Of Motivation* When you want to give advice, do so in such a way that people want to listen to you. Don’t be mean and hurtful. Be genuine in wanting to correct their ways and help them get back on track. Your sincerity will long be remembered.

﷽ *First Hadīth Of The Day* حَدَّثَنَا  أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ  أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ  سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏"‏ مَثَلُ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي  سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ـ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ يُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ ـ  كَمَثَلِ الصَّائِمِ الْقَائِمِ، وَتَوَكَّلَ اللَّهُ لِلْمُجَاهِدِ فِي  سَبِيلِهِ بِأَنْ يَتَوَفَّاهُ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ، أَوْ  يَرْجِعَهُ سَالِمًا مَعَ أَجْرٍ أَوْ غَنِيمَةٍ ‏" ‏‏.‏  Narrated Abu Huraira:                         I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "The example of a Mujahid in Allah's Cause-- and Allah knows better  who really strives in His Cause----is like a person who fasts and prays continuously. ﷽ *Surah Yunus, Verse 67:* هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ He it is Who has appointed for you the night that you may rest therein, and the day to make things visible (to you).
