*Dua when waking up:*

*Translation:* All praise is due to Allaah who has given us life after death (sleep). And to Him is our raising up (on the day of Qiyaamah). (Bukhaaree)

We must thank Allaah to have continued our life from sleep (which seemed a form of  death).

*Plan Ramadan: Time to Detox*

*The following are some of the key aspects we should focus on:*

1️⃣. Eating Food is the fuel of desires. The more we fill our stomachs, the  lazier we feel to perform ʿibādah. If we eat a lot, we drink a  lot. And this makes us sleep a lot, which leads to us losing  out on precious time. The Prophet ﷺ ordered the unmarried  companions to fast, because fasting is meant to curtail and  restrain sexual desire.

Likewise, we have to internalise that Ramaḍān is about  fasting, not feasting. We shouldn’t spend too much time  preparing our meals. Naturally the long hours leave us hungry,  making us want to cook more than usual. Similarly, we should  not pressurise our family members to cook elaborate meals  for us.

Imām al-Ghazalī رَحِمَهُ الله explained that one will only reap the full  benefit of a fast if one does not over eat at ifṭār. We should  only eat what one would usually eat on a normal night.  Otherwise, the purpose of fasting will not be fulfilled and it  will be easier for Shayṭān to make inroads into our hearts.

*TAHAJJUD (STANDING FOR PRAYER AT NIGHT)*

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

"You should pray Qiyaam Al-Layl (Tahajjud). For it is  the custom of the righteous before you. Qiyaam Al Layl indeed brings you closer to your Rabb, provides  protection against sins, it expiates sins and prevents ailments from the body." (Sunan Al-Tirmidhi)

A man said to Ibraaheem ibn Adham, "I cannot pray qiyaam al-layl, so tell me the cure for this." He said, *"Do not commit sin during the day, and He will help you to stand before Him at night, for your standing before Him at night is one of the greatest honours, and the sinner does not deserve that honour."*

Masruq reported: I asked A'isha رَضِيَ ٱلله عَنْهَا‎ about The Prophet's night prayer. She  answered: "It was (varying between) seven, nine, and eleven Rak'as, in addition to the  two Rak'as (sunna) of The Fajr."

A'isha "Allah be pleased with her" narrated: The Prophet "Allah's blessing  and peace be upon him" used to offer thirteen Rak'as as the night prayer including the  odd one and the two Rak'as (the Sunna) of the Fajr prayer.  (11) The Prophet's standing for prayer, and sleeping,
{Sahih Bukhari}

*TAHAJJUD DUA:*

 *اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ، لَكَ مُلْكُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ، وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ، وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ، وَمُحَمَّدٌ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَقٌّ، وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ، اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ*

Allahumma lakal-hamd. Anta qaiyyimus-samawati wal-ard wa man fihinna. Walakal-hamd, Laka mulkus-samawati wal-ard wa man fihinna. Walakal-hamd, anta nurus-samawati wal-ard. Ibn Abbas "Allah be pleased with both" narrated: Whenever The Prophet  "Allah's blessing and peace be upon him" got up for prayer at night, offering the  Tahajjud, he used to supplicate to Allah as saying: "O Allah! All the praises be to You;  You are the Holder of the Heavens and the Earth, and whatever is in them. All the  praises be to You; You have the possession of the Heavens and the Earth and whatever  is in them. All the praises be to You; You are the Light of the Heavens and the Earth.  All the praises be to You; You are the King of the Heavens and the Earth. All the  praises be to You; You are the Truth and Your Promise is the truth, And meeting You  is true, Your Word is the truth And Paradise is true And Hell is true And all The  Prophets (Peace be upon them) are true; And Mohammad "Allah's blessing and peace  be upon him" is true, And the Day of Judgement is true. 0 Allah ! I surrender (my will)  to you; I believe in you and depend on you. I repent to You, And with Your help I  argue (with my opponents, the non-believers) And I take you as a judge (to judge  between us). Please forgive me my previous and future sins; and whatever I concealed  or revealed; And You are the One who make (some people) forward and (others)  backward. There is no God to be worshipped but you ."

Abdul 'karim added: "There is  neither power nor might except with you)."
{Sahih Bukhari}

Anas lbn Malek (R.A.A.) narrated that the Prophet (S.A.W.) said,  "Whoever prayed the Fajr prayers in congregation and stays sitting in his place  while remembering Allah (S.W.T.) until the sun rises and then performs two  raka'as, then that will be recorded for him the same as if he performed Hajj and  Omra. *" Anas said that the Prophet (S.A.W.) said, "Complete, complete,  complete (rewards)."*  Abu E'isa said that this hadeeth is hasan gharib.
(Sunnan al-Tirmithi 586)

All Praise is due to ALLAAH  سُبْحَٰنَهُ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ, The Forgiver and Concealer of Faults, The Guide to Repentance, The ONE who Responds to duas

Salaat, Salaam and Salutations Upon The Protector and Guide of The Believers, Our beloved Nabi ﷺ

*Beutiful duas our nabi ﷺ should make during his blessed life, let us make these duas in our everyday  lives InshaAllah*

0 Allaah, open my heart to the hearing of Your remembrance.  Grant me obedience to You and to Your Messenger ﷺ and (grant  me) performance of deeds according to Your Book.

0 Allaah, extend Your graciousness to me by turning all dif ficulties into ease, for to make a difficulty easy is very easy for You.  And I ask You for ease and forgiveness in the world and in the  Hereafter. 0 Allaah, forgive me for indeed You are the Generous Forgiver.

0 Allaah, purify my heart from hypocrisy, my deeds from ostentation and pretension, my tongue from lies, and my eyes from  wrongful glances. For, indeed, You know what the eyes deceptively  glance at and what the hearts conceal.

0 Allaah, grant me profusely weeping eyes that comfort the  heart with tears that flow out of Your fear-before the time comes  when eyes will be shedding blood and teeth will become embers

0 Allah, grant me security with Your power, admit me to Your mercy, let me spend my entire life in Your obedience, let my life  end with my best deed, and make Paradise its reward.

"Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."

GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha. 28th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Tuesday 7th May 2024). *_GIVE CHARITY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD_*. Aameen.  Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "Charity is obligatory everyday on every joint of a human being.* If one helps a person in matters concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride on it or by lifting his luggage on to it, all these will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to offer the compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/2891]. To show gratitude to ALLAH for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in charity or do charitable deeds. Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: ALLAH'S Messenger (sallallahuAlaihiWasallam) said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one w

NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Arba'a. 29th day of Shaw'waal, 1445AH (Wednesday 8th May 2024). *_NOTHING HAPPENS WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH_*. BismilLah.  Even though feelings of Panic, stress/worries etc are part of life, they must not reduce our acts of worship or trust in ALLAH. The more a man turns to ALLAH and focuses on HIM, the more he will feel a sense of peace and comfort, to an extent that no one knows except ALLAH. Hence those who know ALLAH, are close to HIM and fear HIM are the happiest of people, to such an extent that one of them said, in a well-known expression: “If the kings and the sons of kings knew what joy we have, they would fight us for it with the sword.” This is also what is expressed in the Qur’an, as ALLAH says: “Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him ALLAH will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and ALLAH will p
