A true (good practicing) Muslim or Muslimah will spend his or her money in the following ways

*A true (good practicing) Muslim or Muslimah will spend his or her money in the following ways:* 1. Sadaqa - For the sake of Allah. Sadaqa multiplies the wealth, it keeps us away from harm, danger and punishment of the grave. If done properly, sadaqa jariya keeps sending rewards even after death.  2. Family - The Prophet says the best place to spend is on family. If you spend on your family, you get the reward of sadaqa. Spending on family has many benefits. It strengthens love and respect. It prevents family members especially wife and children from stealing, begging and lacking in general. Being nice to them makes one a good Muslim as mentioned by Al-Bukhari. 3. Orphans - No one receives more attention in the Qur’an like the orphans. Allah stresses their status and the benefit of helping them. Find at least one or two orphans in your family or neighbourhood, support their education, health care, feeding, anything. The benefits are: your children will be taken care of by Allah when

DON'T BE SAD Episode 145

﷽ *DON'T BE SAD* Episode 145 *THE INGREDIENTS OF HAPPINESS* In a Hadīth related by Tirmidhi, the Prophet (Blessings and Peace of ALLĀH be upon him) said: "Whoever spends the night safely in his place of sleep, while he is physically healthy and has sufficient sustenance for his day, it is as if he achieved the world in its entirety." The meaning of this is that if one has enough food and a safe place to sleep, then he has achieved the best of the good things in this world. And many are those who are at this level in life but are thankless nonetheless. ALLĀH, the Almighty, said to His Messenger (Blessings and Peace of ALLĀH be upon him): Surah Al-Maeda, Verse 3:

DON'T BE SAD Episode 144

﷽ *DON'T BE SAD* Episode 144 *ALLĀH (ALONE) IS SUFFICIENT FOR US, AND HE IS THE BEST DISPOSER OF AFFAIRS (FOR US).* Prophet Ibrāhīm (Abraham) [may ALLĀH be pleased with him] said this phrase when he was thrown into the fire and it became cool and peaceful for him. The Prophet (Blessings and Peace of ALLĀH be upon him) said it at the battle of Uhud and ALLĀH made him victorious. When Ibrāhīm was placed where the fire was to be set, the Angel Jibreel came to him and asked, "Do you need anything from me?" Ibrāhīm confidently responded, "From you, no. But from Almighty ALLĀH, yes!" Prophet Mūsa (Moses) [may ALLĀH be pleased with him] saw the sea in front of him and the enemy behind him, and he said: Surah Ash-Shuara, Verse 62: قَالَ كَلَّا إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." It is mentioned in some narrations that when the Prophet (Blessings and Peace of ALLĀH be upon him) was hiding in

The bird died and the child grieved for it, and the Messenger of Allah cheered him up by saying, “O Abu 'Umayr, what happened to al-nughayr?” The nughayr is a small bird like a sparrow, or it was said that it is a nightingale. [Bukhari; Muslim] This incident highlights the soft and delightful humour of the Messenger of Allah.

First, Second and Third Hadīths Of The Day

﷽ *First Hadīth Of The Day* حَدَّثَنَا  سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ  زَكَرِيَّاءَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ، عَنْ  أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم  أَكْثَرُنَا ظِلاًّ الَّذِي يَسْتَظِلُّ بِكِسَائِهِ، وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ  صَامُوا فَلَمْ يَعْمَلُوا شَيْئًا، وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ أَفْطَرُوا  فَبَعَثُوا الرِّكَابَ وَامْتَهَنُوا وَعَالَجُوا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى  الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ ذَهَبَ الْمُفْطِرُونَ الْيَوْمَ بِالأَجْرِ ‏" ‏‏.‏  Narrated Anas:                         We were with the Prophet (on a journey) and the only shade one could have was the shade made by  one's own garment. Those who fasted did not do any work and those who did not fast served the  camels and brought the water on them and treated the sick and (wounded). So, the Prophet (ﷺ) said,  "Today, those who were not fasting took (all) the reward."  Sahih Bukhari  (Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad

Surah Hud, Verse 25/26

And indeed We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people (and he said): "I have come to you as a plain warner." ﷽ *Surah Hud, Verse 26:* أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ أَلِيمٍ "That you worship none but Allah, surely, I fear for you the torment of a painful Day." #COMMENTARY Noah's mission was to a wicked world, plunged in sin. The mission had a double character, as in the mission of all Prophets of ALLĀH: it had to warn men against evil and call them to repentance, and it had to give them the glad tidings of ALLĀH's Grace in case they turned back to Almighty ALLĀH: it was a Guidance and Mercy.

PERSISTENT SINS AND PERSISTENT IN SEEKING FORGIVENESS.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 23rd day of Muharram. (Tuesday, 31st of August 2021). *_PERSISTENT SINS AND PERSISTENT IN SEEKING FORGIVENESS_*. *BismilLah*.  Some Muslim sisters and brothers do ask regularly, *_Would ALLAH forgive me for such and such sins_*?. SubhaaAllah, this kind of question is even forbidden to ask to be frank because ALLAH actually LOVE those who return to HIM seeking forgiveness regardless of how often we sin and ask for forgiveness.  ALLAH says; "Say to Mankind: O Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of ALLAH, verily ALLAH forgives ALL sins. Truly, HE is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful" (Quran 39:53). Allahu Akbar. Even if Shirk, just repent and seek forgiveness my dear.  In the Quran, ALLAH repeatedly reminds us that HE is the Forgiving and the Merciful. Read Quranic verses from suura Al-Furqan (Quran 25: 63-73) for a better understanding of these issue

SHORTCUTS TO JANNAH

﷽ ➖➖➖ *SHORTCUTS TO JANNAH* ➖➖➖  *INTRODUCTION* ➖➖➖ There is no doubt that the ultimate success is to enter through the gates of Paradise. Imagine being among the inhabitants of a place where there is no suffering, no discomfort and no hardship.  What a pleasure it would be! But as human beings, we tend to be easily distracted and tend to forget about our ultimate goal.  Allaah(ﷻ)'s mercy cannot be calculated, quantified or imagined. No amount of volumes of book can enlist Allaah(ﷻ)'s mercy. Allaah(ﷻ), out of His infinite mercy has given us so many ways to seek paradise and  if we knew even 50% of these ways, we would marvel at the mercy of our Lord. I believe everyone wants to enter Jannah by all means available. So stay tuned as we would be going through some shortcuts to Jannah in our coming episodes.  May Allaah make us among the inhabitants of Jannah.

