*DON'T BE SAD*

Episode 140

*APPRECIATE THE BEAUTY OF THE UNIVERSE*

By studying and appreciating the wonders of ALLĀH's creation, you will find peace. ALLĀH, the Exalted, says:

Surah An-Naml, Verse 60:

أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَنبَتْنَا بِهِ حَدَائِقَ ذَاتَ بَهْجَةٍ مَّا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُنبِتُوا شَجَرَهَا أَإِلَٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ يَعْدِلُونَ

Is not He (better than your gods) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water (rain) from the sky, whereby We cause to grow wonderful gardens full of beauty and delight? It is not in your ability to cause the growth of their trees. Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Nay, but they are a people who ascribe equals (to Him)!

Surah Yunus, Verse 101:

قُلِ انظُرُوا مَاذَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا تُغْنِي الْآيَاتُ وَالنُّذُرُ عَن قَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Say: "Behold all that is in the heavens and the earth," but neither Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) nor warners benefit those who believe not.

Surah Taha, Verse 50:

قَالَ رَبُّنَا الَّذِي أَعْطَىٰ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلْقَهُ ثُمَّ هَدَىٰ

[Musa (Moses)] said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright."

Learn from the bright sun, shining stars, rivers, streams, mountains, trees, fruits, air, and water.

Surah Al-Mumenoon, Verse 14:

ثُمَّ خَلَقْنَا النُّطْفَةَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْعَلَقَةَ مُضْغَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْمُضْغَةَ عِظَامًا فَكَسَوْنَا الْعِظَامَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَاهُ خَلْقًا آخَرَ فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ

Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators.

A poet said:

"In everything there is a sign,

Indicating that He is One."

Ilyaa Abu Maadi said: 

"O' complainer who has no cause to grumble,

Imagine how you would be if you became ill,  

Do you see the thorn and the roses yet remain blind?

Or the dewdrops: did you miss them?

He who himself is void of beauty,

Sees nothing beautiful in nature."

Surah Al-Ghashiya, Verse 17:

أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ

Do they not look at the camels, how they are created?

 Einstein said that whoever looks reflectively at the Universe knows that the Other One who created it perfectly is All-Wise and is not playing with dice.

Surah As-Sajda, Verse 7:

الَّذِي أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ الْإِنسَانِ مِن طِينٍ

Who made everything He has created good, and He began the creation of man from clay.

Surah Ad-Dukhan, Verse 39:

مَا خَلَقْنَاهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

We created them not except with truth (i.e. to examine and test those who are obedient and those who are disobedient and then reward the obedient ones and punish the disobedient ones), but most of them know not.

Surah Al-Mumenoon, Verse 115:

أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ

"Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?"

The meaning of these verses is that everything is planned and measured according to divine wisdom. And whoever studies the creation knows that there is One All-Powerful God Who sustains and manages everything and that the notion that everything happens by coincidence is false.

Surah Al-Rahman, Verse 5:

الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ

The sun and the moon run on their fixed courses (exactly) calculated with measured out stages for each (for reckoning, etc.).

Surah Ya Seen, Verse 40:

لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنبَغِي لَهَا أَن تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ

It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit.
