When you think you are patient.

At times we get hurt so much that we feel our patience is reaching its limit. Sometimes we feel like breaking at some point. What if I tell you a beautiful story of someone more patient than anyone?

His name is Yousuf, the son of Yakub. He is a Prophet, son of a Prophet, grandson of a Prophet. Yet, Allah tested His Patience. 

When Yousuf was a child, He was taken by his siblings and thrown into a deep well with the intention to kill him or make him disappear. 

Yousuf was then taken by travelers and then sold to someone. Then he became a housemaid (servant) in a royal house.

Yousuf was accused of rape by the wife of the King when in reality she was the one who wanted Yousuf to commit adultery with her but he refused. 

Yousuf was unjustly imprisoned for 10 years. He couldn't see his parents or anyone. Yet, He is a Prophet of Allah. 

Years later he came out and became a ruler. Yousuf met his brothers who threw him away. Do you know what Yuosuf did to them? He says "Go, you are forgiven. Your action wasn't from you, it was from shaitan".

Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!!

Brothers and sisters, Yousuf was elevated by Allah after passing the test. He spent almost his entire life under a test. So do not protest or complain when some calamity or test befalls you. 

Be patient... bcos Allah is with those who are patient (Q2:153)