Surah Hud, Verse 23/24

Verily, those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and humble themselves (in repentance and obedience) before their Lord, - they will be dwellers of Paradise to dwell therein forever. #COMMENTARY Note that the humility is to be "before their Lord," i.e, in ALLĀH's sight. There is no virtue, quite the contrary, in rubbing our noses to the ground before men. We are not to be arrogant even before men because we are humble as in ALLĀH's sight. Nor does true humility lose self-confidence; for that self-confidence arises from confidence in the support and help of ALLĀH (Sub-haanahu wata'aala). The likeness of the two p

THE GATES OF GOODNESS

BismilLah.  Narrated Mu'adh bin Jabal [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (ALLAH'S Messenger ) said to him: "May I show you the gates of goodness? (They are): (1) Fasting is a screen from Hell. (2) As-Sadaqah (deeds of charity in ALLAH'S Cause) extinguishes (removes) the sins, as the water extinguishes the fire. (3) Standing in Salat (performing of prayers) by a person during the middle (or the last third) part of a night." Then the Prophet (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam) recited: "Their sides forsake their beds." (QURAN 32:16) (Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi) (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi). Search for the tafseer of this beautiful verse.  *_May ALLAH, AL-GHAFOOR (The Forgiving, The Exceedingly Forgiving) aid us to be able to be steadfast in Fasting, given sadaqah and praying at night_*. REMINDER FOR SUNNĀH FASTING!

﷽ *REMINDER FOR SUNNĀH FASTING!* Tomorrow is Monday. Please, endeavour to fast and remind others. Fasting twice a week (i.e Monday and Thursday) helps keep our faith strong and our desires under control. It also keeps us more conscious of Allāh (Sub-haanahu wata'aala). This is the formula for success given to us by our beloved prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). ✔️'Ā'ishah (R.A.) said, "The Messenger of Allāh (Blessings and Peace be upon him) used to take care to fast on Mondays and Thursdays." (at-Tirmidhi) May Allāh (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) make it easy for us and accept it as an act of Ibadah (worship). May He also guide us through our little efforts and answer our positive prayers only if what we request will be of benefit to us both Here and the Hereafter. Ameen

Beneficial advice for women who are already married and to those about to be married.

Beneficial advice for women who are already married and to those about to be married. Following is an advice to every Muslim woman that contains matters to avoid in order to have a good marriage. 1 — Avoid angering your husband. The Prophet PBUH mentioned that among the three that Allah does not accept their prayer are, “A wife who goes to sleep while her husband is angry with her.” [At-Tirmithi]. 2 — Avoid harming your husband in any way, “If a woman harms (in any way) her husband, then his wife in Paradise tells her: ‘Do not harm him, may Allah fight you, he is only staying temporarily with you. Soon he will come to us.‘ [Ahmad & At-Tirmithi]. 3 — Avoid being unappreciative or unthankful to your husband, “Allah does not look to the woman who does not appreciate her husband while she cannot stand his departing her.” [An-Nasaii]. 4 – Do not ask your husband for divorce for no reason. The Prophet PBUH warned women who ask for divorce for no sound reason in his Hadith, “Any woman wh

Purification of Our Souls

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 21st day of Muharram. (Sunday, 29th of August 2021). *_Purification of Our Souls_*. *BismilLah*. The command to purify our hearts from sins was an essential Islamic teaching ever since the early stages of the revelation in Macca. This is known as “purification of the soul” (tazkiyyatun-nafs).  ALLAH says: HE has succeeded who purifies the soul, and he has failed who corrupts the soul. Surah Ash-Shams 91:9-10. Also ALLAH says: A day when there will be no benefit in wealth or children, but only in he who comes  to ALLAH with a pure heart. Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:88-89.  We learn from these verses that our success in the Hereafter depends upon the purification of our hearts in this life. We must purify our hearts from spiritual sins such as greed, malice, envy, arrogance, and worldliness, fornication, stealing. In their place, we must adorn the heart with spiritual virtues such as learning the Quran and applying in our lifes, helping the poor, gener

Women must fear Allah and return to what their Lord and Creator said, and to what the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds said to them and others, and to know that they will meet Al

This reward is for the one who is patient, who seeks his reward with ALLĀH, who repents to Him, and who knows that all his dealings are solely with ALLĀH, the most Gracious. HOW TO BE RICH

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 20th day of Muharram. (Saturday, 28th of August 2021). *_HOW TO BE RICH_*. BismilLah..  We are taught in Islam that if we want ALLAH to bless us more, we must appreciate the little we've got and be content. The more we complain about our suffering the worse we become due to lack of appreciation for the most important in life "OUR GOOD HEALTH". Even the sick person lying on bed helpless is encouraged to say Alhamdulillah as his or her sins are been wipe away due to the illness and you are complaining.     When we are content with what ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) has for us in this world, we will free our mind to work for our Hereafter.
